Option A! It’s a more tranquil and relaxing pattern which is perfect for a bedroom! I bet you could make a larger paint brush for the wall if you buy a push broom and twist the handle off of it :) Also, option B has a grid-like pattern that is similar to the beautiful dresser you diy-ed in this video. So the two walls of the room would have matching motifs. Not sure if that is something you want or not, but just something to think about.
Option A. It seems to be a relaxing pattern. The other one would look good in a craft room with all the movement it offers. I love how good the dresser turned out. Great job.
Looks great. Hang the tv and make a frame for it. Then group other art around it for a gallery. That way you still have the dresser top for display and as a drop zone.
I vote for option B! I think it's a very fun pattern ❤ Personally I would try less contrast using a more watery brown something like watercolor feel! But whatever you decide to do I'm sure it will be A-mazing! ❤
Hi Tina! I have found that using a pin nailer is a great way of attaching decorative trim to furniture. The hole is so small that you don’t have to put wood filler. You can just stain or paint over it. My pin nailer is my favorite investment! Thanks for the dresser inspiration! I have been looking to redo a Malm piece that I have too.
Option A :) Also I’m a little late to the party so I’m not sure if someone already said this, but you can do the sawdust trick for wood filler to help match the color. Sawdust from the offcuts of your wood mixed in with wood glue or mixed into the wood filler helps camouflage the color difference. Beautiful projects!! 🤗
I like option A for the bedroom. the dresser really lifts the room❤maybe start a gallery wall from the entance of the bedroom for the entire length of the wall- which could include the tv over the dresser? can't wait to see what happens next 🎉
Oh my goodness I definitely feel you on being indecisive!! I've saved dozens of wallpaper ideas over the last year and I don't feel any closer to making a final decision. Also I really appreciate you showing you us just a normal example of an area you're not happy with bc it makes me feel so much better about the parrs of my house that are incomplete. 😊
Option B. I was all for the first one in the bedroom - more calming. However, after getting the dresser in, I think option B goes better with the dresser. It's more of a contrast which makes it more exciting. But to 'tone' down the excitement in the bedroom and make it more subtle, what do you think about using the same color as the walls but in a different finish. Like the difference between flat finish and gloss finish?
You could always use a little nail at the top of each decorative piece, like near where the dresser meets the pedestal. It would ensure they stay put through moving and the nails would be in an area that will never be seen by anyone. Also, excellent DIY! So inspiring for my new space. I vote the large brush stroke wall paper. I love that subtle movement without any harsh negative space.
Definitely option A Or the real wallpaper from option B And it seems like some squares need their sides stained as they are still the light wood color.
I prefer Option B--ironically I think it ended up looking less busy and more soothing and seems more "you"--but I'm floored you feel like we would know better than you! I get the indecisiveness (story of my life), but every time I think "Hmm, I don't know if that's gonna work" you knock it out of the park. Trust your gut! I'm always impressed by your intuition. This dresser, though! I knew it would turn out great, but WOW. It's a stunner and fits in the mood of the bedroom perfectly.
Oh wow Tina. I like option A!!! I really love this dresser that you did such a fantastic job redoing it, I also loved that other shorter table that I believe you could paint it a cool color and maybe make those shelves more sturdy and possibly replace the glass with some wood or something fun looking. I really always love watching your channel because you always do some awesome stuff that always inspires me to try doing something cool in my own house. Have a beautiful and blessed rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😊🤗👍👍🙏💖💕💜💜
The dresser is beyond gorgeous!!! Well done. I prefer a pattern like in that art piece that was behind you while you were working on the dresser. It’s more you. Don’t move too far away from the real you.
Hi Tina! 🙋🏻♀️ The dresser came out very nice!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ❤️✨ Option A is more restful and serene. It would be my choice. Option B is busy and playful. It might be more serene if you lighten the color. You could try 2 or 3 paler shades. You could also try a paisley shape. Curved shapes are more serene than square corners Pick the one you love best because you will be living with it 😄✨ Love, Hugs & Sparkles! ❤️🫂✨
Option A but vary the density so there's a sense of fluid movement instead of the blurred x-blending of a limewash. It will give you a graphic quality, but not too much from far away. The malm upgrade looks great. Got me thinking of doing something similar.
First thing I thought in the "before" was closed storage, and thanks to your clever IKEA hack, you have it! Are you going to hang the large mirror across from the windows, put your smaller art near the door, and hang your framed TV above the dresser? Can't wait to see the grand finale! 1 vote for pattern B.
I love the outcome of the dresser. It's amazing how versatile and adaptable Ikea furniture is. You always make a piece so unique. As for the patterns I favor B, unlike the majority. A, reminds me of a scary Van Gogh painting, "Scream".
I would vote for the patterned designed over the brush strokes. I just think the brush strokes look sloppy. Although I think the pattern is a bit busy for a whole wall and a canvas might be better. The brush strokes would look better on a canvas over a whole wall too.
I think both option A and B would look great. I can't even choose. I think it depends on the vibe you are going for. I think option B is more fun where option A is more mellow. Both great vibes. Idk, I personally would want my bedroom to be more mellow. But, I think you guys are more "fun vibes" when it comes to interior design.
Both are beautiful but I’m feelin option B! I think spreading out the pattern and adding more negative and white space between the squiggles might make it even better 🤎 whatever you decide will look great
I mix a little bit of the sawdust from what I cut in with wood glue, and I find that stains a little better! That’s basically what wood filler is, it’s just using the exact wood that you are trying to fill.
I agree with another comment I read. I think you'll like option B for longer term then A. I think will make the room feel darker than you want it to. I think B is very clean and adds dimension to the room. It's like an art piece in itself. As for the wall by your door. I think you could do a few things with that. I think the main thing is think about what would feel the most functional to you. What came to mind for me is a stylish bench, a bookshelf or wall floating shelves, a catch all side table, a shoe organizer maybe a coffee bar. I think your mirror should be part of the art wall like flow into it. It's functional and intentional. If the TV could be hung on the wall too and have digital art on it when it isn't being used could be cool too. You could even make or get one of those TV frames.
Option A! But maybe not so dense? A little more white space in between or what ever lighter color the base will be. You could also use an additional darker color to bring in some depth :) Option B looks good as well but I think it will be to much for a bedroom or for a big wall... plus you will be limited with art work to put up or decore items in general (to busy). I think it is more suited for a statemant wall, a stand alone thingy...
Love it, but make another by putting them side by side. It will give you more storage while giving it even more impacfulness for as long as it flows seamlessly it will look great..no opinion on wall choice their both good looking but 😮you've got the vision trust your gut ❤❤❤
Tina I know you can take that piece of furniture and turn it into something great knowing your skillful gifted hands 👐 can't wait to see how the walls and furniture turns out.
Oh oh! Number two you're an artist it's your thing now what I would say is each squiggly line you made right next to it put a dry brush the same color in the same shape
You've probably seen this before Tina - but for the woodfiller question - I've seen people add sawdust to the woodfiller as a way to make it blend better when covering nail holes & such. Not sure how much of a difference it makes - but it's a thought.... And as always you've created another masterpiece w/this thrift flipped dresser...just incredible!!!
I like both samples a lot. Perhaps A would compete less with your favorite artwork and lend a more calming vibe for the bedroom. I'm so impressed with your IKEA transformation Tina! You just keep meeting all of your challenges and it's get better and better. So excited for what's next. xo
I would pick option A. It's definitely more relaxing. But it would be cool to frame option B. and use it as wall art to play with tone on tone while still separating the patterns with the frame! :)
😮WOWWWW...IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL..U DID AN AMAZING JOB ON THIS DRESSER GREAT COLOR CHOICE😊 KEEP UP THE AMAZING JOB THAT U DO..THXS FOR SHAREING LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING UR NEXT VIDEO MUCH APPRECIATED N MUCH LOVE ❤
I luv it! That dresser looks so amazing. I’m so glad u decided to upgrade it from its plain state to a more modern upscale state. As for the walls wel my suggestion may be a little more tedious but I feel u should combine them using the feather stroke as the base and then the brush stroke on top. Good luck can’t wait to see what u decide to do.
a little entry table just inside the door could be nice to corral those items on top of the TV console. like sunglasses or a wallet. I also thought of maybe a slipper cabinet with a little greenery?
The dresser is fabulous - great job on that. It looks way better, more substantial, than the wicker one, although I love the other table, just not where you were using it. I would vote for option B. Not sure if you are keeping the basic wall color the same and just adding one of the effects on top or it you are doing a total accent wall. Anyways, I think B is kind of quirky and fun, but in a bedroom, would tone down the contrast between the wall color and the accent strokes a bit more than what was in the sample you did.
I like option B. I feel like you would lose the bed with the other option. Another commenter suggested to water down the paint for your little curves on the white so it gives it more of a watercolor look! I love that idea!

