hello. if you are inserting a timing pin into the flywheel and you say the crankshaft pinion isn't held in position why do you have to rotate the pinion anticlockwise? what happens if i do not move the crankshaft pinion at all and adjust the belt tensioner to the final position instead? and why is it necessary to rotate 10 turns clockwise? thank you
You should proper timing tools or have a certified workshop doing the job If you are will to take the risk of damaging the engine severely, there is another method that might work Paint 2 refence mark on the old timing belt (and the gears before removing the belt. Transfer reference mark onto the new timing belt and so on... I wouldn't solely rely on the this method alone

I have dismantal freelander 2 calender head I forget kam shaft timeing
Also how do slacken the fastner when previous step was to remove the locking tools
Iam not interested in the kit oll i whant is the correct timing and cam position
