I would make that whole outer area with those trellis things and make some of them seating/storage for your cushions and close off from the street
That’s a great idea ❤
I totally agree! You definitely should add more of the trellis for seating and privacy. My favorite is the three pallets you made into a sitting area. You should really make another one so you could lay down if you wanted too! There's enough room for another one depending on the space. You should also add lights too! ❤😊✨
Agreed---make it in an L shape ---a beautiful space!
We have those scallop edgers in backyard (came with house). I didn't like them until now -- this table idea is so cute, and if we made one it would tie back to those pavers. Leaning into the retro aesthetic. Thanks for the inspo again!
Omgsh yes, that would be sooo cute together 😍
You need a cute ottoman to go with your pallet bed so you can put your feet up. Also if you have an aversion to bees etc you might want to move the purple flowers where the white hydrangea is and vice versa to keep them further away from you while you relax. I love a DIY privacy screen that can sit on the wall maybe? I did mine from room divider squares off amazon.
IDEA: get 4 pots w/ cement & pvc poles or wood and wrap in screen. It would provide privacy and you can zig zag string lights across the top. Kinda like screened in porch minus the roof haha
You are talented enough that you could make a faux wall behind the pallet sofa either a circle in the middle or an arch. This would be a little bit more privacy and you could hang more plants in the middle. 😊
I love using pallets to make stuff. My husband has made some beautiful stuff for our yard using scrap wood pallets. The wood is already seasoned so shrinkage and splitting is not as much an issue. It sands, stains, and paints up beautifully. Those cement edging block also take stain really well. I have a more worn aesthetic, so I’ve wet them down and splattered them with 2-3 different colors of stain. The water diffuses the stain beautifully, making them look warn and old.
The patio chairs look comfortable. Throw some orange pillows on them to fit your look. They probably hose off, too, to keep clean easily.
Maybe spray paint them her favorite green.
Really great! Use the two chairs that were all ready there, the shape is good and with some great pillows the grey really is a neutral
Could spray paint the chairs. I love the shape of them
I agree the shape looks so comfy can definitely spruce those up with cushions
@@gloriabruce978I don’t think they’re allowed to do that since they’re the property owner’s
Oh Wow Tina it looks absolutely beautiful & sooooo relaxing ! Loving the sofa & the side table ! Another privacy screen behind the sofa for privacy from the neighbors would be perfect ! Girl you are sooooo talented !!
Good start for privacy...I'd add a couple adjustable tilt patio umbrellas...or even 12x12 canapy for shade/rain protection..n maybe also enclose the sides for added privacy..easy peasy...we did...and totally love it :)
Bringing the same life from inside our home to the outside 🫶 so much creativity and can’t wait to enjoy more sunny days with you outside ❤
You could just screw in another trellis behind the lounger. Love the side table!!! Great idea to use as a pedestal for more plants or even a bird bath. You’re so sweet to leave water for the kitty, but that kitty is gonna also think it hit the jackpot with such comfy space.
Wow love the pallet sofa ! Never seen it before. It was just a throw away comment but i think it would totally be worth it to make another and have an over sized lounger.
Idk if this counts as a suggestion but if you have never powerwashed something, renting one is totally worth it and so satisfying. I rent and my landlord has done it on our balcony. When i do a small area actually use a hand pump that they use for spraying pesticide because i dont have a hose. Ten bucks so worth it.
I'm amazed at your skills but may I also mention the gorgeous backdrop and your lovely smile! Great job, love your channel
That little table would make a lovely bird feeder in my garden. Love it❤
Very pretty
I LOVE it. its beautiful, relaxing, calming. the color combo on the palette sofa is perfect.
WATCHED 5/7/2024 FIRST TIME HERE, YOU DID THAT !!!! GOD BLESS
Love the cement side table. If allowed, I would spray paint those gray chairs a bright yellow or dark green.
DIY some bird feeders and DIY some bird houses. Make them out of gounds. It's so nice to encourage birds into your relaxing space
I can't pick a favourite. It all goes together so well.
I just love the changes you and your husband make to your home!!
The patio turned out so cute! I think my favorite piece has to be the little side table you made with the cement blocks. The scallop edges are a nice touch.
It's impossible to pick a favorite! Everything looks fantastic. The only thing I would add is a foot rest that could also act as a small coffee table. That way you could really stretch out and relax....and put your feet up! You deserve it!!
Tina! A-DOR-ABLE! The "couch" turned out great!!! I suggest a trellis all across the back that faces the street and behind the lounge area; you could use latticework that is, I believe 4x8, (8' may be to tall(?). They would have to be framed in using 1x2's(?) to stabilize the trellis.
Either an ottoman or another "couch" so you can lay down, just to have extra room to lay your book and drink on a tray, or date night with Mr B!!!
