how sustainable is sprinting and how many sprints can you do to burn enough calories .. sprinting is a great exercise but I don’t think it’s great for most to help lose fat.
Running may burn calories faster than does walking, but the question posed was, "Which burns fat faster?" The answer is not so simple, but if a person runs too fast the body cannot burn fat and turns to catabolizing muscle for energy. Slow cardio allows the use of stored fat for energy. So the trick is to walk or run fast enough to burn fat but slow enough to avoid burning muscle. There's lots of info on TH-cam describing this and how to do it.
@@al-imranadore1182 Read about muscle catabolism and Zone 2 training. Like I wrote before, there are tons of videos on TH-cam describing these subjects.
Slightly incorrect. Once you surpass that certain tempo, your body doesn't start eating up your muscle, it starts burning carbs. Also, the body stops burning fat after your heart rate exceeds about 150 (varies depending on the person) and your body has to exceed a heart rate of about 120 to burn a significant amount of fat

Cycling is the best. More fun too.
Ayo a nice shoutout to all the sick dancers out there at the end. Bboy for life❤
We're talking long distance running right? Sprinting does build muscle
Yes, I'm referring to running longer distances here.
I think a 2 mile run is easier to stay consistent with. It burns fat but you can do it with no euipment. My wife refuses to run, and has a whole cardio routine, but still skips a day or two, running is just simple. I grew up in cross country so i might be biased though haha
It's all about finding what helps you stay consistent. If that's running for you, go for it!
Walking with 10 degrees of inclination is very good to burn more calories
Is running more sustainable in the long run?
I mean you could go to work and go home by walking comfortably every single day if you choose to do it
That already gonna burn you lots of calories and you could actually do it forever
Running takes a lot of effort just to commit to it, and running is not comfortable or fun at all
That's not what mens health magazine says. Weight lifting barely burns fat compared to walking. Always go cardio for fat loss, walking is recommended or bike
Lifting weights (AKA building muscle) increases your resting metabolic rate. In other words, you'll be able to burn more fat even while at rest.
Don't get me wrong, I love doing cardio for health and to feel my best. But building muscle is the ticket to efficiently burning fat.
jump rope - sprint - jump rope
Simple math about Body physiology, always train your muscles while losing Fat to get a stable physique. Avoiding strength training and fasting diets makes you lose fat but also eats up muscle. Results - loosen up skin making your body look like a polybag
You run to burn calories,
We run to save ourselves from dogs
Walking 10k a day is better long term as everyone walks and it doesn't make you hungry or exhausted.