Option a looks wayyy more soothing for a bedroom and it goes really well with the room
Option A. It seems to be a relaxing pattern. The other one would look good in a craft room with all the movement it offers. I love how good the dresser turned out. Great job.
I think you will be happy with option B for a longer period of time than with A.
That was a *great* IKEA dresser transformation!
That dresser is beautiful! I vote for option a: it’s so warm.
Looks great. Hang the tv and make a frame for it. Then group other art around it for a gallery. That way you still have the dresser top for display and as a drop zone.
Option A is soooooo magical and fits the feel of the room I think.
Option A!!! W0W!!! The dresser turned out amazing, great job!!!👍👍
Option A - love the dresser. You have a great eye for detail 😊
Thank you so much, Sarah!! 💛💛
I'm going with option B. It just looks so much more clean and doesn't get lost with the headboard. The dresser is spot on.... gorgeous 😍
Love the dresser, looks amazing! Option A is my choice.
Option A is my favourite. Love how the dresser turned out!
I vote for option B! I think it's a very fun pattern ❤ Personally I would try less contrast using a more watery brown something like watercolor feel! But whatever you decide to do I'm sure it will be A-mazing! ❤
Option B!
The dresser came out great! Option A would be my choice.
Option B. its very unique.
Option A is my choice. Dresser looks very good
Use option B please. I fell it is a leaner fresher look. Love the dresser makeover! Janet

