I love your tips on where to place the shadows in perspective to the iris. Thank you!! I've watched TH-cam videos for years and I have never seen the tips and tricks that you share with us! Could you please do more tips and tricks with makeup? :D
I'm so glad times are changing. I have blue and purple hair, tattoos, and I can wear bold makeup all I want...and I am a supervisor overseeing a large group of staff in a university office. :)
And this eye look is STUNNING. I didn't buy Pegasus, but I will try these techniques with another one of the foils that I do have. Thanks for the beautiful tutorial.
This comment made me smile. I thought of my supervisor! She has pink hair and always has bomb glittery eye makeup. :) I bet you would take some stellar selfies together.
I just love that I found this channel - my summer tan was a MAC NW20, and my current winter pale skin is NW10. My skin used to be combination/oily/acne prone, but it's really settling down and now I can suddenly actually look a bit dry on my cheeks and forehead if I'm not careful... basically, this channel is a perfect match for me :D
I was watching this video and had to pause real quick to comment. Your skin is beautiful. I would've sworn you had already put on under eye concealer. Flawless, absolutely flawless. 😘
I just found your channel yesterday and I definitely subscribed!! I seen almost all of your vids! Your personality and the way u explain everything your doing is awesome!!!! Keep it up! :)
I'm dry in the same areas, what do you use to exfoliate? Whenever I exfoliate my dry skin seems worse for a few days. I moisturize with Clinique Gel Moisturizer and Josie Muran Argon Oil. Suggestions?
I have really helped clear up most of the dry spots I used to get bad. I have a current skin care video. I do that, then my AHA/BHA video to chemically exfoliate. Then the science behind face oils video too to replenish. Have you had a chance to see those videos? Those should help
Stephanie Nicole awesome thank you I appreciate that I recently started my own beauty channel and I'm decorating my beauty room n been looking but couldn't find what I wanted and I love that! Ur amazing thank you again ❤
I'm just laughing. I have never seen anyone's makeup turn out perfectly every time. It's flawless. When we buy products from the companies in which you're affiliated, you make a commission, yes? I want to support you, that's why I ask. I've learned so much from you, so I want to give back if I can. You're a good person, Stephanie.
Lovely look, loved it, really suits you🙌I despise doing my hair aswell, it's such a pain😭 tried ur "cookin /baking" technique and I loved it, I'm 32&dry and was skeptical aswell but it really look smooth and kinda filled in my lines😂good tip about putting on bottom mascara first, never tried that b4😊
Hey Stephanie, quick question for you. when you apply the eyeshadow primer from urban decay do you apply it just to the eyelid or all the way up to the brow bone? do you have any tips for using eyeshadow bases or primers ?
could you do a review of the ABH eyeshadows? I have watched other reviews but feel they all have a biased opinion (due to them being sent to them, the brand as a whole being hyped, etc..)
just subbed! i really like u! im really sick of all the other beauty influences they come across so fake and are constantley shoving they're coupon codes down our throats and lying about products so they can make $ you come across very honest and nice! keep up the good work!
@Stephanie Nicole is there a affordable makeup brush brand that you would recommend? Right now I'm using wet and wild brushes. I went to look at the Wayne Goss ones since I see a lot of people using them but they're just waaaay out of my range. Thanks..
Still can't stop watching your videos and now I'm a creep commenting on a year old video haha. Seriously though, you are hands down my favorite TH-camr and I'm stoked you have hooded eyes like I do. Oh and I feel ya on the whole hating washing your hair. I'm on my fourth day of no hair washing 😂 thanks again for all the effort you put into your channel!
I 100% agree! I have seen the Stephanie Nicole light and there's no turning back! Lol! Now when I watch all these other well known makeup "gurus" I've been subscribed to this whole time, I can barely make it through their full videos. Stephanie's intelligent, chill, no BS attitude is SUCH a breath of fresh air in a world of all these "yaaaas bitch" and "slaaaay hunty" finger snapping makeup channels... 😂
I have no idea how to reply properly. I hate tech! But, seriously, she is like the best kept secret on youtube. How is she only know sort of being discovered? You killed me with the end of your statements and your snaps- because I could totally picture it!! She is just on her game. She zooms in so we can see what the hell she's doing. She explains everything so well. Pretty much anything you ask her to do, she will. I've asked her to do 3 different things in like a month, and she's already done two!!
Ha I know your comments aren't showing up under mine on steph's video. I have to go to my google account to see you lol oh well! But I know I can't believe she is just now gaining more mainstream popularity as well! Just a month ago or so when I first found her she had I think 50k subs maybe? Now she's well over 100k which is awesome for her she so deserves it! My fav thing about her videos is all the research she puts into these products and the people/faces behind them! Also like you said I appreciate how well she explains everything to us, her vids just rock! What were the 2 things you asked that she did? That's awesome!
I discovered your channel recently and I love your videos!! I also like the way you review products. I have been trying a similar technique to bake my under eye concealer and it works pretty well. I have dark circles, puffiness and dryness around my eyes plus fine lines since I am in my early 30s. I will try to add some of the steps you do as well. By the way, I don't know if anyone has told you but you look like a young Marcia Gay Harden. Anyway, thanks for sharing xoxo
Thanks for explaining the layout of eyeshadow placement to achieve a layered look. You have beautiful eyes. I think that moderately fuller eyebrows would further compliment your face. And in this particular look, adding a bit more brown color above the crease area would balance the look out... Thanks for the inspiration as always..
Leonor Perez Thank you! The shape is called ballerina or coffin nails, the color is a gel, but they make it in a duo pack with a regular polish too, I use on my toenails, Its Le Chat Perfect Match in Violetta amzn.to/1KmW5WP
Love your tutorials, i think your a trip! Super funny and I def agree I hate washing and styling my hair too hate having to get it cut/trimmed also. Lol. ❤️❤️
i hate washing my hair too! it fades my crazy colors and is way harder to style!!!! Love your videos. first "scientific" youtube videos I have seen. and the math and comparisons really help me make decisions! I still am not sure about MUG shadows, tho, but mattes dont tend to work well for me EVER. what am I doing wrong? I have hooded eyes too.
Stephanie I have a question for you. my eyes are mostly hooded, a lot like yours. I love shimmery and foiled shadows on the lids, but it always transfers to the hood, without fail, and it's not a good look... I've tried using elf's lock and seal, but no, it doesn't work... any ideas or suggestions? if I can't figure this out, I'll have to do only matte eyes, all the time... BORING
Shaun Soule Yes I've tried it (The one from ELF, which is very good, also) It helps, but doesn't eliminate the problem. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Hi Stephanie, new lover of your channel. I know this video was a very long time ago but can you possibly remember the nail polish your wearing? Thank you!
Can you comment on Mac vs MUG shadows, since Mac lower single shadow price to $6? I like being able to test out the shadows in a store (mac) but you tube gives more love it seems to MUG. Thanks!
So what can I use for transition shades if browns look terrible on me cause of my sallow skin? Greys? I wish you could do an eye-look for someone with sallow, olive skin. Also, a video that features cruelty-free brands.
I've used a lot of Makeup Geek, and I absolutely prefer them to MAC. However, Neptune by MUG is terrible. I'd pick out maybe 3 mattes, a duochrome, and a foil to see what you like. My MUG CRUSH my MAC shadows in pigment. Pyrrah Nyx does a great video on MUG foiled shadows using a brush. There's also a link after her video to her blog where she goes in depth about them.
Is makeup geek private labeled? She's always talking about "her" lab, but it takes months for her to restock products. She also said her products don't contain talc but then randomly only one did? Doesn't make sense
Caroline K MakeupGeek has her own formulations that she creates, tests and refines with a lab, to be then made by a factory, she doesn't own the factory. A private label would be getting make up from a factory and they stamp it with your brand. It's basically a stock formula and you pick colours. If you search eBay for a 35 pan palette, that's where you will see lots of palettes that look exactly the same with different brands, they are private label. Hope that made sense 😊
Hi Stephanie don't worry about your hair, mines waist length and I only was mine every 5-7 days, but it is tied up most of the week....luv&hugs from Ireland.....xPx
Can you please do more MUG foiled eyeshadow looks like this one (i.e. no black/winged liner and pretty colors)? I know it's been 2 years but if the offer for requests still stands please please make some more using pegasus and fantasy and some with secret garden, sorcery, grandstand, daydreamer, center stage ? I love the way you teach us how to use them. I cannnot use them without tutorials, even though I've bought so many MUG eyeshadows they are sending ME free makeup now :)
This woman is the people's make up artist. She explains it all so brilliantly. Stephanie, you are wonderful. X
I love your tips on where to place the shadows in perspective to the iris. Thank you!! I've watched TH-cam videos for years and I have never seen the tips and tricks that you share with us! Could you please do more tips and tricks with makeup? :D
what do you think about makeup geek products, etc.? do you mind doing a review on mug like you did on morphe? love your the morphe review!! thanks! :)
yes please! I have similar questions!
She's affiliated with MUG, and judging by how resourceful and honest she is, I'm sure that's a good indicator that she likes them.
Lyn Lyn same here. Because of her I decided to give up on Morphe and invested in kvd instead
That would be so great!
I'm so glad times are changing. I have blue and purple hair, tattoos, and I can wear bold makeup all I want...and I am a supervisor overseeing a large group of staff in a university office. :)