Love! Love! Love! the paver table! I will definitely be working on that one!
The "dust" that cleaned off your table and chairs is the black exhaust from the vehicles; it will also permeate your house, esp the TV, because heat attracts dust.
You could spray paint the gray wicker chairs? At least that would offer seating until you can buy something different.
Wonderful job as always!!
Have a blessed day and a fab week!!
xxoo
I love the trellis but the patio looks so inviting and beautiful
Say what! paying for palates? Go to paint stores, they usually give away. “Palate” plant walls will help with privacy plus can have vegetables & herbs. Look forward to seeing more of patio
Perfect timing video! I need to revamp my patio. I have beautiful chairs but l need to switch out the rug due to sun weathering. I need to add plants too. Thank goodness l do have privacy. I love it Tina!!!!! Awesome job. The pallet sofa is my favorite DIY.
Fairy lights !! Fairy lights would look fab in that area !! ❤❤
More trellis or fence panels would be nice for added privacy and not cost too much, AND you can get faux plant material to cover concrete walls! A planting pot fountain (solar or power bank powered) would soften the traffic noise, and you might even like a shade sail for summer. Loved everything you added.
Cute! Love the side table, I think you should have the trellis planter sitting on the concrete wall, like a perfect fit where they do not fall. Also, you can get climbing plants, such as wisteria or jasmine, for up the trellises. They are perennials so maybe do not want to invest in those plants unless you will be there long term. Love how you have transformed the whole apartment!
This is a great idea for apartment living! get some larger potted plants that you can put a temporary adhesive to keep in place on the wall shared with neighbors and get a second trellis for the opposite side of the street view. Overall my favorite is the side table !!!
Add more trellis and a covered bench
Add a portable gazebo with attached wall curtains
the kitty!!!!❤
Looks cozy! ❤ Def add more trellis’ for privacy and an umbrella for the hot summer days approaching.
Hi Tina, I've been meaning to build an indoor privacy screen, but keep forgetting and jumping into something else. Watching your video just reminded me of it. Will you ever build one? I'm curious how you'd go about it. You patio looks awesome and cozy. You're one talented girl, Tina. Since I discovered you, I religiously watch your videos. Of course at first I had to binge watch your past videos.
Oh hi Tina, I have seen some of those outdoor seating things made out of those wood pallets. I also loved that pretty pink crocheted top you were wearing and love that green fan hanging on the wall, I love asian vibes in my home since I am half Japanese. Oh I love your wood pallet couch, you did a great job and the white color is so pretty!! Cleaning up the area really is making it look so much better and also that table cleaned up is also great looking. I do love wicker furniture and when I am not happy with its color I have painted it a great color and it looks so much nicer and newer looking. I really love that pot holder you created and it is so great you can cover up the zip ties with beautiful cord, I have some of those hoops and zip ties and I have a purple cord that I really love and I want to make some of those. Oh gosh that planter with that trellis is so amazing and glad that it will give you some privacy also. I really love a lot of outdoor plants and will be getting some this summer and getting my front planter beds fixed up and beautiful flowers planted in there. Oh everything is looking so beautiful Tina. I wish that there was a way to stand some of those trellis walls on that stone fence for more privacy. Thanks so much for this great video and I hope that you have a beautiful and blessed rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye!!😂🥰🤗👋👍🙏💜💜💜
I love it!!! Y ou need another planter to finish !! It's beautiful,Thank you ❤ for sharing your talent!!
The little side tables are so cute!
@tinale I have an idea for rental safe trellis wall…. You know how the one you bought has the side brackets?
What if you bought the big sheets of lattice and found brackets the width of the top of the pony wall so they slip over (on top) of the ledge.
And you could hang more plants or do outdoor art.🤷♀️
Just a thought 😊
Or long, wide wood dowels and cement them in buckets sufficient to hold the rod then staple lattice to the rod. 😊
The patio turned out really nice especially the planter and the sofa genius. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💖🥰💯💫🌷🌹🕊️
I love your patio it’s so beautiful and cozy and I love your end table soo cute you’re plants 🌱 are going to be so beautiful when they start to run up the privacy wall ❤
Wow awesome diy ideas for Tina! Thanks for some great inspo
I love it, as always, you come up with the best ideas to transform a simple space into a inviting and beautiful place 👏🏻💪🏻🥰
I love-love the couch and table !! Can’t pick a favorite ❤️
Excellent work as always. For your next thriller...."None of This is True." It was so good, enjoy it.
Wow!! This is absolutely amazing and is beautifully done. Bravissima!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️‼️‼️
Tina! It looks like a tropical oasis! Love that couch you made!!!
This is really lovely - a perfect spot for some morning tea. The pallet sofa is done so well - it looks very comfy. Maybe an ottoman to do with it in case you want to put up your feet.
