How Good Are The Throwing Knives? || The Finals

- Let's take a look at the newest weapon in The Finals: the Throwing Knives!
Most weapons in this game exist in three categories: Guns, Explosives, and Melee. The throwing knives are very unique in that they don't clearly fit into any of those. They are ranged like guns but the knives have a long travel time closer to that of the explosive weapons. And while they look like a melee weapon they provide no actual bonus to that. As of right now they almost seem like a category of their own.
Uniqueness aside though, are they actually good? The potential to two tap a Light is certainly nice, but actually pulling that off might be harder than it seems. Their attack speed is also slower than most other weapons available to the light class, but this is somewhat offset but the need to never reload.
Well the only way to answer the question is to see them in action. So let's check how good these throwing knives really are.

Knives should pass through team mates. Other than that i think they are really fun!
I've been only using throwing knifes and I just want a buff to the alt fire. faster animation or letting me hold it is the only thing buff it needs in my opinion
I think the most conservative buff would be allowing to hold for 3-5 sec.
I have to practice starting the heavy attack from cover and flicking your aim to where the enemy is for sure!
Yeah I agree with that. The alt fire just never really feels worth using in it's current state.
While pressing the heavy attack animation use the cloak ability before ur player will throw it you will be invisible and it will stay invisible better the timing the easier u can line your throws more works on peaks ect try it

I was using these yesterday and they were really fun to use. I fell in love with them and plan to use them often
Yeah it's such a satisfying weapon when you can land the shots.
It is kinda like playing Vatu in Paladins

alt attack deals 210 on head shot, remember that quick melee does 40 and mediums have 250 health
How did I 1 shot a heavy with it to the head then lol
@@GageMason if someone else damaged someone and they haven't fully healed, you still don't see their health bar until you damage them, so a heavy who already took 140 damage or more would seem like they get one-shot

Start the heavy attack from cover!
Throw dash throw dash then finish. Hit ur shots. Save the last dash for emergency. If u can't hit on 2 dashes consecutive then I'd go with something else or get gooder

while rpg can one shot lights, red canisters on headshot also can so while they might nerf the 150+ damage radius I will be surprised if they ever stop rpg from one shotting lights on direct hits.
Keeping the 1 hit kill on direct hits would be ok with me. But getting one shot just from the splash feels a little too hard to play around.
