I just found you and I am having a marathon! I am a medical aestheticism and have been on the medical end of aesthetics for many years. I truly appreciate your research and your product knowledge. Stephanie Nicole, please don't let the trolls get to you. You are informative, well spoken, honest, and concise. You have a great channel and you are a great resource.
I love your channel and love your honesty . I don't see anything wrong with you being sponsored or joining affiliate links . as long as you never lose your honesty . Theres nothing wrong with making alittle money to compensate for all the money you put into your channel for all those reviews. Stay fabulous girl and can't wait for your next video!:))))))
+Stephanie Nicole your welcome . It only makes sense . Money doesn't grow on trees and people need to understand. You are saving us alot of money with these reviews. Thanks for all you do . I will totally support you with using your links
First I want to say you look extra bomb today without makeup, your skin seriously looks amazing!! and seriously good for you for trying to get affiliated and stuff, I think its well deserved especially for you, all of your viewers know how straight up and honest you are thats one of the reasons why you're on of my favorite youtubers! I would recommend looking into Rewardstyle! (its like a platform for bloggers/vloggers to get affiliated with many brands and sites all at once through them, its actually really cool!) AND random but seriously the amount of prep you did on your skin before applying actual foundation I was like woah I need to step my game up asap. hahaha, and now this is officially the longest comment ever! I just wanted to say, love this video love your personality and keep going!
+Dona Camaj Thanks Dona! I appreciate that. I really stepped up my skin care game when I turned 30. So its been an interesting 4 years, but I am so so glad I stuck with it during the crappy first few months while my skin adjusted. I think rewardstyle said my channel wasn't big enough for them. But I did get someone at Sephora, Nordstrom, Beautylish & Makeup Geek, so I can link like that now :) I have such dry skin, if I don't do that much prep, my chin & nose will start to get flakey. I find the more prep I do, the better my makeup looks all day. I like long comments! ;)
Girl, you are hands down my favorite TH-camr. Not only do you have similar skin and you're a fellow hooded eye babe, but you're honesty and integrity is so appreciated. I truly learn from you and I can tell you care so much about educating your viewers. For years I had a high stress job in arts/nonprofit marketing. Then I developed autoimmune diseases and thyroid cancer most recently. Makeup has been a huge part in keeping me busy and creative, calming anxiety and boosting my self esteem. Beauty is something I was obsessed with in high school but I let society tell me that I wasn't a feminist or comfortable in my own skin if I wore makeup. Now I know better! And I'm having a blast and even considering doing it professionally since I can't do the office work anymore. You seriously inspired me since the first video I watched of yours. Please keep it up. I'm sure so many people benefit from your videos! You are a badass. Also, I'm dying to get Wayne Goss brushes but I can't afford them! One day...goals. Thanks for your commitment and dedication. You are beautiful! 😘
Kristen Martinez-Simpson thank you so much! I'm getting better daily but there will be issued I deal with for the rest of my life. But I'll never give up! I appreciate the comment. Lots of love!
Stephanie, you are honestly my absolute favorite youtuber! I've been binge-watching your videos for days now, and I just love everything about your channel. You're just so genuine and thoughtful, and I've never heard ANYONE asking their audience before getting affiliate links. It just goes to show how transparent and trustworthy you are, just like all your makeup reviews. I am so happy to have found your channel.
I absolutely love the way you've been throughout the entire time you've been on youtube. You're so genuine and real, and i love how you keep your viewers informed. You can tell how educated and smart you are in the way you talk and explain things. I know its random to be complimented on things like that but its rare to see women/girls on youtube as honest as you through and through. And if i ever clicked on an affiliate link i honestly wouldnt second guess clicking on yours :)
I'm in my 30's too and I relate to your channel so much. You're so sweet, informative and down to earth. I'm so happy I found your channel. I've binge watched so many of your videos I feel like we're friends lol! Love love love your channel!
I love how honest you are with the affiliate links. I watch a lot of other makeup videos and I had to stop watching a bunch of popular bloggers because it was basically an infomercial. Sell-outs :X
To be truthful, if you hadn't said you didn't have a $x,xxx priced lighting and camera setup, I would have never of thought otherwise. Your videos are fantastic quality and the lighting is great! Not sure but it seems like you've got a substantial amount of sunlight coming through which is the best "soft box" imo. A heavy-duty camera and lighting is something you definitely don't need to worry about right now. I'm sure the majority of us are obsessed with the content! :)
+isaacjamesx I have a Canon t5i & a ring light. So I am in no rush, but the initial equipment with light, camera, editing software, voice over mic, boom mic on the camera, was about $3,000. I would like the clarity to get better over time. That shits expensive though! lol. Thank you!
