I've had all the latest trucks so I can say the TRX and Raptor were my favs. around 16mpg in the raptor which isn't bad considering. I'm getting 24mpg in my 22 GMC 1500 Denali Duramax now.
It's a hard one, raptor has the suspension travel and best overall off road suspension. The independent suspension and 50/50 weight distribution with the battery pack make the lightning a great ride as well. The lightning shows its weight slightly when cornering it's a softy. They are both amazing it just depends on the type of driving you do and what are you using the truck for.
Beware, this truck is terrible. 4wd stopped working at 3k miles, I got stuck in an inch of snow in a parking lot where rwd sedans could make it, now the top right speaker on the roof was leaking when it rained. What a joke
Wow that's the first I've heard from any raptor owner, you have a gen 3 raptor? What was the issue with 4wd when you brought it to Ford for the fix? I no longer own this truck but I know plenty of guys that drive them hard with well over 100k on them.
Nice review, how much mpg do you get? I am thinking of getting one too but not sure if it will be practical as a daily driver

Raptor vs lightning-- which would you say had better riding comfort on the road?

Have you needed shock replacements? I had my right rear replaced and now I’m thinking the front right needs replacement as well….
I never had an issue but have heard of a few other owners replacing them due to squeaks, and noises.
