The Bikeriders is a 2023 American crime drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols. The film stars Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, and Norman Reedus. Its plot, inspired by the photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon, depicts the lives of the Vandals MC, a fictional version of the outlaw motorcycle club founded in the late 1960s.
The Bikeriders premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival on August 31, 2023, and was released in the United States on June 21, 2024. Originally scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on December 1, 2023, by 20th Century Studios, the release was delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Ultimately, Focus Features acquired the film rights from producer New Regency.

As a motorcyclist and someone who grew up during this era, they completely nailed it. It captures the look and feel of the times. It also has a message and that is, nothing lasts forever, and nothing stays the same. Now that I'm older I wish that weren't true.

I saw it last night. It's FANTASTIC. Shot on 35mm film, incredible performances, beautifully done. One of the best films I've seen in a while.

The last review I watched they said they won't be watching it again.... That says it all really.. There's something wrong with today's movie makers.. They have lost the magic..

Well, here's another review for you: it's FANTASTIC. One of the best films I've seen in years. And I'll be watching it again. This is the kind of movie they used to make in the late 70's and up to the early 90's. Beautifully done.
