I own a Blunderbuss for home defense, since that's what Chaos intended. Four gnoblars break into my house (By Hashut!) As I grab my giant hat and thunder stick. Blow a skaven sized hole through the first gnob, it's dead on the spot. Draw my second blunderbuss on the second gnob, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails grimgor's squiggoth. I have to resort to the hellcannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with warpstone, "Tally ho lads!!!" the warp stone shreds two gnoblars in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel awaken lord kroak. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on nobody, since goblars are impossible to stitch up. Just as the Hashut intended...

-Flying your caster on their mount to cast some spells
-look away from caster to deal with some micro things
-forget about caster for a few seconds
-stuffs going bad but you remember you have a caster with some sick spells.
- Caster is no longer on the unit bar.
"GOD DAMNIT HE WOULD HAVE REACHED LEVEL 20 AFTER THIS BATTLE!"

AI ranged units are brutal now. They're just hell-bent on focus firing your squishy casters

I feel like that one terra sentinel from Cathay that has the reflect ability would be hilarious going against this stack
Giving that his reflect ability has awful range ... I'd say he'll be dead before even engaging his reflect.
If i remember correctly, it has basically "all who are in melee with me" range (35 metres) while blunderbusses outrange that (yeah, they are short-ranged but still RANGED unit).

It’s 55 meters on a 45 speed giant. Bb have 90 meters of range. That gives about two-five seconds (each chorf volley iirc is ten seconds) from when it enters blunderbus range till reflection kicks in. I don’t doubt for a second that it would get slaughtered eventually but it’s a coin toss if half of the blunderbuss stack obliterates themselves.
99% of casualties were because of friendly fire, not enemy contact

Yeah you truly don't know how to utilize terrain and sightlines properly if you think this. Also you might not be toggling off skirmish mode.

@@Criesto137 Line of sight is bugged for guns right now. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I've been playing this game since the first installment, they don't work properly right now

Would have been perfect if you had included the Gimli line "THAT STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE" after you shot down that last Caathay statue dude (i forget their name), but shop some fangs onto him.
Even better, same line after the warsphinx since they have riders so it is more like the oliphants from LoTR.

Fortunately, projectile reflection has to be cast on the shooter, not a unit that you want to protect. (Otherwise Cathay would be OP against ranged armies).

Reminds me of that one LOTW video where he got sent in a stack of Ironbelchers with 4.8k missile damage each. One cast of missile mirror and one of them one shot itself. Funny af.

This is basically turning a fantasy game into a modern real life game. Thus is basically how it'd go for any medieval army facing a modern army.
And the best part of this video was the massive hats in the final battle. It was even better than the waves of gunfire in the first battle.
