- We're back to Battle Operation 2 after a bit of a break with one of my favorite mobile suits in the game: Galbaldy Beta FS.
This General suit is found natively at 500 cost, but the level 2 version can still hold its own in the 550 lobbies. Its two beam rifles make it a powerful threat at mid to long ranges, but enemies with high beam resistance can give it some trouble.
The ranked climb has been a rough one, but Galbaldy has always been one of my most reliable suits. Can it give me the final push to make it to C+ rating?

I need to try this game again I feel I just didn't get it haha
It definitely takes some getting used to and part of that is just finding a suit that works for your playstyle.
If you need to fill into support, i would look into getting the GP04 gerbera (it should be in the dp store at least on pc), it plays exactly the same way with the sniper + fast beam rifle. However it has no sturm faust but has a 2 swing melee combo with a straight forward lunge for its downswing. Its a strong suit and some people run it at 700 cost. Do you play on pc with controller?
Yeah I've been using a controller even though I play on PC. I'll have to check out the GPO4 and see if it lets me buy it.
@@firespykegames also i would watch avenger1_gbo2 on youtube for tips on melee combat. I believe he is an s- rank player on playstation and i personally learned alot from watching his gameplay (got me to A- rank, hopefully you can climb and show off the rozen zulu!)
@@utinni1715 I have seen some of his videos. My Marasai definitely improved a lot after watching his video on it.
I can't seem to get the game to work sadly. Just constant crashes, one time I managed to complete the game and while seeing my rewards I D/Ced and got my level 2 ban back lol
Wow that's unfortunate lol. I've been pretty lucky with avoiding crashes but queues can still be a problem depending on when I play.
I enjoy more the 450 over the 500 or 550. The Alex is good
Don't think I have the Alex unfortunately, but I do like Hizack Cannon in 450 a lot.
Im in the same boat as you. Im still trying to figure out how to get my melee attacks to work effectively. Great vid tho as well

As a long time player, the problem I see most newer players do is not make use of balancers. It's a skill on most suits that allow you to cancel the recovery of a boost with a melee attack. Helps after a stun to get in closer to get into melee.
@@ratchet5310idk if you play on controller or not but is it just boosting after you melee
@@Bigbear0288yt I play on controller, but it's boosting into a melee swing but you can also boost after to cancel recovery animations, which is useful especially after downswings.
@@ratchet5310so I boost then melee swing, ok. But there’s also times where it won’t let me boost after I melee even if my boost gauge isn’t overheated
subbed for gevo, but this game is nothing like it, and is just a worse mech experience overall, unsubbed.
Well I'm sorry to hear that, but I can't really keep uploading Evo stuff when the game is dead. What have you been playing instead?
