Great seeing Magpies go down. Nice to see the Robin as well. Whenever I am out in the garden there is always one watching curiously and often a Wren too.
Some superb shooting as always Simon ,that fx King looks like a tack driver .I shoot the fx Impact mk2 and that puts pellet on pellet as well .Great to see those magpies biting the dust ,that,s more song birds safe next spring .

Ye nice one pal, to be fair these 20 grain Zans are not perfect in the mag because they are very very short due to their weight but will see how i get on..

Merry Christmas to you and yours! I own a couple FX rifles and like them quite well, especially my Impact 30 cal. With the right tune and right ammo, they can shoot unbelievably well. You can swap around barrels and lengths and twist rates etc. Very versatile. I shoot Zan slugs exclusively in mine though I have tried many other ammo types and brands. FX Hybrids are the most accurate, but they do not expand in real game worth a hoot. Zan slugs do, even at long range.
Ye nice one Ridin that 30 cal will shoot awesome, them Zans worked well that day for sure, only have the 20 grain at the moment but i should be trying others this next week.
Another great vid Simon, thought I was going mad at first as you keep shooting with lens cap on first scope. But when u turned it a bit more it looked like u had a little window in cap.

You've certainly got a great collection of rifles and lets face it you can never have enough rifles lol. That Theoben Rapid is just stunning and the FX looks the business....I was just wondering if the stock on it is from GRS......I've got a couple of their stocks on one of my Ultimate Sporters and an S410 and they are so comfortable. I always thought (from my youth) that a .22 just shot pellets but you mentioned about different grains - does this mean the rifle shoots bullets too (apologies if I've not used the correct terminology but hopefully you get my gist)

Good shooting Simon. I noticed when you were using the Hik the lense cap was closed ? Have you put a small hole in it for daylight use. The King looks good 👍
How did you attach your sling to the FX King at the back, Simon - drill through it? FX really need to start placing sling mounts or locations to place them on their guns. It's stopping me from purchasing one. Walking around holding a rifle in your hands for miles when you've got other kit is a no, no.

To be fair ye i do pal, ye the slugs i use seem to expand better with not as many ricochets and accuracy wise they are the same if not better i think.

Bottle clamp at the front and i just thread the strap through the GRS stock adjusted out at the back Red.
