The Caudabe Sheath is personally the best case I've ever owned hands down. Excellent protection (I dropped my phone at least 5 times and not one mark on the phone). I also like the minimalistic yet elegant look (not too flashy). Most important of all - NO FINGER PRINTS whatsoever!!!. This time I will be looking at the Synthesis since I hear it is slimmer and has a tighter fit. They only thing I wish they would have done is to include the lining on the inside as they did with the Sheath.
Love that they got rid of that melting wart on the camera but I wish they would’ve kept the back soft and flexible like last years model and the sheath. I would’ve bought this one too but I liked the sheath because it was comfortable and not a hard shell case. That divide from the soft shell to hardshell is an eyesore as well
I had a sheath as one of my two main cases on my 13 mini since its release. One aspect of the Sheath that doesn’t get enough love is the longevity. Maybe the only case I’ve ever had that looks indistinguishable after 3 years of heavy intermittent use, as the Dayi opened it. My one complaint about that case I’ve owned is that the grey color way just looked, extra DRAB. Seems like maybe they’ve lightened up to match the Titanium line. Color variation and vibrancy is the major growth path for Caudabe. Just saw the bright blood orange red tone for the 16 case, and that’s the right direction. Anyway, nice video. I think I’m coming back to the sheath again for my 15 Pro.

Is the sheath compatible with a full screen protector with black edges? I love the caudabe sheath case but I’m afraid it could lift my screen protector! Thank you!

Been rocking a super slim case and love how it makes the phone feel. But offers zero drop protection.. So my question is which one of theese two are the slimmest and follows the curviness of the 15 PM most?
I like a case with beveled or rounded edges Is the Sheath boxy or does it have beveled rounded edges? Also I realize that the Synthesis has the matrix grip. But is the grip on the Synthesis that much better than the Sheath?
I would say overall the grip on the sheath is stronger than the Synthesis, eve with the matrix grip. The texture on the Sheath stands out more. In terms of box-ey vs rounded, the Sheath doesn't have sharp edges and they are slightly rounded, but it is a more of a flat shape specifically on the sides, less rounded.
Hey Chris, (awesome review by the way! ) I have a question which many people might overlook, but I am concerned with the tightness and flex of the case, more specifically the synthesis. The areas near the top, bottom, and buttons of the phone; does the side of the case flex outwards with minimal force or does it maintain a rigid structure all the way? I used to have a speck case that would flex and bow overtime near the volume and power switch, which was incredibly annoying. I liked how apple's silicone cases had a plastic lining surrounding the case which helped it maintain the rigidity. Thanks!!
Daniel, great question, I've used speck cases like that before too. While there is some give on the Sheath, it is more rigid than the Apple silicone or Speck cases. The synthesis is even more rigid, but they do have a little give. I be sure to show that more in future videos.
Last years synthesis model had a taller lip around the camera than this years model. This year it seems it’s even with the sheath but that wasn’t the case last year. Still two fantastic cases
They are both very close in terms of the amount of lip around the camera and front screen, but overall I would say the Synthesis provides more protection.

Would strongly recommend against buying from Caudabe. They accepted preorders, then proceeded to ignore them for over a month. No shipping updates or email responses. It might be a decent case but you likely won’t have it in your hands for months. They could just stop accepting orders so they can fulfill current ones, but no. Shocking customer service.

They took great care of me as a customer during this high demand time. They even offered a free case to try out the action button cover to compare it to the cutout. I have never had issues with Caudabe customer service and I stand by them wholeheartedly

@@pedrogriffin1934 it's some sort of rubber polymer so no. I'd be more worried about aramid only cases or the ones that have metal buttons.
