Question - When you buy properties around the world and rent them out, how do you find someone to manage your place in the different countries? When you list your homes on airbnb, holiday rent websites, etc, how do you actually find someone reliable to take care of check in, check out prices, cleaning, etc when you aren't there yourself?

Hello, this is the biggest risk to be honest. That is why it is easier to buy multiple properties in one area, as you can then use the companies to clean the multiple properties. But we wanted to have places in beautiful but different locations. We do one project at a time. And you need to travel there a lot in the beginning to set everything up. For our chalet in Switzerland, we go every Christmas and then two other times per year. So we also see in person the repairs needed, etc. we had to change cleaning companies three times until finally we found a good one. So it’s time consuming. Some people offer full management of the property, including the communication, cleaning, etc. You will pay a higher amount, typically a % of the rental, but then you have less hassles… If your goal is to make the most money then if you find a location with good returns, you’d be better off then scaling and buying more units. If you are like us about both making money but also to have beautiful places to visit and live in when we retire, then you can go down our route… but it does require a lot of time and is more risky. I hope this helped? Thanks again for watching!

@@bluevistaproperties Thanks for your reply. Yes, it helped with your reply back. I am definitely more interested in your route and buying properties that are my homes but when I am not there to rent out to generate passive income. I know it's a challenging route... and I am not there yet but it has been in my radar for some years and something I know and wish to do. As an European myself I prefer to have properties in Europe, and I would prefer South Europe.