Everything turned out great, but I would definitely be diy the side table....love the idea 👍💗
Oh my what a beautiful patio you have now! Love the pallet sofa. You inspire me to get going on that! Love your videos!!!!
You never fail to amaze me. Everything you do always comes out so good. Love it all. I would put a trellis panel behind the sofa tho for privacy
great assortment of plants! very sturdy pieces.
Cute. Looks so cozy and inviting.
Love the little side table
Absolutely beautiful 😍 I would add some type of outdoor lighting so you can come out at night and relax
You did a great job creating some thing that looks similar to your inspo. My favorite was the hoop plant hanger. Great idea I can’t wait to try it!
I've been listening to K.L. Slater on Audible. I'm on my 3rd book from her.... I'm hooked.
The design of the table is very cute and simple. Great job
Really well done. Love the trellis. You should definitely get more, especially behind the sofa, too. Great job, as usual. Love love love watching your creative ideas come to life. ❤❤❤
Love love love the sofa and table you made and yes definitely need more trellises 👍
Ciao, an idea to build privacy screen all around on top of the walls so you can hang as much green as you want, make another sofa longer, hope it gives you inspiration. Take care ciao❤
You are amazing!!! I loved the palette bench and trellis 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🥰
I would wrap the pallet sofa to keep animals out. Add solar lights. Make screens with drop cloth and pvc pipes
I found the video! I loveeee the sidetable diy! So cuteeee! The patio turned out very cozy Tina!
I definitely want to make the side table, it's super clever!!!!
I think some half whiskey barrels would be great planters. Anything you put in them would get fairly large. We're on the central California coast so a similar climate and a plant called pittosporum do very well in containers. They'd be a great privacy plant
Nailed it! Thank you for sharing!
Definitely another trellis area but with bench seating! That would be so pretty!
Nice patio makeover! Just one thing I would add is a screen for A/C unit.
I love them all!!! So beautifully cozy😘😘🥰❣️
Love all the plants. And that side table is amazing
Beautiful transformation, Tina. One note on the plants: Most of the ones you used cannot withstand being in direct sun light. Maybe you used them to style for the video or your patio faces north (almost no sun exposure). Either way, perhaps it is wise to consider using outdoor plants instead?! :) Great job, as always!
Great beginning. Love the side table.
Love ALL of it! Can't pick just one!
It looks gorgeous so far Tina! Could I suggest a dropcloth cover or something to protect your lovely cushions from dust and rain? Might not be necessary for rain where you are but here in Ireland ☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️ ❤ Ireland 🇮🇪 🙄
It's fortunate your rental came with outside patio furniture, that's rare. The small sofa works good for that end. I really like the side table made with patio stones, great idea.
It’s looks beautiful I need one in my backyard
i hope you make an extension of the couch maybe an ottoman thats same height so you can push it together to make it longer to lay on and then you can move it for a foot rest or whatever else, just put some gliders on the bottom or something to make it easier to move around? I also think more trellis behind the couch would be lovely especially to hang more pothos!
Tina what a Great makeover. It is a good size patio!
It’s so pretty! Love it 😍 you did amazing!!
Awesome! Make sofa fit the entire wall.
make more privacy walls with trellis and attach them to 2x2s that are cemented into to cute medium size flower pots. That way when it gets windy they will not blow away. Very nice start to your outdoor space
Book rec: A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson! Sooo good. It's a series too and each book has exciting mystery and thrills. Her other books Five Survive and The Reappearance of Rachel Price are also really good! ❤
I think the side table is my favorite but everything is beautiful 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Te quedó muy hermoso,muy original❤
Love the pallet loveseat. I can’t wait to have an outdoor space. 💜
Pellets are free anywhere there are trains around you'll find them
Love the table
Looks great as usual Tina!! The side table is SO cute, I told my mom about it and now she wants me to make her one. 😍
Yayyyy! I looooove it, and the price for the pavers are so affordable👌🏼👌🏼
I like the Palit bench.
Really good job on the furniture. I would need more privacy also. You are well on your way to a whole new outdoor living space. Am anxiously waiting to see the next video. You have such great ideas.❤🎉
I think it all looks beautiful, are you able to put up trellis all around or is it prohibited by an HOA? If you can I would try a big arch trellis wall behind your pallet seat and if you can't use trellis ask if you can use bamboo in pots it grows quickly and makes a great privacy screen.
Looks great, I would get somemoretrellis but mix it up with bamboo screening as that is much more cost effective 😊
You’re so talented
So cozy
Loved it it’s beautiful 😍
adoro assolutamente il tavolino ed il porta piante con i cerchi di legno ❤
I love it all but the little table is a adorable.
Beautiful!
