Hey guys just wanted to update everyone, 1TenthScaleRC doesn’t have a SOA mount in metal for this thing yet, Redcat changed the axle design for the Fusion and the one listed on the website from 1Tenth will NOT fit the Fusion Ascent, only the regular Ascent. Project sort of on hold until they come out with one unless I find a metal mount somewhere else

I've been devoting my time to designing my competition Scale-1 chassis set (4 variants: leaf or link rear, SWB option for each) and its been a time intensive process! As a stop gap, I might try to get some better and clear photos up on the site for this overhaul, to help make installation a bit easier. I'll try to get that done today.

I do not have a 3d printer- would you be able to print this out for me? This will be my 1st Rc and 1st RC crawler. Thanks for this video. Thanks for the great explanation of the process.
I couldn’t say, had to order a metal servo tray because the printed one didn’t last. They are plastic though, but crawlers are pretty low stock torque.
Just question but why not just flip the OEM motor mount right up and add 1 washer on each top side mounting bolt hole where it attachs on the frame. I have a few pics it works. Just need to reverse the motor rotation.
I didn’t come up with this solution so I can’t answer that. It was very easy to replace this motor mount either way, but if you don’t have a printer then that may be an ideal solution
@@VS666 I print 1 in the same material he use but it feels like a lot of flex in it right on the legs that mount to the frame brackets. Would you be interested in printing me one out of the carbon fiber like you did?
Mine is on capra axles right now. Getting triangulation down with some prints but the thing is a monster. Scx10 2 low transmission and stock electronics.

I reached to those guys yesterday for update. There reply was a negative on the mount. 😢

Just ordered my truck yesterday. Be a couple weeks getting to Aus. The plan is to try this. But it is my first serious crawler.

@@darrylpaarman9100 take the OEM motor mount and flip it and rotate 180 put a washer in between the motor mount and frame mount on the top bolts only.
