There are many inaccuracies in this video. For one Karen's divorce wasn't finalized. She was supposed to go to her attorneys office the day she died to sign the final divorce settlement. She died still legally married.

Eating disorders are often inherited. Add a critical mother and you've triggered a lifelong eating disorder. I have suffered with it and it's a nightmare. They still know very little about these disorders and is very difficult to treat. I can say my journey never stops and is a deep source of insecurity and addiction.

I always loved her music. Still do. She was never heavy it's sad. Did her mom tell her she was.???? Makes me wonder.

It seems she had good diet plans in the beginning, but was not satisfied, which is really sad. I was a small child in their heyday, but recall their timeless tunes.

She have listened to her last doctor, and stayed on treatment for at least 3 years. Who knows how things might have turned out.
Probably not so well due to the thyroid meds and the ipecac syrup she took which were damaging her heart as well as the constant laxatives that brought her potassium down to dangerous levels. She didn’t know, poor thing.
Karen was raised by parents that lived through the Great Depression. Lack of food led to a particular body type. Depression era parents projected a starvation level norm.
Far out. My mother lived thru the the depression she had a fat body type.
I was always under weight!! And tried to gain weight!??
