He’s saying why would people think the plates for the slim fit the pro when it’s taller than the slim lol. The 3 black lines in the middle of the pro make up the extra height, so the plates are exactly the same as on the slim. And there are 3 new slim colour plates coming out in the same day the pro gets released. I’m 95% that the slim plates will fit the pro just fine.

Thanks for this video. I have the pro pre ordered and was gonna pre order the chroma green plate as green is my favorite color. I’ll now wait for official Sony confirmation before ordering any. I hope they fit as that green color looks dope

@@danieldavis1028 according to playstation support and a compatibility chart posted on Amazon Japan, they are not compatible. Do you have a reference otherwise?
@@danieldavis1028 The EB Games listing's for the plates in Australia also confirm they are only compatible with the slim and specifically state not compatible with the ps5 pro.

I bought it. Will see if works or not. I haven’t seen that it does or doesn’t. But one item on the shelf will sellout if it works on both
