I went to Downey high, also played marching snare in beginning band. Much like Karen I had a passion for the drums. Later on I began to play guitar and sing! Ironically the dad of a classmate I asked to join me in a band with was Mr. Gifford who taught the Carpenters in the 60's. What a small world. Thank you Richard and Karen for your talent and passion for music.

Well that sounds nice but it's not true, she's dead and gone that's why it's important to live life to the fullest because once you're dead you're gone forever we have her recordings and videos like this of her but she didn't take care of herself and her mental illness destroyed her. That was not the only thing Burres lied about. Karen was miserable in her marriage to Burres. It was short and brief! A divorcee or an annulment was a way out of being completely miserable and unhappy forever!
