and how exactly are you supposed to have 75 lockpick early in the game?
If you only put points in lockpicking, you can have that in 4 or 5 levels.
Repair is way more useful.
However get Locksmithing up to 55 and use a skill book to crack the safe.
Rather easily tbh, you can get it by levelling to 4-5 or earlier by boosting your lock picking with magazines and chems temporarily.
Most players will focus on one access skill be it lock picking or hacking.
@@bryguysays2948 with that one perk that doubles the power of magazines
Grab skilled learner as early as possible put points into luck and agility they should be your highest stats by level 6 if you do it right you can get it

I love that in NV the harder the lock is the better stuff it contains while u get only potions behind master locks in skyrim
A potion, a single gold piece, and a low level enchant on a worse sword than what you have.
No, just level up and literally they will start to spawn Daedric and Dragon equipment.
Think that’s bad try Starfield master locks will give you like 5 bullets 🤣 then you randomly find like 10,000 credits just sitting in a random desk lol
@otroweonllamadoseba to be fair you can't pick a high level lock in NV without a high level lockpick skill. In skyrim you can try at any level.
@@AbyssalPlaguethis is why I always carry the skeleton key until I'm max level "sounds like a power no one should have" more like no one will have it when I'm done leveling with it

Ah yes because everyone has 75 lockpick early
You don't need a base of 75, though, so you can use a magazine, stat-boosting apparel, absinthe, and chems to get you to 75. A hat and some Mentats are enough to boost your lockpick by 6 if your perception is 7 or lower.
There's a mod that lowers it to 50
You can, in just level 10, I got my sneak to 100. You can probably get lock pick to level 75 when you are at level 3 or 4 by focusing upgrading the skill and also taking perks that indirectly upgrades their skill, such as the perks that increases your S.P.E.C.I.A.L and choosing the perception skill, there is also the three tag skills at the beginning of the game where you can choose which skills you want to increase by a few points, using mentats and coyote tobacco chew you can increase your perception, there are also skill books that permanently increases your skills and S.P.E.C.I.A.L and magazines that temporarily increases your skill stats and is more common, there are also clothes that increases your perception specifically glasses there is also a skill called "Four Eyes" which increases your perception while using glasses but also decreases your perception if you aren't wearing glasses.
I always get rep/science/lockpick to the perfect levels to get ede and lucky early on so I can b line through scorpion gulch early to get wifey Veronica and her paladin armor with paladin toaster. It's kinda a tradition
You also could just put 10 points into perception and then by like level 3 have like 75 lock picking.
I just made a luck based character and power leveled him to get 75 lock pick just for lucky. I had like 11 lockpick at 1.

Ranger Sequoia: I’m about to end this man’s whole existence.
My all time favorite handgun. I always carry it with every build. Bloody mess × cowboy x SWC handloads = total annihilation in a handgun!
No, because you can one or two shot a Deathclaw with Lucky. I made so much caps at The Thorn, just shooting Deathclaws with Lucky.
I like lucky more because is a Colt army single action revolver, the most iconic revolver in western cinema, it has the fastest fanning so it was excelent for multiple targets, you cant do that with a 45-70gov.
If we are talking about looks, yeah the ranger sequioa is way cooler, even withiut the ivory hilt.

"This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Colt Single Action Army. Six bullets. More than enough to kill anything that moves."
Been playing NV for years, have dozens of play through a and I never knew this? Maybe my lock pick skill was always too low when I go through there because I always go there after the beginning of the game when I haven’t had very many level ups
Honestly if i use guns i go out of my way to try and get this gun as early as possible it is really strong early on especially if you have low strength like my current luck character.
Damn, when did they come out with the 375 bullet type, and how does it compare to the tried and true .357?
As cool as Lucky is, it pains me to admit That Gun is better, is does the same damage, same 2.5x crit multiplier, same critical damage, fires slightly faster, reloads much faster, and uses the much more common 5.56 ammo, not to mention Armor Piercing rounds make it nore useful at higher levels. You also don't need 75 Lockpick to get it. Lucky still looks 100x cooler though.
I LOVE That Gun! Always an early get. Gonna hop hollow points at Benny

