I'm 1500 miles into these tires and I'm thoroughly impressed with them across all surfaces and weather that I've ridden in so far. Probably motorcyclings most slept on amazing bike part right now haha.
As honest a review as you will ever get. I know a few BMW 1250 GS riders in the pacific northwest that ride almost all road, and use these to commute to work on in all but the worst conditions, snow being a no go. I would call them an aggressive tread for a 90/10 tire, but not up to a 80/20 like a Anakee Adventure. If they have a lot of RoadSmart 4 stickem in the turns with that technology, I'd say the only question is how many miles do you get out of a set?
Haha, I think you need to rephrase 'the tires got me into a sticky situation' to 'the tires inspired me to get myself into a sticky situation' XD I'm in Pittsburgh, I just bought a set for my CB300R since I daily it to work up into the early winter. Looking forward to them helping me with the torrent of rain, sleet, and potholed-streets! Cheers
If youre thinking about riding in snow, a light dusting would be more sketchy to ride than a couple of nice established inches. Give the tread something to hook into.
Might be a good idea to scrub in the tires for a hundred miles or so before you give it the beans. I thought you were going to dump it there in the beginning.
