Hi every one i go back to see my old friend Percy the Peacock for more Crow Magpie Control and end up having to sort a problem fox that has killed two of the Turkeys
Another cracking video and, as ever, your attitude towards what you do is spot on. I have always said to people i know that the right knowledgeable person with good marksmanship can solve a fox problem with no fuss or bother to anyone, unlike those in red coats!. Not wanting to sound envious but you have some beautiful land to shoot over 😜. Bravo to you and keep up your good work sir 👏😉

Good man for not shooting the Hares. Here in New Zealand everyone seems to shoot them. but I don't know why? Nice to watch them in your video. Thanks for the great videos you produce!

I've pulled so many shots on hares, I never used to take more than one per season. It's a crime to take more game than you need, IMO. Respect the countryside.
Simon6ppc have a go with the jsb hades pellets, mine bloody loves them and the energy transfer is incredible. I’v had all modern pcp’s over the years and they’ve all been sold on, theoben nailed just right nearly 30 years ago
Ye pal your right.i have tried the Hades but can't find any more at the moment. And ye I got a daystate 25 last year redwolf..its good but not my rapid hence why you keep seeing me use it
Great shooting. We have "turkeys" like that free roaming in the zoo where I work, but we call them peacocks. I've always thought they were very similar to our native turkeys in behavior and physicality to some extent, so it's neat that you call them turkeys there.
Interesting how that fox was running down turkeys when all of those rabbits are available, but I'm guessing the turkeys are easier to catch (and probably taste better).
Great way to start the week with a great hunting vid, way'da go, thank you!!….quality shooting and nothing better than seeing corvids taken out plus a rogue fox. Love the Hare footage too and 100% agree with not targeting them.
Unfortunately hares were shot on sight in the area where I used to live to keep the travellers off, I used to shoot a lot of rabbits on various ground I had and the game dealer wanted hares at £5 a pop I had just gone thru an expensive divorce and for a few years money was tight. I needed the money but not that badly, used to love to see them, but an old boy who was a great country man who got me into shooting as a kid liked the odd hare. Probably once or twice max I would get one for him, I bloody hated it in hindsight I should have bought one from the game dealer.
You may want to reconsider "I only kill problem foxes" b/c they will be a problem at some point. If you wait until they are a "problem fox" the farmer will have already lost some farm animals-seems best to simply shoot them when you see them. But, it's jmo. Great video as always. God bless.
Hi Simon Great footage of the hares, id be of the same mind set buddy, hares are getting rarer by the season and are a pleasure to watch doing their own thing I think that a lot of senseless killing of foxes should be questioned, as they have a job to do in nature, scavenging taking ill and weak animals and birds If they are thinned to much, it in its self can create issues around decease and sickness within the environmental landscape, thats my take on it anyway Again, thanks for sharing Simon, your videos are always exellent and a good distraction from day to day mundane life Take care stay safe and keep it lit.👍 my friend
That clip from the drone could be used to show how realistic the call from the fox pro is....it actually went to bite the caller 😮👌🏻The drone pro is getting on in terms of the current technology but still one of the best nv scopes out there in my opinion...I wouldn’t be without mine

No David i don't shoot enough foxes to ever cause that to be honest as i only shoot the problem ones. In one of my last videos you will se me feeding the foxes as i do admire them.
Great work Simon! Is the pest control causing behavioral changes with the pests...like more lambs surviving being blinded at birth because now there's a deadly shepard nearby? You need a rapid fire rifle!!

I got lucky with mine it was always set firmly well supported in the mounts so never gave any zero issues in the 5 years I’ve had it👍🏼