I really admire your honestly Stephanie. I'm pregnant, and taking time off, so I've been binge watching your videos 😭 I told my Mom today about how you, and your Mother always wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. We decided to put up on that habit. Your mom is gorgeous!! Like my Mom 💕 I can see where you get it! Lots of love!!
Stef, your honesty is appreciated. You are so genuine and down to earth. I don't see anything wrong with having affiliate links, we know you always keep your reviews real, that's what makes your channel so unique
never sell out to companies, you don't need too and we need more youtubers like you! i've been looking for a channel like this forever, don't give up and the subscribers will come to you :)
I honestly never like to watch makeup anything on social media (as a drag queen it's a bit strange, I'm sure) but I love your videos. They're backed by information, they're unapologetic, and they're HELPFUL. Especially for someone that doesn't like to just "paint by the numbers" when watching makeup videos. So I didn't know where to ask this, but I usually don't have problems with putting on a face. However, there's one thing that can be the bane of my existence: watery eyes, particularly my right eye. They don't get itchy, just annoyingly watery! It usually helps for me to leave my contacts out all day until it's time to paint, using eye drops, and being incredibly delicate around the eye (and using soft brushes). Any chance you could do a video /blurb about application techniques to reduce eye watering, known reasons for eye watering, beauty routines that help reduce watering, etc? I may not reach you this way, but I figured I'd throw that suggestion out there. Either way, you're awesome and thank you for existing.
I completely support your use of affiliate links. I find you to be very trustworthy & feel confident that you give us your honest opinion! Thanks for this video, I really love GRWM(s)!
I miss your full face talk throughs! They're so relaxing and I learn so much. I've been binge watching your videos for weeks now. I learn something new each time! Thank you for your honest commitment to TH-cam and your viewers.
love these chitchat videos it shows how fabulous you are as a person. we need more honest people like you in TH-cam who talk to us openly and just be who are without trying hard for that. keep going girl you are amazing. love your videos and style
You are so awesome, like seriously. You are hands down the most genuine youtuber I've seen and its so nice to know that we can trust you and that you always keep it real!
Stephanie, you are so beautiful inside and out! I JUST discovered your videos yesterday, and I have literally been watching them non_stop. Not even kudding, I didn't even go to bed. And yours is the first ever makeup tutorial/review channel I have ever watched, as well as the first and only I have subscribed to. I am so excited I found you, and I am now HOOKED!! I know this video is quite old, but I just had to comment on how honest and ethical you are. That's the main reason I am so enamored. Never ever stop doing the awesome job you are doing! 😍
New subscriber. I LOVE your honesty. Sponsorships are taking over beauty guru channels, and some bury the information in their descriptions and aren't upfront about the sponsorship in the videos. It is so disappointing. Especially when they start excepting sponsorships not even in their realm... Like teas and apps and stuff. But if you believe in the product sincerely, GO FOR IT. I have already watched a few of your videos, but you were honest and thorough and taking a lot of time to do these. You deserve to be compensated for it. By the way, you look like Holly Marie Combs. You were very pretty. Love your tattoos, too. Can I ask what state you are in (I assume you are American; I am from Canada)?
I love your GRWM videos. It shows how awesome you are. your personality is genuine and heart warming. Please do more.! keep doing your thing girlie. no hate here. lol.
No worries girl! I want you to know you have become one of my favs because of your honesty, in depth knowledge of ingredients, similar age lol and all in all beauty inside and out. 💋 I wouldn't hesitate to try something that you've reviewed because I trust your opinion. ❤
I love that she's very different than other makeup youtubers. Very genuine, informed, honest and not extra (not that extra's bad it's just very common).
Perfect timing with the links, I'm about to place a massive order with MUG. I'm so happy you're able to make some extra money doing this because you're more deserving than any other person I watch. You are, by far, the most informative and truthful. I truly believe you have big things happening in the near future because you put out such great content.
I've been a subscriber for a few months now and have learned SO MUCH about skincare and makeup from you, but I had to thank you for directing me to Caroline Hirons. I just started watching her channel and she is hilarious!! I laughed out loud several times during her empties videos. Thanks again, keep up the amazing work!
This is one of my favourite channels because of your honesty. I've purchased a few things based on your reviews and discovered some new products. I'll gladly click through your links so you can keep doing what you do!
Not a very big channel? Maybe, but your followers are informed consumers, with little to no drama. They should want to promote a channels like yours since all these companies tout "empowering women".
