- Once again, I’m alive, been a while since I did this kinda video. With the new Fire Emblem game out, I wanted to do so once more, since these are the main videos people know me for nowadays.
For this series I skipped one of the Alear forms to avoid showing the same, or similar convo twice. Due to the fact the supports seem to be the same for both Alears, I’m not going to film fem Alear.
Because this is a more traditional FE game, we have three supports per unit. We also have the equivalent of an S support but only for Alear and the other units. I filmed the S Pact Ring supports in advance so Alear’s will come last.

Louis actually has supports with every character, the other character's just aren't aware of it.
Hands down one of the best characters in this game. The VA did a phenomenal job in bringing him to life.
Fun fact: Louis' English VA and Diamant's Japanese VA are the voices of Paul von Oberstein in Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Raikou Shimizu in Nabari no Ou, who are similar to Hubert from Three Houses and Yen'fay from Awakening, respectively.

The voice actor of Louis is absolutely incredible. 5:54 shows so much detail and compassion that a lot of characters in this game don’t share in their delivery.
That first support with Saphir hit me like a ton of bricks. It's that kind of support that makes a character truly endearing.

I like this part. Louis (well, the writers to be fair) understand what's good about slice of life stories.
At first I didn't really like Louis, I thought he was a bit of a weirdo. But listening to all his supports he genuinely seems like a lovely calm person who genuinely cares about making people smile. I definitely like him a lot more now
Because Louis is genuinely a caring person than just wanted to see his friends are doing well even when he get burned sometimes a bit by trying it 😂

Man, they censored the Louis/Clanne supports into the DIRT.
In the Japanese version, the reason why Louis is flabbergasted throughout the supports is because he convinced himself Alfred was actually having a perverted fling with Clanne. And not "working out." It's a MASSIVE misunderstanding on Louis's part and he practically begins to ship the two and makes himself accept their relationship. It's why Louis is so expressive with everything going on. He even finds himself questioning his own sexuality in the B Support, lmao.
And the A Support? He's convinced that Alfred and Clanne are going to tussle and "work out" with even more men after an amenable break-up. The whole thing is a hilarious trainwreck and I'm sad they ruined it.

Well, with this background, the support makes more sense, and you can still read a lot of that into it, in my opinion.

I'm sure Louis' design and personality is meant to be blase and endearing but he gave me hardcore Gin Ichimaru vibes the entire game. Dude is way too unbothered.
In my head canon, he's the hidden villain.