Like the option A. Drowers look great :) i think it will even look more elegant if the squerst on the fronts would be thicker
Option A :) Also I’m a little late to the party so I’m not sure if someone already said this, but you can do the sawdust trick for wood filler to help match the color. I love option "B". The dresser turned out great!!!
i like option B but i am sure whatever you chose will look great
Option A. The dresser is gorgeous! ❤️

gosh, yes! I was leaning towards option A, but option B in the same color but a different finish would be great!
I like Option A. Amazing job on the dresser!
1000% improvement over the console table. Love it! And option B for the wall treatment. 👍🏻
You do a great job with redoing furnitures . You need to open a shop refurbished furniture shop I think you will do well ❤
You could always use a little nail at the top of each decorative piece, like near where the dresser meets the pedestal. It would ensure they stay put through moving and the nails would be in an area that will never be seen by anyone.

i’m OBSESSED with how the dresser turned out 👌 i just moved & have been looking for dresser inspo & this checked all the boxes for me!
Yay! Thank you! Glad this could give you some inspo for your next project 💛
Definitely option A
Or the real wallpaper from option B
And it seems like some squares need their sides stained as they are still the light wood color.
Option "A: for wall TOTALLY looks great!!!
I prefer Option B--ironically I think it ended up looking less busy and more soothing and seems more "you"--but I'm floored you feel like we would know better than you! Hi Tina! 🙋🏻♀️
The dresser came out very nice!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ❤️✨

Awesome job on the dresser. Option B.
Option B! It's amazing 😊
Oh option number two you're an artist that is so your thing!!!🎉
Option A 🙌🏼 it’s calming and would look great with the new dresser💛
I like options best. The dresser came out really attractive!
I like option B. Your dresser turned out beautiful.
Option A but vary the density so there's a sense of fluid movement instead of the blurred x-blending of a limewash. It will give you a graphic quality, but not too much from far away.

Beautiful drawer unit makeover. Great idea using a glass topper👏👏👏👏
Tina!!! What an incredible job! WOW you should be so proud. So elegant. Edited to add: my vote is to do the wide brush strokes
I like option A. It’s flowing and rhythmic. Very soothing for a bedroom.
What a beautiful transformation!!! Option B (maybe a little softer) as it will contrast more against the headboard. Can’t wait to see what you do.
Great job on making over the cabinet drawers. I love the little wood detail you put on the bottom. It is so pretty!!
I'm loving option A for the bed wall!!! It seems very calming. The dresser turned out awesome!!!!😍

The dresser turned out beautifully! I especially love the new bottom ❤❤
Right?! The bottom might be my fave part 😍😍
That dresser is a killer!!!!!
I would choose option B. I do love A too though, lol. The dresser turned out amazing!!!

Option #2with the white background blended in
Both are beautiful but I’m feelin option B! I think spreading out the pattern and adding more negative and white space between the squiggles might make it even better 🤎 whatever you decide will look great
I like option A. Love the dresser 😍
Well done on the console/dresser! I like option A
Wow! Love the dresser. I love B, but A would look good behind the bed.

That's gorgeous Tina. You are so talented!
Wow that is beautiful and you did an amazing job! I think option A would nicer and is less busy and it's peaceful!❤❤
Absolutely incredible!
Option a is my favorite.
love option B. Dresser looks amazing😍
Tina, you're so creative and talented! Love all your projects!!

What a great makeover … I love it!! My vote is Option A ❤😊
ooo this is hard!! I think I like option B!! love the dresser 🤍
Great job, Tina! That piece looks amazing.

Wow Tina ! What can’t you do ! You are so freakin talented the dresser looks exactly like the inspiration one ! It’s so beautiful !
I personally think Option B would look the best.
Option A is my vote!
Option a is more calming I think
I would pick option A. It's definitely more relaxing. But it would be cool to frame option B. and use it as wall art to play with tone on tone while still separating the patterns with the frame! :)
I like option A and what you did with the dresser

Option A hands down😊

out of those two I would choose option A but honestly I love the flat wall... maybe a big canvas with texture rather than the whole wall?
I like option B. I feel like you would lose the bed with the other option. Another commenter suggested to water down the paint for your little curves on the white so it gives it more of a watercolor look! I love that idea!
