I've been building my best ever wish list for the TRX4M. You did it! The tour of the bolder was mind blowing. Makes the other crawler videos look basic. My only question now is would you consider using the Treal front portal axles instead?
If they were available when I originally pieced this together then yes most likely but the performance difference between the Injora and Treal portals is not worth it if you've already purchased the Injora...we're talking about a 1 or 2 mm ground clearance difference and possibly some compatibility issues when combining two companies and aftermarket parts
Injora makes a chassis for the defender and bronco separately, is there a preference? Didn't look like a lot of difference. Cheers! Sick build and video!
I made something similar, except no Traxxas parts yet (I ordered some meus trx4m axles to try). I'd recommend a individual control knob for the rear axle. I think there is an avatar transmitter that has this knob now. I use a gt5 with a knob addition ($76 total).
Yeah unfortunately they came out with that remote right after I bought mine that would be really handy I do want to upgrade the ESC though this one as quite a bit of stuttering and brownouts
@@VS666 Have you updated the firmware? You have a lizard pro right? You might also try direct servo connection because I'd imagine the brownouts are from BEC
I would compare the minimum height you can achieve from both and if they're the same then go 59mm, you don't want a ton of articulation in the front or else the truck will tip over backwards when it unloads on steep angles
How are you running an aftermarket ESC with stock battery? I'm messing with my 4m now and was thinking about just trying to find a comparable sized 3s but stock would be cool
Don't think that didn't go unnoticed when I was editing the video I did a big palm face sigh, it's been corrected honestly car didn't really perform any different though
I got 2 sets of driveshafts from injora and both front driveshafts couldn’t be put together In Phase. Imma just cut down the spare rear to fit the front since that one is fine. Eventually I plan to try the meus driveshafts
Custom in Oregon; One TRX4m rear housing with skulls and bones is $850. Brass with lockers. You’ll need a TQi radio and some parts from a TRX4. I’m sure there’s better yet…. No expense spared is a phrase. It’s not quite catfishin’ but he got you to watch and that’s all he wanted. Even if you gave a thumbs down, it still promotes. He can’t lose. And with us Liking and commenting as such, well, AI wants us down just this so it to will promote the video. If you really don’t like something, stop watching asap
New Furitek Python Pro on pre-order! 8.4v for the servos and no more cutting out when you steer quickly!
NASA called they want their rover back 😂. This thing was defying physics on that rock lol
seriously it's hard to show how steep that was haha
That looks mad freaky with 4WS! Really seems to crawl wel though. Nice build!
cool build and crawling, enjoyed watching video on this cool spot 👌🤠
It came out great. Awesome rig!
That is a sick little rig!
awesome build!
That’s sweet I just need to do 4 wheel steering next

Very nice 😎
Thanks Mike!
hey man you should really adjust shock placement. when i built mine it completely changed how the truck performed. Awesome build.
What spots do you recommend?
@@VS666 I put mine close to the inside of the truck, and the hight is all about where you want the truck to sit.
That rig is beautiful bro. Body on has to be amazing. Awaiting for my 2in1 esc. Then is on. Lol.
thanks my man! yeah the body fits well but when you crawl some wicked terrain it rubs obviously
Sweet man 💪

the bronco is a lower cg chassis than the defender I believe, you can see the difference in the design. thanks my man appreciate it
That price seems wild for $800 I have one very similar build but LDS and the furitek comp chassis

What’s your thought on 53mm vs 59mm Injora shocks . Can’t decide which to get

the stinger system has a 3d printed battery connector to run the stock traxxas battery
Do these tires tire roll much at all please because i got tires on mine but thay roll to much when turning and on side hills and i lose steering
Not that I really noticed, they were not vented in this video but I did end up venting the tires later on so they probably do now
OK thank you and could you please possibly send me a link to the tires please mate
how'd you do the rear steer mod
furitek esc, TX/RX, put a front axle and steering components including a servo on the back
All that work for your driveshafts to be out of phase. Sick build though.
Don't think that didn't go unnoticed when I was editing the video I did a big palm face sigh, it's been corrected honestly car didn't really perform any different though

Where can you see the shafts not phasing? How did you remedy or fix the issue?
My stock High Chevy TRX4m would do the same thing
At this point just buy the battery holder from traxxas...
No expense spared? Ummmm injora is a budget brand dude.....try packing the vitavon gear on it. Axles alone are 300.....like my one😊
No expense spared implies no stock parts were left, Vitavon makes nice parts but I don’t see the value for a small scale crawler
