It feels weird that the G36 ends up being the DMR and the M16 ends up being a burst rifle when it conflicts the gun language of halo, where the designs kind of speak to what the gun is going to do. To me it's the other way around where the M16 would be the DMR and the G36C would be a burst rifile, but that may just be me.
Something I’d do for the rifles is raise them up a bit. Typically, Bungie never had Halo’s rifles feature a flat, unbroken rail on the top. From the DMR to the BR to the AR, their rifles always had a “bump” Where the ammo counter was. That’s probably the only bit of feedback I have! You killed it again, man! I especially loved the M16

The Tavor, LA87, LA96/LA115A3 and the M60 are all guns I think have the silhouette that could create some really cool halo guns that would fit in the universe imo.
Perhaps an interesting offshoot of Halofying real world weapons would be to make Halo weapons look like real world weapons. Or perhaps giving Covenant weapons a UNSC make over?

It would be reaaally cool to see what native/post covenant Jackal, Grunt, drone or even prophet weapons might look like. Maybe grunts have crude plasma "shotguns" while jackals steal needler crystals and prophets go into laser tech? Either way, amazing video, really loved the lore and the design of the M16 and Id kill to see it enter lore
Some of these you absolutely nailed in terms of the design whilst others didn’t feel different enough from the original. In my opinion even more yellow and green alongside a more simple design would have brought it to the next level. Excellent work you’re really doing some justice to the franchise.
The AG55 had a very short stock that would be super uncomfortable to use, especially since it's not adjustable. You said you wanted it to be more compact but compact version of weapons usually opt for a shorter barrel above all else. The rest were great though and I love seeing the grot get some attention! Would love to see something belt fed in the next one.
I feel like Killzone also does scifi human weapons really well. Probably even the best I've seen. They look entirely conventional and believable, where some of Halo's weapons like the SPANKR can just look goofy.
You should now do the Olympia and MGL Nade launchers, MP7 and MP5, Type 95, ACR/ACWR, double barrel shotty, sawed off shotty, G18 machine pistol, bolt action sniper, maybe a human weapon with a bayonet?
I think that's part of why I love Halo so much: the human equipment looks close enough to modern that you almost feel like it could really exist in real life. For weapons: I'd say M60, HK21, GM6 Lynx, and the RPG-7. For something a bit more wild, I'd suggest Halofying Avatar.
I kinda want to see a halofied AAC honeybadger, as a ODST assault rifle that has a integrated suppressor like thier other weapons, HK 146 assault rifle as I alway's liked it's design, and a halofied bow and arrow, just to see how you could justify it

Another amazing video! The AS-M and MPW-1 are definitely my favorites. The AS-M because of how close to home it is, and the MPW-1 because it really feels like a good update to the PPSh-41's design. Though I wish the A-23 kept the bolt catch (the little button the player character either pushes or slaps) that ARs usually have. Still, it's a cool design!
My only issue is the handguards being so thin. The MA5B and variants all have hand guards, but they're thicker, like you're supposed to smash grunt skulls with them

I really like the VAL. There's something very 21st century about it in a way that Halo firearms aren't. And yet it's aesthetic fits seamlessly into the universe.

The M16A4, also known as an AK-47, was heavily used back in WW1 due to it’s sleek design and affordable price and weight. Because it was a 9mm automatic bolt action sniper rifle, it features in the Star Wars series because of how cheap it is. With a 200 rounds in the chamber and one in the magazine, it allows for speed and high mobility during combat. Because it can take it’s stock off, it allows you to run even faster during the high octane trench combat. With a stock underslung shotgun and grenade launcher, it allows from close range, and very far range. i had an aneurysm trying to make this paragraph
You did a great job with these - I especially like the MSBD-18 and the AG55, they look like well-proportioned and clean utilitarian designs. I'd love to see you adapt the XM25 Punisher, the Uzkon UNG-12, or the M14.
Halo approach to future weapons seem to be"take what already exist, but make hard to work technology common and super size them". I mean the stand sidearm is 12.7mm handgun that probably stronger then most current day rifles.
The m16 looks great, it has space for the iconic ammo counter and the front post would make integral iron sights and optional holographic projection sights
Imagine that in the Lore of Halo the aesthetics of modernized weapons that came out of the 20th and 21st centuries look like they appear in the video in the 2500s, I would be excited

I mean, just picture it: the UNSC come across a hulking derelict ship boasting weapons that are paradoxically both primitive and archaic while still being millennia ahead of anything the UNSC fields at the time. How would the UNSC make… _Bolters, Lasguns, Meltaguns, etc._ Maybe even expand this series to both modern day and fictional vehicles. That’d be a cool project.

