When he is down below in the actual box it is blocked/indirect enough it doesn't seem to bother him. The first time he walked past it to exit he was a little unsure about it, but became a non-issue within a week. At first I had the timer way too short for the fan interval though, so that would turn on when he was halfway done, and I think did spook him a few times. Now he's not bothered by it though, and it only interrupts him when he's on his phone and taking forever :p
10:25 pm. It would be great if you could sell all parts as a kit with instructions. Instructions can specify tools needed. Unclear where and how you configured the position of the litter box. Contractor with construction and electrical must be hired.