omg you are SO cute with no make up!! you look like a teenager! you obviously take care of your skin - it def shows
Stunning! I love the laying down the base trick, thank you!
Awesome video I'm definitely going to try that "baking" 😊
Eunice E. Let me know how it turns out :)
Love your look. Great! I have all of these makeup geek foiled eye shadows. Love them. Thanks so much.
love the look! ❤ your channel is my new absolute favorite!
I just found your channel yesterday and I definitely subscribed!! I seen almost all of your vids! Your personality and the way u explain everything your doing is awesome!!!! Keep it up! :)
Ashley Young Thank you so much for your kind words
Always learn something new from your videos.

Arlene Kelleher Yay so happy it worked for you too!
It wore really well aswell it didn't budge/crease or nothing😊looking forward to more tutorials🙌
Hey Stephanie, quick question for you.
when you apply the eyeshadow primer from urban decay do you apply it just to the eyelid or all the way up to the brow bone? do you have any tips for using eyeshadow bases or primers ?
Beautiful! I am obsessed with this eye look, smoky blues and greens are my favorite type of eyeshadow looks.
thlover27 I am going to do a green look too then :)
This is a beautiful look, thank you for sharing!
could you do a review of the ABH eyeshadows? I have watched other reviews but feel they all have a biased opinion (due to them being sent to them, the brand as a whole being hyped, etc..)
I LOVE that ring you wear on your left hand middle finger, where is that from?
What camera do you use for your videos ??? And i love your videos
Beautiful! Love this!

I'm with you, girl. I just left a comment today....June 27th, 2016! Ever since finding her, I've seriously lost interest in everyone else!

Can you comment on Mac vs MUG shadows, since Mac lower single shadow price to $6? I like being able to test out the shadows in a store (mac) but you tube gives more love it seems to MUG. Thanks!
Honestly, I'd say MUG is better. But, MUG Neptune is awful. Other than that, they've been great.
loved this!

🙊🙉🙈
YOU hate doing your hair lol my hair is BIG AND CURLY AND LOOONG its stress haha but i love my hair