Thanks

Smh.
That's a kick-ass pistol, highly recommended. But you get it at your discretion.
Lucky, that gun, and Gobi scout rifle…only guns I need to have a blast
Bro, I thought Lucky Casino had no enemies at all. Luckily I didn't die
Okay, I know you're not American so I am tellin' ya... It is pronounced "three fifty seven", not "three five seven". I have heard it so many times and said nothing, but to a gun guy like me that's like nails on a chalkboard.
It’s “.357”, since guns aren’t allowed in your country, I won’t hold it entirely against you lmao
I call it the big iron on his hip
Small iron with a big punch, as long as your lucky.
I think I may have found it somewhere else in Primm, but I didn't take it because I'm still new to it and I didn't know about it, so I just left it.
It always spawns in that safe. Spawn locations for unique weapons are not randomised

"375" you mean 357? Also can't unlock that safe until you're high level at which point it sucks. Do the most basic amount of research before making these videos.
“375 magnum” typical eoropean 😂
First of all it’s 357 and you would say it “three fifty seven”
.375 revolver, my favorite revolver
Wait you said .375 revolver. You mean .357 right???
I’ve always used this to kill benny as I find it uniquely fitting given its similarities with Maria. I find it equally fitting to let him escape to the fort and hill him tied up infront of ceasar, but most recently I took him out in his own casino, one hollow point to the head does the trick
375
.375 magnum? Damn
375 my favourite fallout calliber
Instead go to camp golf an NCR basement u can kill a man that has a revolver caller Ranger seqouia and it's max damage is 78
Guarantee it ain't .357 though. So what if it's got 78 damage if you can't get the ammo.
“Early” sure
Me not putting all my stats in lockpick 💀
I love the senetence "a god given right to stealth rocks"
Lucky is one of the coolest looking .357 magnum
Am I the only person who 100s lock pick and hacking ASAP because I don’t want to miss content?
Anyways, always my go to gun in NV, never miss it and it never misses
This time round I evened out my stats, don't need lucky when a cowboy repeater will set you right, but I do need to get it for the collection
I played new vegas using that pistol until end of the game 🔥
Can I still open the safe if I tried forcing it open and it failed?
If you have a perk that allows you to try again, yes
If not, reload
Yes I saw this chest every single playthrough but never came back for the safe! Good to know now that I never play the game 😀
ESO! I've played NV for THOUSANDS of hours but never had 75 lockpick by Primm to unlock that safe and never learned it's contents until this short 😂
by the time I’ve got 75 in Lockpicking I’m already past Primm and onto better pistols
You can easily get 75 lockpick by primm, especially using chems, hats and magazines. Also lucky is strong in the late game
'On the immediate left...' turns right. 😂😂😂
Thanks. Been playing this again recently, found this safe, didn't have enough skill and completely forgot about it 😂
I keep wishing they would have re realesed fallout new Vegas on modern consoles but nope basically only way you can play it on modern hardware is either Xbox one which is still Xbox 360 version with vary vary minor improvements which really is only resolution. or spend your life savings on a PC cause for some reason almost no PCs will run fallout new Vages without custom mods and hardware I kept hoping for a re release on modern consoles PS4 and such but now considering Microsoft owns the creator if they do it'll probably be a Xbox exclusives and I don't like any Xbox other than the 360 and original I had a Xbox one and got rid of it cause the way there system is set up is predatory asfk it basically becomes a brick if you don't pay for there online subscriptions and won't work without being online and legit first year of release wouldn't allow you to play used disc games and if you take your console somewhere were there is no internet like we're I live cause I'm rurel to point I can't get any type of internet were I live but after a week the console will just stop working and won't play disc based games or anything it will just have a error screen and will just be a brick that won't do anything and also considering it took till this year for Xbox to make free to play games such as apex legends call of duty warzone rocket league or any other free to play games to actually be free to play cause without Xbox live couldn't do anything then i switched to Sony and have been pretty happy cause for one you can play that thing straight out the box and I only have it online for like 1 week a year and considering Sony recently gave out 400$ dollars worth of completely free games Xbox tried to do something similar but you needed to be subscibed to game pass so they weren't actually free like sonys was Xbox it's just generally a less user friendly console now compared to the 360 days

