I mean that's how it started - surrounded by enemies on all sides, the ancestors of Dawi Zarr dug in for a siege - and in the depths on Uzgulak found an entity of shadow and flame who offered them a dark pact.

It is weird, the curse of stone wasn't so much a curse as Hashut's gift reacting negatively to the physiology that the old ones gave the Dwarfs in the first place.
So Thorgrim Grudgebearer and Thorek Ironbrow showed up on the Throne of power and _the_ anvil of doom respectively. However Ungrim Ironfist Slayer KING couldn’t be assed to show up? Not to mention the Grudge of Grudges the darkest hour of the Karaz Ankor and Grombrindal is nowhere to be seen. I mean I understand that Belegar Ironhammer has his own problems but you think the rest could be bothered to show up.
Sad thing is, Zatan the Black meets Ungrim pretty early in the campaign. And he's usually wiped out before hand. That's why he doesn't show up, cause he's dead.

Nope the chaos dwarfs are mostly balanced and the normal dwarfs mostly lack mobility but the real problem of that faction is just that they are boring being mostly the same since WH1. Decent faction army roster wise.
Their hatred of the Dawi-Zharr goes far, FAAAAAR deeper than that of the Elves and Undead. Speak with a Dwarf about Elves and he'll go on rants about how the stupid elgi are all untrustworthy pansy schemers. Talk with them about Undead, and they'll be pretty pissed and grumble about taking back the Silver Pinnacle. But the Dawi-Zharr? They pretend they don't exist to outsiders. Outsiders that mention them run the risk of getting killed on the spot. Felix made the mistake of mentioning them once in a tavern in Karaz-A-Karak and the entire inn fell deadly silent, with every Dwarf fumingly glaring at him and Gotrek telling Felix that he should shut up now or he will be killed. The Dawi-Zharr don't even have an entry in the Dammaz Kron. That's how much they hate them. The concept of a Civil War is totally alien to their psyche (hence why it was not that hard for Malekith to convince the Dwarfs that the High Elves had betrayed their treaty) and the Dawi-Zharr are something that by their logic could not possibly exist.
Finally! I've been looking for this, but everyone just seems to want to do IE instead of CR. Great Job, although I've noticed you're missing "The Sacrifice" cinematic.

I liked this one better than Zhatan the Black's ending scene. I only know Ghorth the Cruel is a big deal from watching videos on TH-cam. When you win as Zhatan she says that Zhatan served his boss Ghorth the Cruel well and is planning on making even more sacrifices... In this campaign, Ghorth doesn't even get a unique character model. He's just a basic overseer with a different name. I already confederated his entire 3 settlement faction. Zhatan didn't work for Ghorth by the time the cinematic played, he worked for me. I mean really, I just spent an entire campaign strong arming the whole world with a badass Chaos Dwarf. Zhatan was the KING of the Chaos Dwarfs by the time we fought that battle and I owned over 25% of the map. They could have at least gave him a cutscene talking about how he was the boss now, not how he was employee of the month. 🙄

The Dawi-zar and the Chaos host were decimated at the cost of a few hundred Dwarfen lives. Its a good read, Ironbreakers facing off against Immortals
No it's not canon, warhammer total war games are not canon in any shape or form. There are books that are canon but the games aren't, aside from vermintide of course

No it's not canon, warhammer total war games are not canon in any shape or form. There are books that are canon but the games aren't, aside from vermintide of course

@@Ferzen I mean for dropping quite a negative view that calls out their business practices directly, calls into question where the money is going, and indirectly advocated people not by it by saying it is not worth it and that this is the thin end of a wedge. I totally agree with your points, just pointing out, corporations don't tolerate decent from reviewers very much.
