      Thanks mate. It’s getting harder and harder to get Zoe out on two wheels due to other work commitments. But I’ll do my best to get her out more 😆

    Good review for us shorter riders. Remember it maybe fairly easy to ride around town but the big challenge for us riders and larger bikes is when it comes to parking. Not all parking spots are ride in and ride out, but some are on a hill, many you have to push your bike in and out of a parking spot. So vertically challenged riders keep this in mind when looking for a bike. With the V2 Panigale, I had a loan of 1 for a week. I’m 5’6’’ @60kg and at stand still I was on the tiptoe’s and I had to place my legs between the foot pegs and the gear and brake levers. I found the riding position to be extremely racing with bum in the air and hand grips very low leaving me with a sore lower back and my lower arms after a ride where aching. Not sure if my body would get used to to this after along time spent riding the bike. Major problem I found with the V2 Panigale like with most Ducati’s is the heat in traffic. UNBEARABLE! Hope you found this helpful.

      Enough heat to cook your roast dinner whilst on the way back from the shops 😁. Good advice on the short rider problems too. 🤙

    I just happened on your channel, nice review from a different perspective. Don't know if you've chosen a bike yet but you should consider a used Monster 1200S. A fraction of the price and at 160kg wont overwhelm.

      Thanks mate, Zoe hasn’t moved from the MT07 yet but I’m sure it wont be long before she does. Although she does have her sights set on a green SFV2

    Pretty sure the v4 version is actually more relaxed/upright as far as the ergonomics go, the new one also has a better shape tank to squeeze with the kneeze. The engine is also more flexible, doesn't vibrate as much, and doesn't have to be revved as high to get a decent acceleration out of it.

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting, did you find that when you rode both ? I definitely stick with my opinion that the V2 is less ergonomically aggressive and somewhat more road biased than the V4. Speaking to others who have ridden both I am yet to find someone who agrees with you but interesting to hear. 👍

      @@DSR1YT yeah, I rode both back to back last year, and the updated v4s this year. The bars can be adjusted differently, and maybe it could feel different depending on the rider, V2 felt comparatively small, not very substantial to me, maybe it would feel better for a smaller rider.

      I’d put my money on the v2, he says now. Goes in to dealership and walks out with a v4 😁🤦🏻.
      I feel for you short riders I really do. So many bikes are just unworkable unless you are willing to put a lot of time and money in to fixing the height issue. 🤙