I love your videos, I just found your Channel recently and I have been going back watching all your videos - they are so informative and I love your honesty. I'm from the east coast as well (now in Midwest) we are around the same age, and I remember partying at u-mass Amherst!! your personality is a true east coaster :) please keep posting, especially your "teaching videos"
Your makeup skills are insane! Love your looks!..... Oh and by the way: there is nothing wrong with making a few bucks from TH-cam! It only becomes a problem when people forget to be honest and completely sell out. You do what you need to do, and continue being honest as you are now, and I feel that people can tell you are being truthful, so they won't abandon you! 😘
I absolutely LOVE YOU and your channel, its so refreshing to hear someone who is informed and intelligent & who isn't willing to sell their soul for some free products ... I truly appreciate your unbiased, thorough reviews.. this is what I've been looking for! !! I also appreciate all the stuff I learn from your videos!! keep up the honest great work, your killing it!! def sharing!
Thanks Stephanie. I appreciate your honesty. Love your eye make up. Gorgeous. I have exorcism and my hubby hates it but I love it. There is a learning curve to putting them on fer sure. Some days It goes on with ease and others it gets messy. I am Cooking for Thanksgiving. I am excited for the holidays. I am crocheting slippers for some of people on my list. My19 year old son just asked me what I wanted for christmas, I will give him a list from Sephora lol. The Blues are normal around holiday time. I wouldnt be surprized it is because you dont live near family. My hubby's family is all over and it is hard to get together and he says the holidays have changed so much. I feel allmof us who feel blue, anxious, or overwealmed just need to take time to acknowledge thse feelings through journeling, talking to someone about, and doing things to make ife easier for ourselves. Have an awesome day. Xx
+Stacy Lamb Ooo whats your favorite dish to make on Thanksgiving? I love cooking! I love eating even more lol. You are completely right, I bet a lot of the blues has to do with being far away from my family during the season. Thanks Stacy!
I love making sweet potatoes with carmelized onions, I love brussel sprouts wth red onion riaste in the ven. Martha stewart has string bean casserole that is sensational, I also make 2 types of cranberry sauce, one cooked on the stove, and kne ike a raw relish, our gravey is always homemade from pan juices, and we always make our own desserts apple and pumkin pie. I always make stuffing the way my mom makes it. I hope you a wonderful holiday.
I have to say that I appreciate you so much here on TH-cam. Thanks you your recommendations my dry skin has improved (belif & seaberry oil 👍🏻). I also want to add that it's so refreshing to watch an intelligent person talk about products and care about the ingredients. I always look forward to your videos. I believe you to be 100% genuine. Stay you 😉
+Brianne Galik YESSSSS! It makes me so happy when people like that dry skin cocktail. Its amazing! Thank you for trying it :) Thank you for your support as well
Also, you would probably really like the new It Cosmetics You Sculpted palette. Same exact idea but the colors are suited to neutral/cool and very wearable.
Ive been binge watching your videos. I love your videos so much that even if I'm not interested in the product you're reviewing I will still watch the video lol!
You are quickly becoming one of my favorite channels, I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers. You are very knowledgeable and I followed a ton of your suggestions for the sephora VIB sale. I think having affiliate links is perfectly fine and now that I know you have them, I'll come to click on your channel to get your link before buying from sephora, beautylish or nordstrom. Hope you have a wonderful day!
I came over from Lauren's channel as she talked about your excellent reviews. I'm looking forward to binge-watching your videos and subscribing. I have no problems with affiliate links but I notice subtle but definitely real differences in the way youtubers review something they were sent for free versus products they actually spent their hard earned money on. "Honest" can mean lots of things.
Cool! Thank you so much! And I will thank her as well ❤️ I agree with you. I honestly would feel like a jerk saying bad things about something I was sent for free. That's why I always buy my own products. Then I feel free to say whatever I want without being a jerk. Good or bad I will just link the products I talk about & show so everyone is always welcome to make up their minds for themselves ❤️
I feel kind of sad that you have to actually explain that you're not selling out. If anyone on youtube hasn't it's you. Especially with all these makeup gurus that are clearly being paid off by certain companies to say nice things. I feel that generally you are very honest about everything you review.
I absolutely love your channel, felt a little tinge in my feelers that ulta denied you. Made me not wana buy from them lol I think you're the most honest &I straight forward youtuber I've come across in the whole beauty community. I love how you break down the whole science part of the products you review. Very informative. You get TWO thumbs up!
I've recently unfollowed lots of folks because of drama. Thanks for your transparency about affiliate links. I'm so sick of the manipulations of the internet and appreciate your honesty.
I'm new to your channel and I just want to say I love your channel so far! Great content. You mentioned the nars concealer being crapey and settling in fine lines under your eyes I too have noticed this! It looks great when first applied but throughout the day it just can make someone look tired! I've noticed other people have said the same thing.