if you arent doing a lockpick build, you can either get the mysterious magnum or alternatively *CONSOLE COMMANDS*
>gets Lucky instead of That Gun
Tell me you've never played new vegas without telling me you've never new vegas
Just get That Gun in Novac, its basically the same gun but reloads faster and also benefits from the cowboy perk.
How did I know exactly where to find it? Like every turn. I remember so vividly coming back to this place (I'd keep track of locks I couldn't unlock and come back for them later) and finding the Lucky 😂
Fantastic video, except the part where this is EARLY. Had locks are not early game.
Thank you! Cant believe I was missing this gun for my crit build
.375 magnum????? Okay I've heard of some strange calibers before but I'm pretty sure you meant to say .357 magnum
.357 Magnum (Pronounced Three-fifty-seven Magnum)
"375 Revolver"...... Must have more grains and do more damage than .357. Lol (I know that's what he meant. This is called a JOKE).
I’m sorry. What kind of fucking revolver?
I personally like the “lucky buff” mod so then it’s actually usable late game/ mid game
I usually just immediately run to camp golf and get a Ranger Sequoia from the NCR Veteran, 45-70 is a bit hard to find, but the damage makes it worth it.
"Early" is relative. The amount of time to go buy That Gun is less than the amount to grind 75 Lockpick.
This gun is reason enough to invest early in lockpick
I got to that place in my first game, never opened that safe because never saw it, how unlucky
375 magnum? 😂 Spoken like a total brit!
Theres something wrong with My Game i have 100 on guns and i do less damage with them Even in full condition pls help.
You can get this gun early! All you need is an almost maxxed lockpicking skill, EZ
3 57, im sorry it just irritates me so much wheb someone calls a three fiftyseven a three five seven. Its so much slower and sounds plain wrong
I've always found it kinda funny that literally everyone says early in the game for lucky. It's a 75 lock pick skill, I always put a lot of points in lock pick, and it really isn't that early on. I probably get it around a lvl ten courier.
357 yall from the UK don't know shit about guns
i just started playing, already got to vegas and im level 10.
My lockpick level is 45 and ive been sonstantly leveling it.
How is one supposed to get it early if the min requeriment is 75??
This was my fav revolver in FNV lol just the design looks fucking cool to me
Even late game, I use Lucky.
.357 is cheap, and my perks are all COWBOY!
Who doesn’t max their lock pick followed by speech and then science like right away??
guys, he's British, they pronounce things incorrectly like saying .375, instead of.357, they're just ignorant to guns
What's with you britta saying calibers and model numbers like that? Say it with me...three fifty seven.🙃
It's easier and more fun to just run to Novac and steal "that gun" from the dinosaur storeroom. Or better yet, to pick up any other unique weapon?
I recommend chance's knife, north of Goodsprings.
That .375 magnum is at half cock and it upsets me that I just realized it
my characters name is lucky, this would be amazing
They making 375 now I didn't know numbers went that high
Im Playing FO NV now. I found that gun so long ago and put it in a Storage Box in Good springs. Don't think i even used it yet. Now im past even end game levels, just exploring and using every Companion to unluck their Quest. Wondering if it's still worth using?
We all know the only way to play a gunslinger build is to use the mysterious revolver
IDK about y'all but I leave good springs at lvl 6 or above doing all the missions and side quests plus killing rad scorps so 75 lock pick isn't hard to get
I didn’t know about lucky until I was 21 years old. That means I had been playing New Vegas for 9 years, since it’s release in 2010, before I eventually remembered to go back and open the safe that it’s in. I had a couple thousand hours of my life at least, on the Xbox 360 alone. And it wasn’t until I got a PC that I found it 😂
I am currently in my first playtrough and I got it lol, I will start using it right away
Personally, through many test, I feel this is the best gun. Dont know how many times it's saved me. Have 10 luck and all the handgun perks....I swear it does crazy damage when you quick draw, or interrupt reloading, and almost always a guaranteed crit when the crosshair is near the target while doing those. I've found it works best while interrupting the reloading.. but idk, I might just be lucky lol