One thing I'd like to see in future redesigns, a lot of UNSC weapons have flush fitting magazines that fit seamlessly into the rest of the weapon. Unlike weapons in the present day that have magazines that jut out like AKs, ARs, FALs even bullpups like Steyr AUGs, Tavors, Weapons in Halo have magazines that look almost integral to the rest of the weapon like the SMG. No modern day SMG (or similar type of weapon) has a magzine that flush fitting with the rest of the weapon except for a few like the FN P90, PP19 Bizon, or MP7
To be fair, the SMG has case-less ammunition which makes it stand out. The shotgun also somewhat stands out with it being 10 guage and it's large magazine. 10 gauges are a thing but I don't believe they come with that large of a tube magazine
I like them a lot, the G35C reminds me of early game destiny 1 assault rifles. The M16 also gives me DMR vibes and OG destiny vibes. Now that I actually think about it I can see most of these appearing in Halo and OG Destiny (Before the 2013 cut.) Over all great video, hope to see more stuff like this in the future.
You know what I *really* want? You to do this again, but instead of converting weapons into guns for the UNSC, you make plasma versions for the Covenant.
Heya, massive halo lore nerd here. For the G36 i would take the opportunity to hybridize the low C model rail with the inbuilt optic system of the full sized rifles top rail, the UNSC has pretty much entirely abandoned ironsights outside of backup use, so an optic and smart link would be a perfect fit. Plus removing the BUIS front post on the handguard would go a long way to cleaning up the overall silhouette. For the VAL i would personally cut the supressor down in size, convert it into a flechette weapon, and make the magazine a stubbier quad stack, finish with an optic on the top. This would give the vibe of an ODST armor piercing "wetwork" rifle. On the M16 i would ditch the front post and make the carry handle have an inbuilt optic system, beyond that no notes there. And then for the MSBS Grot i would just put that optic you have on the full size layout onto the bullpup.
I have four suggestions: 1. The Browning M2 (it'd be legitimately hilarious if the Halofied version had barely any changes to it) 2. M14 3. M1911 (or M9) 4. The Javelin As a bonus for the Memes: The B-52 Stratofortress. It's the year 2552 and the UNSC is still fielding B-52s.
At the rate things are going I fully expect unmodified Browning M2s to still be in service in 2552. I totally second doing a UNSC uprated (NOT newly designed/built) B-52 variant. I saw a great meme recently showing a B-52 engine-swapped for warp nacelles escorting the Enterprise-D to be retired while the B-52 was expected to continue in service into the indefinite future, and a UNSC take on that would make a fine addition to anyone's meme collection.
The older weapons look more interesting when made futuristic I dunno if you'll see this but I'll suggest a few guns (some stuff other than rifles) - C96 - Spectre SMG - FG-42 - PTRS-41 - Hill H15 - China Lake 40mm - Type 64 Silenced - Calico - "Papa" Nambu - MAS 49 - H&K VP-70M - VZ.61 Skorpion - Walther MPL I'll put a few more challenging ones here - Chauchat LMG - Tompson - MAS-38 - Winchester Liberator Shotgun - General Liu's Semiauto Rifle - DP-27 - Boys Anti-Tank Rifle
The move of picking the older m16 model rather then the more ever present, widely used AR-15 was refreshing and ultimately did deliver a very distinctive Halo looking gun. (And frankly also looks like a Destiny gun, especially something made by Häkke) Edit: oh and I love to see the Garand, other franchises already taken jabs at sci-fi-ing the iconic semi-auto and I love to see how you think it translate into Halo.
Some weapons Id love to see are the MP34, the MG42, the M60, the TAR-21, the M1911, the CZ75, the FN FAL, the G3, the G11, the PPS 43, and finally the MP40.
Desert Eagle, P90, SPAS 12, M1887 with spin-cocking lever, M1911 Also a thought, could find some guns that would work well turning them into Covenant/plasma weapons
I think it would be interesting to see a broader variety of weapon types. Theres a lot of iconic rifles as such, but it'd be interesting to take a dive into pistols, launchers, smaller form submachine guns, etc. Really curious to see something small like a 1911 somehow be halofied
Something Halo doesn’t have is a revolver and I feel like the Mateba Unica 6 would be a great gun to bring into Halo. Aside from those some other ideas are the M60 machine gun, the Tavor X-95, the M200 Intervention, the SHAK-12, the GM-6 Lynx, and the BAR. As a personal bonus the 1895 Lee Navy rifle would be fun to see as its a lesser known straight pull bolt action.
What makes me think that weapons may not change much, is that, as humans, we dont change much physiologically. I believe in the future what will change is projectiles, and the materials that make up a firearm to handle said projectiles. Shape or form not so much. .
If they ever have a Halo game with human enemies like the Insurrectionists, this would be a perfect idea to design their weapons. If the consistent largely of civilians turned into militiamen, they would have a mish mash of non-standard weapons and this would be a great way get ideas. Having said this, I think the Kriss Vector would fit into Halo quite easily with almost no visual changes to "futurize" it. Probably just give it an integrated optic like the Assault Rifle and change the magwell and mag to look like it's firing a beefier futuristic caliber that is more fitting for fighting giant armored and shielded aliens.
I love the design but I’ve gotta say it. The rails on the AS-M seem like a good idea, but that suppressor is gonna be hot as hell in a fight, and could melt electronics and optics

There is a mod for Hlo Reach that adds the M73 machine gun. It is a canon weapon in Halo lore.