I just ordered the full pack of foiled eyeshadows from Makeup Geek and I didnt know about your link - Im so sad that I didnt know! I am just waiting for them to come as I am in Canada. Darn it!
I love to listen to you talk. It's just so fun!!!!!!!! You can do this kind of video as often as you like because you're interesting!! I'll be using some of your links as soon as a I can because I enjoy helping people who are honest. We don't look anything alike ( I'm coffee with cream color lol) but I've learned so much from you. Thank you! 😊😊😊
+Tinahgirl83 Thanks Tina! I am going to make an effort to be more inclusive of all skin tones. Although I won't be able to say how each color preforms, when I find a formula I like, I will make sure I talk about tones to suit all skin tones. I have been insensitive to that. But good news, skin care is universal :)
I just found your channel. And I'm not a fan of youtuber's doing their makeup or talking about odd thing's. But with you it's different. I love your personality! And your video's. And I have dry skin as well! It's a pain in the ass for me to do my makeup at time's but I do use Neutrogena's dry skin soap. Plus Elizabeth Arden's dry skin cream. It work's wonder's! Especially when you apply your makeup. You can get it at Macy's. :) keep up the good work Stephanie!
Enjoyed this tutorial as I have hooded eyes too! I wish I had the skill to put eyeliner like that I hardly ever wear it because I would look like a racoon:) And I would never stop watching someone's channel/videos because they have affiliate links as long as I feel the person making the videos is being honest. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays, half of my family including myself were born in December. It's wonderful spending it with my family and friends but I do get very sentimental around the holidays. I think it's normal to feel a little blue especially if you're close to your loved ones and they are not near. Have a fantastic day:)
+Lissette Rodriguez You are completely right, I think being away from my family on the holidays makes me sad. Thanks goodness for Facetime or Skype :) Thanks for watching Lissette
Stephanie I 100% know what you mean about the holiday blues you're describing. Thank you so much for talking about it, because everything is so forcefully jolly atm and I feel like I should be happy because I'm exited to visit my family, but I just feel a bit down. The weather in North England is so cold this time of year, so it makes it really hard to get out of bed in the mornings. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. Merry Xmas to you and good luck with your affiliate link endeavours x
My other comment seems to have disappeared. It's perfect timing with the links because I'm about to place a massive MUG order this week. I'm so happy for you that you're able to make some extra money doing this. You are, by far, the most informative and truthful person I watch. I'm glad I've been with you almost from the beginning and will continue to be on the trip. I truly believe some amazing things will begin to happen in the near future for you and your channel because you put out such fantastic content.
PS-thank you for this GRWM! I stress daily during fall and winter because I adore wearing lip colors like this and worry my eyeshadows are too bold. But you put me at ease that I've been doing it correctly.
+lorrie mccormick TH-cam is being super glitchy right now. I keep getting emails I have comments, but then can't find them under the video. They are slowly appearing. Thanks Lorrie
Stephanie I really enjoy watching your videos and appreciate your honesty most bloggers just say nice things because there probably being paid too but your not afraid to criticise.
+Chris Thanks Chris! I have been using Batiste dry shampoo from Ulta, the regular one can be white, but they do have colored ones that will work great on your dark hair :)
Another solid video. No worries about the links. I would absolutely have not one problem using them; you have my support. Your career sounds great. Once again... Keep on keepin' on.
i am so sad it has taken me this long to find your channel, you are amazing and i have watched probably like half your videos already and its only been around 10 days since i found your channel !!
I have been using Herbivore coco rose lip conditioner and I think you will love it, I use it at night and wake up with moist soft lips.. I love it, but the pot package isn't long fingernail friendly. I hope they package in a tube soon! I think you will really like this a lot = so smoothing and lots of softness in the am...
I am loving the Wayne Goss brushes! Beautylish really is a great company, totally agree. I have hooded eyes as well. I appreciate your get ready with me's. The Mac Water Weight is great for mixing. I love the light to med coverage as well.. Glad I've found you. 💃🏻🙏🏾💃🏻
+Stephanie Nicole so do I. Amazing. Just buying a couple at a time, since I initially sprung for the first set he launched. A lot of his eye brushes are great for hooded lids, as you probably already know. 😍
+Giulietta Ciambotti thank you for complimenting my name. I usually go by Gia, the short form. Do you like Wayne's fan brush a lot? I realize that the right brush can be a game changer for application and getting the most out of our products. His #15- loose blush brush is my holy grail for use w highly pigmented blushes. I like a light hand w the blush for me. This brush is perfect for that. Thank you for your time. 💘
Well crap, I just ordered the WG Anniversary Set and the 00 brush last week. Glad to know of the others, though. Nordie's, for sure, but not too much on line. Don't buy a ton from Sephora, but I will def keep in mind. Keep making videos, please! I really learned a lot, epecially from your oils vid. Thanks.
