I just did this on my Lancer. I didn't have to take the power steering bracket off to take the far-left nut off however. I just went from underneath with a ratchet wrench and use my fingers through the space between the manifold pipes to pull the ratchet wrench up. Also i have the 4-1 instead of 4-2-1. Cool vid

I had these same headers with a 2.5" straight pipe all the way back to the rear bumper no cats, no resonators, or anything like that into a 3.5" blast pipe. It was STUPID loud! xD i put stock headers back on because these hang too low on the downpipe and my car is slammed and also it sounds better with stock headers then just straight pipe to the back!! but nice video you guys remind me of me and my friends :D
The Walls Are Melting yeah we were pretty much the same set up we use 2 1/2 all the way out as well we had that cherry bomb straight through at the end but I don't think it did much but you're right it is extremely loud lol!! he ended up selling the car and the guy who bought it actualy liked how it sounded!!!! LOL
got a $70 ebay header on my 2001 Hyundai elantra, did it due to the cat being stopped up, its part of the manifold so this was a cheap fix,,, so its header, no cats, resonator and stock muffler, its quiet except at 3k it makes a buzzing sound out the muffler now,, but gained 50 miles per tank of gas so yeah that was cool. had to re-tap the 02 sensor threads to make it work, had the wrong pitch to them, also i left the downstream 02 sensor out of the pipe but plugged in and im getting no codes and running great just fyi
Ah Tan yes i bought a dsm! i'm building this one the proper way this winter! i'm putting a built motor in it and going for the most power i can make on current stage 1 clutch i have. and getting everything 100% next winter will be bigger turbo and clutch
Aye buddy I just ordered this same set I got the car for free has a clogged cat with no codes does this header throw a code or not need to pass emissions in Missouri
@@RydogsGarage I can get it passed without a cat at shop I go to no problem but if it throws a code I’m just gonna keep the stock header on that’s clogged that doesn’t throw a code right now get it inspected pass with flying colors then throw the new header on and drive til the next time Have to get it inspected
Gary Hylton we know, and didn't care, we did the cheapest ebay mods you could do to the car to just have fun with it becuase it has close to 300k miles, we jumped it, drifted and off road drove that car, and it ran like a champ. it's long gone now
the stock air box on the es lancer is super restricting so it’s an upgrade regardless, and that’s probably the best spot you could easily install a cai on the 4g94 bay

Brother when you change the air intake and headers did you reprogram the ECu to accept the intake and manifolds.

David B suprizingly no! we put both 02 sensors back in and nothing else and didn't have a check engine light.