I'd suggest the M2 Browning machine gun but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was completely unchanged and still in widespread use in 500 years

I like them a lot, the G35C reminds me of early game destiny 1 assault rifles. The M16 also gives me DMR vibes and OG destiny vibes. Now that I actually think about it I can see most of these appearing in Halo and OG Destiny (Before the 2013 cut.) Over all great video, hope to see more stuff like this in the future.

Heya, massive halo lore nerd here. For the G36 i would take the opportunity to hybridize the low C model rail with the inbuilt optic system of the full sized rifles top rail, the UNSC has pretty much entirely abandoned ironsights outside of backup use, so an optic and smart link would be a perfect fit. Plus removing the BUIS front post on the handguard would go a long way to cleaning up the overall silhouette. For the VAL i would personally cut the supressor down in size, convert it into a flechette weapon, and make the magazine a stubbier quad stack, finish with an optic on the top. This would give the vibe of an ODST armor piercing "wetwork" rifle. On the M16 i would ditch the front post and make the carry handle have an inbuilt optic system, beyond that no notes there. And then for the MSBS Grot i would just put that optic you have on the full size layout onto the bullpup.
I have four suggestions:
1. The Browning M2 (it'd be legitimately hilarious if the Halofied version had barely any changes to it)
2. M14
3. M1911 (or M9)
4. The Javelin
As a bonus for the Memes: The B-52 Stratofortress. It's the year 2552 and the UNSC is still fielding B-52s.
At the rate things are going I fully expect unmodified Browning M2s to still be in service in 2552. I totally second doing a UNSC uprated (NOT newly designed/built) B-52 variant. I saw a great meme recently showing a B-52 engine-swapped for warp nacelles escorting the Enterprise-D to be retired while the B-52 was expected to continue in service into the indefinite future, and a UNSC take on that would make a fine addition to anyone's meme collection.
The space m16 goes hard, it’s just such a neat profile, it just screams American military.

Turn the M6 into a desert eagle, give me two to dual wield and I'll teach the covenant a whole new meaning of pain.
The move of picking the older m16 model rather then the more ever present, widely used AR-15 was refreshing and ultimately did deliver a very distinctive Halo looking gun.
(And frankly also looks like a Destiny gun, especially something made by Häkke)
Edit: oh and I love to see the Garand, other franchises already taken jabs at sci-fi-ing the iconic semi-auto and I love to see how you think it translate into Halo.
Some weapons Id love to see are the MP34, the MG42, the M60, the TAR-21, the M1911, the CZ75, the FN FAL, the G3, the G11, the PPS 43, and finally the MP40.
The M-16 is my favorite. Just wish it had the 3 prong flash hider instead of the bird cage.

SIG MCX and SCAR-H, they have a very futuristic kinda vibe to them that would work well with a bit of halofication.

I think it would be interesting to see a broader variety of weapon types. Theres a lot of iconic rifles as such, but it'd be interesting to take a dive into pistols, launchers, smaller form submachine guns, etc. Really curious to see something small like a 1911 somehow be halofied
If it wasnt for this video being 5 days old, id accuse paramount watching this video and being like "Here is an AK47 halo fied...but not really"
The G36 and the two Grots look the best in my opinion, these three specifically look like they could actually be in Halo.

Shortcut for the next series, just blend anything KelTec with anything Hera. That will get you about 90% there.
Something Halo doesn’t have is a revolver and I feel like the Mateba Unica 6 would be a great gun to bring into Halo.
Aside from those some other ideas are the M60 machine gun, the Tavor X-95, the M200 Intervention, the SHAK-12, the GM-6 Lynx, and the BAR.
As a personal bonus the 1895 Lee Navy rifle would be fun to see as its a lesser known straight pull bolt action.
AK-47/AKM, SPAS-12, FAMAS, FAL, MP5, P90, and Barett .50cal.
What makes me think that weapons may not change much, is that, as humans, we dont change much physiologically. I believe in the future what will change is projectiles, and the materials that make up a firearm to handle said projectiles. Shape or form not so much. .

If they ever have a Halo game with human enemies like the Insurrectionists, this would be a perfect idea to design their weapons. If the consistent largely of civilians turned into militiamen, they would have a mish mash of non-standard weapons and this would be a great way get ideas.
Having said this, I think the Kriss Vector would fit into Halo quite easily with almost no visual changes to "futurize" it. Probably just give it an integrated optic like the Assault Rifle and change the magwell and mag to look like it's firing a beefier futuristic caliber that is more fitting for fighting giant armored and shielded aliens.
I love the design but I’ve gotta say it. The rails on the AS-M seem like a good idea, but that suppressor is gonna be hot as hell in a fight, and could melt electronics and optics