I love watching your honest reviews. A lot of the products I have bought is based on your recommendation. I would have no qualms clicking your links to help out if that means I get to continue watching your videos!
I am so happy for you! You are one of my favorite youtubers. I know I can trust what you say. Even if you were doing sponsored reviews, I know your would only do it if you really loved the product. Congrats for the growth your channel is having!
Stephanie you're the realist!!! I was watching a you tube video about products that didn't work, and she said liquid lipsticks especially were hard for her to find one that worked. So I commented about your channel and how you check out all brands subscribers ask and check ins etc. well not even 5 min later my comment was deleted like it never happened! I thought it was rude and odd she seemed kind and has a pretty big channel so helping another out would seem nice or even to view herself. It seems like you tube has a sort of " make it on your own" kind of attitude. It was just off putting honestly. You are truly in a league of your own so naturally I guess that's threatening 😘👍🏼
+Savannah Sschiano Thanks for recommending me Savannah! It could have been deleted, but it also could be, if you linked my channel, all comments with links go to a SPAM section that the creator needs to approve because TH-cam thinks links are SPAM. So it could be there too :) So don't give up on them just yet :) I don't feel like anything here is a competition, we can all add to this community, we are all different, with different tones, skin types, price ranges, preferences, makeup application etc. Thank you so much for you support
+Stephanie Nicole 😉 very true , it wasn't a link just your name that's why it was so weird but hey no worries! Really enjoying your videos I watch while my daughters asleep or doing housework while she's in school lol you are already a successful women who's kind enough to share your insight and congratulations on your new ventures!!! Say, have you heard of Suva cosmetics and brushes? If you're able would you mind reviewing them? I'm really interested:) be well you're the best always 💋
+Stephanie Nicole lol it was bitchy of her though 😂😂😂 it's fine again you're in a league of your own :)) as far as Suva goes ,my friend showed me their website just type in Suva cosmetics. I believe they have an Instagram as well. It looks like amazing quality :the eyeshadow palettes, and creams and face brushes ( currently sold out) also the eye brushes. They aren't cheap though that's the only set back... However it all looks ideal for a kit or just a makeup lover. Have a great night love , your channel is just great 😘
I seriously can't get enough of your awesomeness! I think the codes are great idea and in no way make me doubt your honesty! When I watch your videos I'm usually playing with makeup lol my Sephora vib sale items came in and I ended up getting the tarte tartlette palette, Burberry luminous fluid base, CLARISONIC Mia 2, fresh seaberry moisturizing face oil, belief moisture bomb (which I'm so excited to try together!!) MUFE face and body foundation (which I hate) Laura mercier face exfoliating face wash ( which I just learned is bad for the environment which is not cool) and kat Von d chula lipstick. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your great videos!
+Karina Martinez Thanks Karina! Oo you got some goodies! Let me know how you like them with use please. Let me know how you like my dry skin cocktail. I love to know. Does that face wash have scrubbing beads in it? Those are made of plastic. Not good for your skin either. Happy holidays to you & your loved ones too
I ordered Bioderma, a Charlotte Tillbury pencil sharpener that's awesome & Koh Gen Do cotton pads. I cannot get over Beautylish's customer service! I got a txt when it was delivered & E mails while it was en route. They are amaze balls! Thanks Stephanie!!
Hi Stephanie, love your videos and your honesty, I would definitely purchase from your affiliate links cause you already told us,I dislike when people hiding things and say : click on the links bellow if you want to buy but never mention that they make a commission . I love Christmas holidays,my Favorite time of the year ,but I live in Brisbane Australia for the last 10 years and here we have Summer and it's hot and humid yuk lol, so doesn't feel quite like Christmas,I will be spending Christmas with my husband but all my family are in Greece -where I am from- so I miss them so much, talking about distance 24 hour flight lol, I just love the holidays, the decorations, the nutmeg and cinnamon but I miss Winter so much..Can I wish for snow????? Lol
+Stephanie Nicole no ski mountains close by.There is snow in south Australia, but it is so far from where I am 😫😫Another year of watching Santa surfing 🏄lol
Wonderful video, I am a newer subbie so I am really enjoying your vids and I love how your honesty just shows! I hope you have a wonderful holiday and congrats to your sis on her baby! For the holidays I am spending it with my family then I'm going to St Louis for a few days to go to a global missions conference! Im super pumped!
