I may be biased as I own a v2, but I did a lot of research before buying, for me outright performance wasn't a buying parameter for me, to be perfectly honest I test rode the mt10 and didn't gel with it, rode tuono v4 that was unbelievably quick but didn't like the aggressive riding position tried Suzuki gsx1000s but felt cheap.Went to Ducati saw the v2 test rode it and fell in love with it. done over a thousand miles on it now and loving every minute of it. YES it's stupidly expensive but I wake up every day and go into the garage and look at it and I have absolutely no regrets buying it. unless u were on a race track the performance differences between them all is very small indeed, I like when I park up people look at the bike for its beauty, I'm 100% no one would give an mt10 a second look.
I would love to have the v2 but I've got the streetfighter 848 2014 and it's so good I don't think I can justify paying twice the price for the v2 . My bike is more than enough for me now I'm getting on a bit. Good luck to you and be safe 👍
I love my V2, but also have an R1. Question: I Brent tune my V2 and I already changed the Oil myself since it has over 600 miles. Will the dealer unlock more power?
No, there isn't actually an unlocking of power, so much as changing the dash and some software updates... The info I got from the sales guy about not getting full power till 600 miles was inaccurate. BrenTune should have already given you a bump in power...
Because that bike is $30k out the door, and it offers much more power than is really usable on the street. 200hp+ on a naked bike with no wind protection, to me seems like such a waste... To me it feels like owning a new Ford F150 Raptor, and you live in in the middle of Manhattan...

I enjoy them both... for me the MT-10 was more comfy and faster and on paper, the better buy... But I love the look of the Ducati more...

Once the suspension is dialed and unlocked you'll probably love it on the tighter Twisties.
Yeah, I will be making an appt soon.
Hahaa... In our quest for wind protection we all to often focus the blast on our heads!
Streetfighter V2 more racey and fun✊🔥

@@SquireSCA Ok, thanks. Ride safe and enjoy.
Would’ve liked to have seen your face when you found out it wasn’t restricted. Lol
The guy at the dealer assured me that it was. I have since corrected him. haha
Nice nature. What is the city or state?
Northern Georgia, USA
I hear the V2 gets hotter than the V4? How is the heat compared to that of the speed twin you used to have? Also congrats on big Red 🙏
Oh, you feel the heat. I will just tolerate it in the summer, but probably LOVE it in the winter. haha
@@SquireSCA I wouldn't say its hot only when the fan kicks in and then its tolerable.
What's the price difference ducati vs yamaha?
Probably depends on what country you are in, but in the US, about 3 grand.
Why not just get a v4s

Not unlock the power in Europe🤪
