Stephanie Nicole the best eyeliner that doesn't skip and you don't have to wash s brush for that I've used is Bourgeois clubbing eyeliner in carbon black. The brush is tiny, it's a liquid in lovely black shades, lasts and isn't a nightmare to remove! Also I have hooded eyes and I think if you had angled the wing a little higher it would have looked better - a more lifted eye look, also if you did a thicker eye pencil under the eyes in brown from the iris to the wing the eyes would appear larger and wider!
I dont have hooded eyes but this was still very helpful and I picked up a few things - and am willing to give wings a go again... when i dont have to go any where but the shower lol. Thanks for your thoroughness it makes all the difference - if you already know some think you can skip but if you want a refresser you can watch! I fell that you are more trust worthy because you work in the professional beauty industry behind the scenes and not just as a make up artist. Its fantastic how you do cost analistis of pallets breaking it down to grms of eye shodows and individual costs ect Thank you for ALL the info you provide us!!

I am horrible at eyeliner. I don’t have hooded eyelids but rather a very curved eyelid. I’m also horrible at lashes so I just purchased some magnetic lashes. I’m hoping they solve at least this issue for me because I love a full glam look
I personally do not have hooded eyes, but every time I do winged eyeliner I struggle to make them symmetrical! I love love love your idea of using the white eyeliner to guide the wing! This is so genius! Never heard that too before thank you Stephanie!!!

The brush you use to highlight your inner corner and your brow bone is the same brush I use for eyeliner. Because my eyes are really hooded I almost never bother with drawing a big wing or anything. Instead what I do is I line my eyes, making the line thicker at the end and then I go out with it a little bit. I make sure that the top line is crisp and then using a cotton pad with some micelar water (that's also what I use to remove my make-up) I clean the bottom line just following my eyebrow (for me that works). I get the tiniest wing, but it does help my eyes look less droopy. Also the line isn't too thick or too thin (but that depends on how hooded your eye is). And what I use for eyeliner is a sephora black shadow that I wet with some setting spray and it only transfers if I cry or rub my eyes, otherwise it stays in place.
I have hooded eyes and I love make up, so thank you for showing us your trick :) I love your lipstick reviews and you sharing your business knowledge :) I always knew that you can find good make up without someone's name on it much cheaper and everyone just always seems to think that just cause there's a name on it, it's better than anything else. Hey Stephanie, just wondering if you have tried the Surratt eye lash curler. I tried the Shu Umera one and found it pinched me (I am not the best with eye lash curlers to be fair). I was watching Tati review something and she mentioned her favourite one is the Surratt one so I got that one and I love it. So good and I thought much better than the Shu Umera one so I just wondered if you had tried that because I think you might like it.

Nail polish tip - if you are right handed, paint your right hand nails first, then paint using your dominant hand, take your time and use thin coats to aid drying

Best shape for all eyes that works for me when doing it on clients, is following the lower lashline because it naturally flicks up, and connecting it straight to the upper when the eye is open. That way you don't end up with a fish hook instead of wing 😬... You might get a slight curve when the eye is closed , but that doesn't really matter

I rarely do wings, mainly only when I'm playing with makeup, but my fav liner brush is actually a paint brush, it's a thicker brush and almost always gives a very clean line. I also have a brush from morphe, I got it on sale so it might be discontinued, but it's soo tiny
Hi Stephanie, I’m sure you are very busy but I hope you can try and answer my question because I am debating on throwing some products away after seeing one ingredient that I don’t like “ DIMETHICONE” but I just wanted to be very sure and run this by a pro. The line is called collagenisis by skinn. I was given this by someone whom I told I would not put garbage on my skin and to please just get me a gift card but he let his sister order this for me anyway. Am I wrong in feeling like this line is total HSN garbage? I currently use the drunk elephant line and some retinol thanks

I'm late but I have bad hooded eyes (even though I'm 19) and I like to sort of start my wing further out of that makes sense? I make it so my wing starts after the hood. It ends up making the look more young but allows me to actually have a wing lol

Could you please do a brow stencil tutorial on how to get the same height. I have such light, non- existent brow hairs and so with nothing to start with, it makes it difficult to get the stencils looking the same!! Very damn close to getting the micro-blading done! The Inglot amc gel eyeliners are either a lifesaver or just don't perform! On me they never ever budge and are a holy grail product! But on my friend, also with hooded eyes, they don't stay put. I guess it's because her eyelids are oilier than mine, cos the rest is the same ;)

for in japan shiseido lash curler is in the higher rank than shueumura. for me they both work so well

Great tips for sure. I do like to set my gel with a black eyeshadow to help prevent the transfer as well.

So good and I thought much better than the Shu Umera one so I just wondered if you had tried that because I think you might like it.
I’ve been watching your videos for years. I have hooded as well as wide-set eyes and like the look a lot. I do like a more dramatic wing though. Any tips for us girls who want to go that route?

My favourite look is a winged eyeliner and red lip. I have hooded eyes. I will be needing eye work in the future :(
Nail polish tip - if you are right handed, paint your right hand nails first, then paint using your dominant hand, take your time and use thin coats to aid drying

Best shape for all eyes that works for me when doing it on clients, is following the lower lashline because it naturally flicks up, and connecting it straight to the upper when the eye is open. That way you don't end up with a fish hook instead of wing 😬... You might get a slight curve when the eye is closed , but that doesn't really matter

I rarely do wings, mainly only when I'm playing with makeup, but my fav liner brush is actually a paint brush, it's a thicker brush and almost always gives a very clean line. I also have a brush from morphe, I got it on sale so it might be discontinued, but it's soo tiny
Hi Stephanie, I’m sure you are very busy but I hope you can try and answer my question because I am debating on throwing some products away after seeing one ingredient that I don’t like “ DIMETHICONE” but I just wanted to be very sure and run this by a pro. The line is called collagenisis by skinn. I was given this by someone whom I told I would not put garbage on my skin and to please just get me a gift card but he let his sister order this for me anyway. Am I wrong in feeling like this line is total HSN garbage? I currently use the drunk elephant line and some retinol thanks

Great video thank you. I struggle with winged eyeliner. I have deep set eyes but still don't have loads of eye lid space so a thick wing doesn't suit me either. By the way I think hooded eyes are gorgeous and Nicole you are very skilled at show casing them. 😀

I'm late but I have bad hooded eyes (even though I'm 19) and I like to sort of start my wing further out of that makes sense? I make it so my wing starts after the hood. It ends up making the look more young but allows me to actually have a wing lol

Could you please do a brow stencil tutorial on how to get the same height. I have such light, non- existent brow hairs and so with nothing to start with, it makes it difficult to get the stencils looking the same!! Very damn close to getting the micro-blading done! The Inglot amc gel eyeliners are either a lifesaver or just don't perform! On me they never ever budge and are a holy grail product! But on my friend, also with hooded eyes, they don't stay put. I guess it's because her eyelids are oilier than mine, cos the rest is the same ;)