+truebeautyforever That sounds awesome! I love the holidays & family time...even if my sister can still make me want to punch her after long visits lol Thanks for understanding
I love watching you. Random question. Is that hangover primer the most moisturizing primer you've ever tried? The more moisture the better for my dehydrated skin.
+Ebru Celikalay Hmmm. Its nice, but I don't know if I would say its the most hydrating. I will have to test some more out. Have you tried the Belif & Seaberry oil? If you use that at night, it should make your skin great for makeup the next day.
Good on you for doing reaching out. I get such great value from your channel and I'm sure many others do too. Why shouldn't you !! Full support & respect !!! Xo
you help out my makeup shopping habits sooo much!! i love watching your videos stephanie. just wanted to show some love. all i got from the vib sale was the sephora brand cottonseed oil and the bareminerals concealer - have you ever tried the peter thomas roth exfoliating gel? everyone's going crazy over it but i'm too nervous to spend 48 on it! lol
+Payton Moore I would skip it. It seems to me its the gel balling up & it appears to be skin. Here is a review I found on that gel from a chemist, as i do not have experience with it. FIRMx Peeling Gel relies on fruit-based enzymes and a novel ingredient known as r-Bacillus licheniformis to peel skin. This ingredient may be a good keratolytic, which is a fancy way of stating that it exfoliates ("peels") keratin, the chief protein in skin, but the only research on this ingredient showing it can do that was on bird feathers (Source: Canadian Journal of Microbiology, March 2005, pages 191-196). So, of course, the next question is: What do bird feathers have to do with our skin? The answer is that the two don't have much in common, so it's a leap of faith to believe that what works to break down feathers will also work to break down dead, dull skin cells! What about the enzymes this contains? Although those can break up and exfoliate dead skin cells, they are difficult to keep stable in a cosmetic formulation; in fact, in most cases, their activity is reduced simply by virtue of how cosmetics are manufactured. In essence, you'll get more reliable results exfoliating with an AHA or BHA product than with products that depend on enzymes. Otherwise, the manner in which this gel exfoliates is more in line with a topical scrub, only in a weird way. The directions say to apply to skin and then massage in a circular motion to "roll, lift, and sweep away dead cells," and then rinse it off just as you would a scrub. You're directed to leave the concoction on longer for "extra enzymatic action," but, as stated above, assuming those ingredients could remain stable, it's better to leave them on skin rather than rinse them off. In the end, this is more of an overpriced scrub than a state-of-the-art way to peel skin. Hope that helps. Let me know how you like the stuff you got!
Omg I got so many of the same things as you. Can't wait to try the Kevyn Aucoin palette, drunk elephant, etc. have you tried the Sephora brand concealer? I ordered one to try. For setting powder I have the dior air loose powder. Wondering if I also need a translucent one like Laura Mercier for 'baking' and brightening. I have tons of amazing eye shadows (guerlain, Dior, lorac ) - should I try MUG? Xoxo love your honesty, thoroughness and just good information!
+darkrose00 I have not tried that concealer yet! Let me know what you think! If you like it, I'll pick it up :) I really like the LM setting powder, its great & no flash back (the under eye brightening powder does have flash back though). Any loose powder really you can use to back, as long as its not reflective aka brightening. Dior is EXPENSIVE to bake with though lol I wouldn't want to loose any of it brushing it off lol. I love MUG eyeshadows, for the cost, pigmentation, they are amazing. They are not going to beat out your super high end for most brands, but I do like them better than even most MAC shadows. The only draw back is you can only get them online, but they do show swatches, which helps. Thanks for watching Rose!
Hey Stephanie your makeup skills are so good and I appreciate all ur recommendations for fair and dry skin! I can relate lol hard for me to find other girls on yt with skin like mine that I actually enjoy watching! I've also invested in the belief moisturizing bomb and the Dennis gross peels thanks to ur recommendation! Both amazing. Planning to get the Dennis gross spf spray too since u recommended it!
+Elisa Ibacache I'm so happy to hear that you are loving them! Next you need to get the Fresh Seaberry oil to mix it in, kicks it up a notch! lol. Thank you for your support :)
Apology if its a stupid queston, but instead of primer can i use a simple moisturizer like a nivea creme? i was wondering because my skin tends easy to break out and nivea cremes never gave me trouble.
+Missphotogenic Baby I have a diva ring light & some umbrella lights, but I would like some barndoor lights to replace the umbrella lights eventually, something like this amzn.to/1Nonjgq. Just over time. I notice I get shadows on my face battling the windows behind me.
