@5:30 ehh no on paper they are a whole different story. A evil twin is made mostly for riding giant park features. The warpig is a backshifted, extra short in design pow carver, that other board is just a cheap as possible board.
@ yes, but on paper still a board made for its own purpose, and deffenitely arent designed to work the same way or do the same things, on paper all those boards accomplish something else.
Honestly... I think I understand why you had issues with the Bataleon Evil Twin and Raven compared to your Twinpig. As the last one is a rocker board (Versaile hybrid rocker profile is mostly marketing BS, it's mostly a rocker). This makes it an easy turner. I had the same thing with my Burton Process 2013 Flying V (also a rocker) when I went to my Burton Landlord 2017 hybrid camber (better know as a camber board). At the start I had a lot of issues with turning because I was just to my board turning on a dime due to the rocker profile. Now with the camber board I needed to apply a lot more pressure to get the same turn and put it more on it's edges. I had the same issue with rental board which are mostly flat boards. Honestly when I got used to camber boards and the extra effort towards my technique it required I started loving it.... I also stiffened up my bindings and boots in the last couple of years which made the camberboard even more fun. This season I am moving to a Jones Mountain Twin camber board as I really dislike my Process nowadays. Keep in mind though, bindings and boots make a world of difference too.
Hi Herve Thank you so much for your comment and for sharing your process of transitioning from a rocker to a hybrid camber. So how is the new Jones Mountain Twin? Do you like it better?
The "Core" is a Junior Board for Boys with Rocker-Profile and really soft Flex. Total wrong for an average adault and carving. Beside this, in my opinion good boards for the price. Perfect for beginners or people want save money. Raven should improve their website and add some detailed information about weight, flex and seperate real camber, rocker camber etc. It is a bit confusing what board is what for. They are almost all Allmountain- Freestyle. I like the more classical sidecut with moderate width, but there are a lot of Wide-Boards if needed. There are Camrocker, Full-Rocker, Flat-Rocker and real Camber. But only 2 real camber boards. You should test the "Grizzly" (Wide available) or the "Raven Pro".
Your inexperience with snowboarding shows as the Bataleon board uses 3bt tech. Its a super flexy/playful board which is in no way meant for carving, it is meant for park use and buttering. If you wanted to do an accurate comparison you should've picked up a board that isn't super flexible and more all mountain. I think you would enjoy a capita mercury. You can lay down super deep and hard carves on that. It would've been a perfect choice for your premium pick.
Appreciate your input, Danny. However, the video's focus is on understanding your unique riding style and finding a board that complements it, rather than equating higher price with better performance. It's about the rider's connection with their gear, not just the gear itself.
You compared 2 similar boards with a TOTALLY different type. The raven core and the bataleon are both park boards and aren’t meant for carving but yours is. The profile and shapes give that away
hanks for your comment. The intention behind comparing different board types was to highlight how varying designs can influence your ride. The key takeaway is to identify your personal riding style and choose equipment that enhances your experience, beyond just the price tag.
@@grey_rebel certainly you should find what suits you best. i was just making the point if you're going to compare the amazon cheap board and a high end board, choose something that is as different from your board as the amazon is. don't put 2 in the same group against yours.
The production quality for a 60 subscriber channel is crazy. I expected thousands.
Keep it up man, I hope the algorithm pushes you further
Wow such a lovely comment. Thank you so much
fr this guy knows what he's doing with editing, keep it up and you'll be big
He has a different german channel with more subs. But still a great video!

Not the warpig - twinpig 😊

Grizzly in 157W or 162 W or the Raven Pro in 159.

all 3 boards are going to ride differently because they have different camber profiles, sidecuts, etc. 3bt has less edge bite than a flat based board.

Bataleon has 3BT, which changes the way it rides quite a bit.
Also, you are already used to the way the twinpig rides.
Yeah that is true...
