MagBak is by far the best case I’ve found and I’ve had it on my last 3 iPhone models. Not only is the MagSafe strength impressive, but the case also has built-in magnets so you can stick your phone to anything metal. The strength of this case to metal is unreal. Perfect for working on cars, using on gym equipment, or if you work in a factory where pretty much everything is metal. You can mount your phone practically anywhere and never have to worry about it falling off. I’ll never own another case! Great video!
My only gripe with my synthesis is that the buttons are incredibly stiff. I really like the garnet sheath because they really improved the buttons from when the she first came out back last September and for me it is just more comfortable to use because the buttons are so much easier to click.
Id have to agree to this after using both the sheath and synthesis, after they revised the sheath the buttons feel way clickier and more responsive than the synthesis and because it has an equal amount of grip all around the case and a cleaner back design it is the number 1 case for me personally, great video and its nice to have different opinions and i respect yours Brian, cheers!
The buttons were actually better for me on the synthesis than the sheath, since both were fixed. But both cases are so good, can’t fault you for choosing the sheath. It was my #1 in my last top 10 video.
The synthesis is actually a little slimmer than the sheath, if you measure it. But the sheath is excellent either way. It was my number 1 last time around.
I’ve got the the rebel air 2 in blue for my 15 max and I absolutely love it. It feels great, and it feels durable and it’s really hard to take off of your phone
I’ve seen Caudabe cases on so many top 10 lists but they also fail every drop test they are subjected to in terms of preventing damage to the phone. I feel like the only thing that should matter in a case is durability unless you plan to stare at the case more than the screen.
i tried many case an for me the caseology cases were the best. The Athlex and nano pop, great protection and design. i guess a lot in this race is personal taste too. The bullstrap contemporary ..this could be one of my favorite in the future. Maybe i get one.
Love the video, all excellent cases On a side note in regards to the Phone Rebel Gen5 I actually did do an alteration to my case by using a sanding file to cut the bottom charging port a little more wider for the thicker head cables. Now my thunderbolt cable and a few of my anker cables fit so much smoother. Considering that the Phone Rebels don’t have a warranty besides the 30 day return I figured I love the case but I fixed the issue it had. I would honestly recommend doing that alteration if you are fine with it, the proper amount of space needed would be cutting only to the halfway point of the iPhone screws at the bottom.
Made me finally pull the trigger on a Caudabe Synthesis lol. Do you notice if the Synthesis has a higher screen and camera lip compared to the Sheath, or are they the same?
The MagSafe strength on the Mous Limitless varies by the material. I had the leather, walnut and blue fabric one and the fabric one is just much better. Also thanks for adding chapters 👌
Brian I just ordered the sheath 😭 Can you tell me things to consider in deciding between the sheath or synthesis? I kind of like the aesthetic of the sheath more, but now you’re giving me second thoughts! Is there a difference in bulkiness? Does one show fingerprints more than the other (I have sweaty hands so I’m not sure if one will handle that better)? Should I just ride with the sheath and see if I want to return it? HELPPPP
The Synthesis is a bit thinner than the Sheath. The synthesis has better grip on the sides, but the sheath has better grip on the back. They both don't really show fingerprints too much, especially the sheath since the back is a bit rigid. You can't go wrong with the sheath. It was my #1 case on my previous top 10. Both cases are the 2 best cases out on the market for the iPhone, in my opinion. I hope that helps!
@@Brians_tech Thanks for the response! I think I'll stick with the sheath since I prefer the look of it to the synthesis (that line goes so hard for some reason lol), plus I heard the synthesis is more of a hard shell and I think I'd prefer the more flexible shell of the sheath. Thanks again!
I wish they made a combo. I want the Sheath with the side grips on synthesis. Also, the microfiber inside screams luxury! I have both, but my only gripe with synthesis is that when I’m sitting on the toilet I hold the back of the phone. I dropped the synthesis on the nasty floor because of the slick back of case 😮. So, think about where you grip the phone in that position 😂
This video made me subscribe, great list of cases, my personal choice is the arc pulse, however the ESR Cloud or Clear case with the kickstand is also a great case that didn’t make this list, i think the price and value is amazing for that case
first year using my iphone caseless but deffo going back when the 16 pro comes out. since apple discontinued their leather cases, my top pick has the be the Grams 28 case
@@Brians_tech using it caseless has been just fine but thats mostly cuz i baby my tech. i like the andar cases but theres something i like about the grams 28 case more as far as cosmetics go, i like the snowflake leather they are using and their minimalist embossed branding a the bottom.
Actually if you did your home work with the arc pulse it does protect it from side drops and bottom drops as someone who drops there phone more then id like to admit I can confirm it does everything you said it doesn’t
@@Brians_tech again yes it does protect against that literally the only thing damaged on mine is the case itself. Now idk if you’re banging it against a door or something but yes it does
Dont know if its just me, but used the Caudabe Sheath on the iphone 13 pro max for 6 months and it scratched the edges. don't normally take the case out of my phone, is that normal?
They wouldn’t even be in the honorable mentions. Especially not the modern leather or the rugged. So many better leather and rugged style cases out there.
@Paa375 yep. I also don’t like how hard the edges of their case are. I like a leather case to be leather all around. The bottom of the nomad leather case digs into your pinky so hard if you hold your phone there. Very uncomfortable to use.
Am i the only one that thinks that the spigen classic C1 without the shell is the best looking case! , yes its not comfortable and the buttons are hard to press but i strangely like that. Also add the teardown dbrand skin on the camera lens housing and its 😚👌
Through the years of owning iPhones. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying cases for my own personal use. My conclusion SPIGEN CLEAR CASE is one of the best I’ve ever owned. The protection is unique and one of the best over any you manage to show on your list. The Magnet strength is superb, super powerful and beyond what you managed to show. Case comfort is unique and one of a kind. But don’t take my word for it go ahead and buy a SPIGEN clear case and put it to the test. You will not be disappointed
I'vejust bought a 15 pro max always had Samsung before and always used spigen cases and liked them so I'm curious about this one. My question is does the clear case stain or discolor easily?
@@d.oliveras8012 Thanks for the feedback I will go with the Dbrand ghost case then, they have a guarantee that it will not yellow and if it does new case for free
Nice video but would have to disagree. I dont get the hype around the caudabe. It was obviously flexing/ giving at the bottom. All youtubers talk about how great it is but no one is willing to put it to the drop test
I have the Caudabe Sheath and I think you should have stressed that the “pebble pattern” that is embossed on the phone prevents fingerprints. Also not sure what you’re talking about re the sharp feel on your pinky at the bottom of phone. Thanks for the video. Good job though. #CaudabeSheathFTW
@@Brians_tech yeah, it feels like living in a village here :D From what I can buy, Nomad Modern seems ok. There are 2 options though - regular and Horween. I don't really understand the difference.
The Caudabe Sheath is fantastic and has been on 2 phones incl current. The “stone texture” shows NO FINGERPRINTS, so I don’t have a smeared mess on my phone and offers great grip. The case protects every surface area, and isn’t a bulky monster on my already large 15 Pro Max. My phone still looks like it just came out of the box, so when it comes to sell for an upgrade someday? This phone will sell no problem.
Let’s get it! 💪🏽💪🏽

The 4th review channel that has the CAUDABE Synthesis as their #1 pick for the IPhone 15 Pro Max! I recently purchased the Eucalyptus limited edition.
