Haha when you first started talking about cleaning out the cigarette lighter hole I was thinking about the time I stuck a wire brush in there and I was wondering if that’s what you were going to do and then 30 seconds later I got my answer. Pretty cool setup tho. That’s a no brainer if it’s the same price as the foam marker
I have a system like that i move between tractors. Yes youll want favor accuracy and you can adjust how far offline you want it to engage and whatnot. Youve probably already figured it out but i change the aggressiveness alot to fine tune how far offline it can get before it starts adjusting back. I have a footswitch to engage,disengage so you dont have to reach for the screen everytime. Ive seen used ones selling for like 50 bucks. The cheaper omnistar hp/xp takes forever to get signal (like up to a half hour after you lose signal) this year im gonna go with the next one up. Youll like it once you have it setup

When it hunts back and forth, lower the angle per turn number. I see you were at 20, try 19 then 18 and so on until it stays on the line. Then adjust aggressiveness. I'm good at 15 and 100.

FoxAcresFarm I have over 1000 hours with my ez steer and have never busted my knuckles. Must be a shitty vision guard steering wheel thing
I seen that 4440 creeping in the back with that flat tire 😂 I know y’all did get some more for it. Saw that on Insta. I’d say if that bolt is gonna be a problem with hitting the steering motor you could always just take it out and turn it the other way with the screw head facing the floor and the nut and bolt shaft facing the ceiling. I’ve never used auto steer before. I bet it’s nice. It’ll definitely be nice for planting.
Did you ever figure how to shut it off without unplugging the cigarette lighter?

It might work better with the satellite receiver further forward. If it’s too far back it will want to oversteer.
If I have problems I'll keep that in mind!
Its probably wired to the power side of the key switch i could be wrong would have to see it to know whats wrong
I'm just surprised they have it wired key hot from the factory