+Stephanie Nicole yeah those are what I was talking about, Jaclyn has some big ones by diva and those are just too much money 🙈 like over a thousand lol. But while you save up for that you should try soft box lights, I really love the quality and it's not too bright 😊
Beautimus...Don't worry we know you wouldn't sell us out Steph! OK so I'm getting ready to "invest" in some better brushes now and I want to know what is the one Wayne Goss eye brush you can't live without...#3? xoxox Mary
Loved this video & it made folding four kids laundry more pleasant...thank You! I loved your technique for the outer v & lipstick color is gorgeous! Affiliate links or sponsored videos don't bother me. 😉💜
She's such a beautiful, well spoken, intelligent, Honest woman! I love watching her! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING IT REAL!
+Heidi Medeiros Thanks for understanding Heidi! :)
+Stephanie Nicole your welcome . It only makes sense . Money doesn't grow on trees and people need to understand. You are saving us alot of money with these reviews. Thanks for all you do . I will totally support you with using your links
+Heidi Medeiros All of us have to earn money somehow and in a way using affiliate links is supporting monetarily your youtube channel.
(its like a platform for bloggers/vloggers to get affiliated with many brands and sites all at once through them, its actually really cool!)
AND random but seriously the amount of prep you did on your skin before applying actual foundation I was like woah I need to step my game up asap. hahaha, and now this is officially the longest comment ever!
I like long comments! ;)
You are the gift that keeps on giving!! Love your videos soo much!! :)
+geekNchic
idk why but i just love how you can be a savage sometimes.......Ur one of the few honest makeup artists on TH-cam.
Lots of love!
this is my new favorite channel - Thank You for making such awesome and REAL videos with real opinions and so much info on the products... kudos Toni
Thank you so much, Toni! ❤️
I feel like I learn so much about makeup when I watch your videos.
I know this is an old video but you're my new favorite you tuber. I love your honesty, your realism and the fact you have hooded eyes. You rock!
+VUSTAH Thanks beautiful
I'm in my 30's too and I relate to your channel so much. You're so sweet, informative and down to earth. I'm so happy I found your channel. I've binge watched so many of your videos I feel like we're friends lol! Love love love your channel!
I love how honest you are with the affiliate links. I watch a lot of other makeup videos and I had to stop watching a bunch of popular bloggers because it was basically an infomercial. Sell-outs :X
Rachel Genevieve Exactly!
So glad I found you amongst the rest of the youtube beauty 'gurus'. Your honesty and in-depth reviews are so refreshing! Thank you xxx
Stef, your honesty is appreciated. You are so genuine and down to earth. I don't see anything wrong with having affiliate links, we know you always keep your reviews real, that's what makes your channel so unique
Thanks Samarah. ❤️
never sell out to companies, you don't need too and we need more youtubers like you! i've been looking for a channel like this forever, don't give up and the subscribers will come to you :)
+CkJohnsonPhD
Omg, I have hooded eyes and your tip on putting the colour down with the small detail brush then blending has just changed my eye game, thank you.
I miss your full face talk throughs! They're so relaxing and I learn so much. I've been binge watching your videos for weeks now. I learn something new each time! Thank you for your honest commitment to TH-cam and your viewers.
Just found your channel....obsessed. I am a Sephora addict myself and I love that you have a link and I can also rely on your honest opinions.
I will definitely use your links. I love watching your videos because you give so many details about the products your using and why.
+Shawna Cordes Thanks Shawna!
love these chitchat videos it shows how fabulous you are as a person. we need more honest people like you in TH-cam who talk to us openly and just be who are without trying hard for that. keep going girl you are amazing. love your videos and style
+zainab al shamer
You are so awesome, like seriously. You are hands down the most genuine youtuber I've seen and its so nice to know that we can trust you and that you always keep it real!
+Danielle Pedersen Thank you Danielle!
Go for it. You are one of very few you tubers I trust and I know I will continue to trust you and support you. Thanks for being honest with us 😊
+Rama W
I remember the chokers! I wore them in the mid 90"s when I had my nail salon! Good times and good memories!
+MUA Baybe :)
*ARE very pretty...lol. Siri dictated incorrectly.
I love your GRWM videos. It shows how awesome you are. your personality is genuine and heart warming. Please do more.! keep doing your thing girlie. no hate here. lol.
+Ginger Olaya Thanks Ginger. You're making me blush ;)
No worries girl! I want you to know you have become one of my favs because of your honesty, in depth knowledge of ingredients, similar age lol and all in all beauty inside and out. 💋 I wouldn't hesitate to try something that you've reviewed because I trust your opinion. ❤
+Trina Koval
I love that she's very different than other makeup youtubers. Very genuine, informed, honest and not extra (not that extra's bad it's just very common).
