      Issue is motors get hot, then the arms bend and give the motors camber, I’ve chopped so many motor wires trying 😂

    • @AVI-xo1kb
      @AVI-xo1kb 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aldricksaunders314first define what is the purpose of your drone, is it an fpv or a normal drone ? Then decide what are the features you want in the drone like how much range you would need. If it's less you can settle for cheap rf transmitters otherwise you would need to opt for a bit expensive one.and how much you would like to spend not every one wants expensive High kV motors. Look for help online there are plenty of people who build drones from the ground up like diy receivers, flight controllers, frames etc. And before all of this learn some basics about drones like what a flight controller does. What is KV rating etc. it helps a lot when you encounter a problem. And lastly enjoy the process 😃 it might seem like a heavy work but trust me it isn't that much once you start you will find it surprisingly easy and fun I also started building my own drone recently. In my country drones are expensive as hell. So I decided to go diy, found some online tutorials on how to start learnt some basics then found some resources and started doing it. I used esp32 as flight controller and nrf24l01 pa/lna antenna module for transceiver and an ov7670 for camera and f450 for frame and a 1400kv motor and 8045 size props for code and all I found some online resources and TH-cam tutorials I followed them and made my own version. I encountered a ton of errors but it was fun finding the problem and solving it. Have a great day 😊

    I have 3d printed a few frames I find ditch the flat design go arms half the width but twice the height then you can utilise infill perimeters much better and use a semi hollow frame instead of solid. I usually go triangle shape cross section on the arms it also helps with air flow quite alot having thinner aerodynamic arms and not so flat

    • @uhu4677
      @uhu4677 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Using a flat design for 3D Printing is not using the full potential/freedom you have, when not using CFK board.

      @@Ender_P.K Thank you. I already built my own drone just with I learned watching lots of TH-cam videos. When I ask a "list with hardware used" it doen't mean that I just want to "copy" his drone, what I want is learn more. Maybe @BoomBoomJosh used a kind of flight controller that I didn't know or, is he using a 3S or 4S LiPo battery? I always use 3S, if he uses 4S, I would like to know its weight and capacity... just to compare with my 3S, maybe 4S are more efficency... or not... Thank you very much anyway for your advise.

      @anub3207 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@definingslawek4731 It's like building legos exept you have to precisely solder without shorting components and use advanced software and troubleshoot tons of issues and learn about this different components and wiring and working with batteries and different fpv signals and how to set them up and spending hundreds of hours in simulators and flying to learn how to use them properly. Saying drone building is like legos is like saying drawing is just scribbling some lines down on paper and creating a masterpiece. Btw, how many drones have you built?

    • @definingslawek4731
      @definingslawek4731 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@anub3207 I build drones, I assert from experience that building a functional drone without cold joints is easier than drawing a pretty picture. Drone building might require 7 hours of total practice (of soldering and assembling and such, obviously the full workflow you described is a much longer process, like including simulator time.) to get decent at it and I think drawing takes many many dozens.