Perfect timing with the links, I'm about to place a massive order with MUG. I'm so happy you're able to make some extra money doing this because you're more deserving than any other person I watch. You are, by far, the most informative and truthful. I truly believe you have big things happening in the near future because you put out such great content.
+lorrie mccormick Thank you Lorrie
LOVE HOW REAL YOU ARE AND YOU ALWAYS KEEP IT 💯. THANK YOU FOR THAT!
+La MakeUp Chica
I've been a subscriber for a few months now and have learned SO MUCH about skincare and makeup from you, but I had to thank you for directing me to Caroline Hirons. I just started watching her channel and she is hilarious!! I laughed out loud several times during her empties videos. Thanks again, keep up the amazing work!
This is one of my favourite channels because of your honesty. I've purchased a few things based on your reviews and discovered some new products. I'll gladly click through your links so you can keep doing what you do!
+Jen H Thanks Jen. I appreciate it. Never any pressure though. Even just watching me is supporting me. I appreciate it.
+Susana Garcia Cantu Thanks Susana! I appreciate that :)
+Stacy Lamb Thanks! Now I'm drooling. That all sounds AMAZING!
Sam P me too
You are quickly becoming one of my favorite channels, I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers.
+MakeupNewb Thank you so much for understanding
Rachel Morales *cough cough* gerard cosmetics
+Roxanne Baker Glad I'm not the only one! I didn't notice it at first, but lately it been bad. Maybe the weather change is adding to it
No worries about the affiliate links, as long as you keep your integrity I would happily support your channel!
+Elizabeth Knode Thanks for understanding Elizabeth!
Can't find a full review on the nivea after shave balm from Stephanie Nicole, curious what her opinion is.
Now that I just witnessed the love you have for your dog, I like you even more!
Girl damn that's a lot of priming!! Lmao love the look
The affiliate links don't bother me because your honest about all products. What dry shampoo do you use?
+Chris Thanks Chris! I have been using Batiste dry shampoo from Ulta, the regular one can be white, but they do have colored ones that will work great on your dark hair :)
Another solid video. No worries about the links. I would absolutely have not one problem using them; you have my support. Your career sounds great. Once again... Keep on keepin' on.
i am so sad it has taken me this long to find your channel, you are amazing and i have watched probably like half your videos already and its only been around 10 days since i found your channel !!
+Michelle's makeup addiction Thanks Michelle! Happy to have you here :)
just found your channel, and i love your personality! Thanks for sharing!
Subscribed can't wait to see more!
Thank you so much Alexiss! ❤️
Thank you! I want all of his brushes! Little baby steps at a time. Thanks for watching Giulietta!
Thanks.
+Cathi Clark Thanks Cathi! I LOVE the anniversary set! Hope you do too!
Omg I love IT cosmetic contour pallet, I'm very fair and it's perfect. Enjoying your videos!
You're opinions matter now with your platform, growing audience, and your so educational !
Love your channel. I have been watching your videos for the past two weeks non stop.
alright I know this isn't a recent video, but I've been going back and looking at them. I gotta say I died when you apologized to your blush.
love your honesty!
+Savannah Sschiano Aw that bitch then! lol TOTALLY kidding lol. I have not heard of them, but I will look into them. Where do I find it?
Happy holidays to you & your loved ones too
Ditto to what Karina said!! Prefect it girl!
+Kristen clausing
Yee haw I was going to put in an order on Beautylish yesterday!!! I'll wait now. Always willing to support an honest u tuber!!
+Kristen clausing Thanks Kristen! I appreciate your support
Lol
+Carol T Beauty Inspirations Must be so crazy having a warm Dec & a cold July lol. What a beautiful place to live in though
I will def support you when I'm ready to buy again... the VIB Rouge sale killed me but I def will in the future! ♡ your channel
+Jamie Manning It killed me too! lol. Damn them! lol Thanks for understanding :)
Try Glossier's Priming Moisturizer! It's buildable and very kind to my extremely dry and sensitive skin.
+Stephanie Nicole damn thank you so much!! Time to find a decent exfoliator. ❤️❤️
I love listening to you. I find you admirable, extremely intelligent and fun. So glad I came across your channel!
Apology if its a stupid queston, but instead of primer can i use a simple moisturizer like a nivea creme? i was wondering because my skin tends easy to break out and nivea cremes never gave me trouble.
love your channel, and how detailed you are!
+Michele Neff Thanks Michelle!

Oh girl lights are not that expensive unless you want the diva ones, I got mine for under $100 on Amazon and I use soft box lights.
OK so I'm getting ready to "invest" in some better brushes now and I want to know what is the one Wayne Goss eye brush you can't live without...#3? xoxox Mary
