Cross Progression is one of the most asked for feature within Apex Legends, and it looks to finally be releasing. Account Merging will be available!
Season 19 of Apex Legends releases on October 31, 2023 and with it comes Conduit, a new Support Legend, changes to the Storm Point Map, Ranked Changes, plus Cross Progression.
Within Cross Progression, you will be able to merge accounts and bring over certain stats, items, and rewards to any platform.

it’s honestly crazy how so many other companies add this so seamlessly, but EA and Respawn make it the most complicated i’ve ever seen it
I've been playing since season 0, and played consistently for several seasons, but stopped playing almost completely by season 14-ish cause my PS4 was getting too old. When the news of cross progression finally became true, and I rushed to finally play the game with my new PC, I haven't been included yet. And it's been a while now, too. I swear, this delay is just *killing* any desire I have left to keep playing the game

Respawn should have been stealth launching this feature for the last few months. They should also give an ETA for when everyone will have access to cross-progression.

Wild that it has taken 19 seasons for this to get released since games like Fortnite almost launched with it. Thanks for the update though! Well as of November 22 I now have cross progression :)

Cross save came around May 2018
Apex is not even able to release a proper Cross save. You have to "wait" and even so. You don't get all your items

I’m a day 1 player and am yet to receive, hoping and praying lol, great to know about adding a new account to your existing ea account after oct 26. I was a little stressing about that one

@@pvtrify strangely enough, on the clan page in apex it says the “directive” was received before the 26, or about 30 days old, implying the account was created before the 26th of October, regardless that’s the secondary account so I only care about the main Xbox account

thank you for the update. i’ve been worried sick because i have a new pc account that i just made to have to same emails from xbox to pc. i just want all my heirlooms to transfer from my day 1 xbox account to my new pc account but it sounds like that won’t be a problem. i just won’t get whatever’s on my new pc account to merge which is fine as it’s level 15 now

Before the cross-progression on apex existed, my pc version of my ea account on apex legend got banned. Now I still can play on console with my progression, but i just can't open the game on pc (because i am banned). Since Season 8 on apex i wished for the cross-progression and when it came, i can't use it, because i got banned on pc. So I am here now, forced to play fresh new on pc while having a goated console account that i can never play on pc.

maybe but next gen consoles might not be able to reach 120 because even old gen consoles struggle to even get 60fps. especially with how high the new gen consoles setting are. i would prob expect maybe 90Fps but thats prob about it

Thank fudge my most important question has been answered. I was dreading not getting my account merged because I set up my pc account with the same email after the deadline and I didn't know if it would accept my day one Xbox account.

Hey so I unlinked my steam account and linked it to my other wa account because they did not use the same email and wa account now I have nothing on my pc but I do not really care because I was only leval 40 and did not have any major skins on it but my question is because when I went back in it was a refreshed account with nothing on it is it still going to merge and send all my Xbox cosmetics and levels to my steam apex account?
I only ask this because I saw a tweet saying if your account is newly created befor October 23 you can merge pre existing account to it

Today I just went to apex then something appears and said that it will do cross progression, I could denie so I just said accept, then my battle pass got reseted and then I reseted the game, THEN my account was lv 14 and i had a total different account but the same name, my coins are gone, my characters my progress, EVERYTHING pls some one tell me what the freak should I do🥺🥺😞😞

0:17 I’ve got this screen on both my accounts (PS4 and pc) yesterday, and I haven’t been prompted to merge them. Has anyone else had this happen? I’m worried because I don’t think they were under the same ea account and on the screen it says that if you only have one profile then you are ready to go. Does this mean I can’t in fact merge my accounts because they aren’t under the same ea ID? I assume many others have this same issue so I hope respawn addresses it soon

1:32 So I'm confused, my PSN which was made in season 0 has a different email than my steam account which means i have 2 separate EA accounts for Apex. Does this mean this update means nothing for me and i wont be able to login or merge ever? :|

if u happen to do this like i did u can make a support ticket and they will unlink the account for you and then u just have to relink your account back to the original account and the issue should be fixed

Don't know if this is a stupid question or not, but is it known if you'd be able to merge two Xbox accounts for cross progression? I accidentally linked the wrong Xbox account (that I have never used) to my EA account; would I be able to merge my actual Xbox account that has all my progress, to my Pc account? Or would I just be screwed? I know you can only link one Xbox account to an EA account, but idk if the Xbox account HAS to be linked to successfully merge or not.

I'm banned on ps4 and didn't know cross-progression came in waves. So on my birthday, during the post malone event, I REALLY wanted the octane skin because he's my main, but of course I couldn't get it since my account was and is still banned temporarily. After a week I found access to a computer and after about 8 hours of chasing my tail loggin into origin, logging into steam, redo-ing a capcha for like 2 hours, I finally logged into a PC account linked to my banned ps4 account through EA. After doing so I found that cross-progression hadn't hit me yet, which I found odd since, like I said, I didn't know it came in waves. Logging into this account was my last chance at getting the skin I had already spent my birthday money on, it was already on my account, I just needed to click purchase. After messing around with, refreshing, and even re-downloading apex, I finally unlinked and relinked my EA account from either origin, or steam. NEVER Playstation. This was before cross-progression hit me, so maybe it didn't delete my items, I still don't have my account but if I get it back and realize I waited 60 days to be robbed of 500 dollars by respawn (my heirloom), I'm going to sue a fish.

Probably a dumb question but I have two apex accounts, both on Playstation. Both I'm 100% sure were used under the same EA account. However the EA account does not show either under playstation, since I've never had a phone I never could really keep track of my accounts over the years, would I have any issues? Also can two playstation accounts be merged? I have 20 bomb 4k and pred badges on one, and the other is my skins account.

No you have to choose what account you want to lose bassically if you do want cross progression link your accounts to the ea login with all the skins etc
I unlinked my xbox account as i didn’t care about it( it was level 2) and then linked my ps4 account to it but now im still level 2 on xbox and all my currencies are just loading and i cant access any tabs, what is happening??

All my skins show up on my characters on my Xbox but the legends are locked. I click on the legend and my skin disappears and shows the default skins. I’m confused how i have them show but not able to equip.

What if my EA account is connected to an old email (yahoo) ? I cannot get into my yahoo account and I can’t change anything in EA because it needs email verification.
So a long time ago I started my EA account on Xbox and then when I got a computer I started another EA account for steam cause it told me to. So I have progress on my steam EA account and my Xbox EA account, but I cant merge them because they are on two different EA accounts? And you cant unlink anything, so what's the point of adding that if a lot of people cant even use it, including me?

I only got one EA Account and I’m playing on my Xbox one x and only on my Xbox one x. I took a break from apex for a few months now but when I started the game for the first time again yesterday, the only message that i received was the one that told me that cross progression is now here. Is that normal? Why didn’t I reserve the other message.
When i go to the settings the button to enable or disable cross progression play is blacked out. I can’t activate or deactivate it. Why?

I just moved from Xbox to PlayStation and everything moved over perfectly not one item missing however now I can’t play ranked on the PlayStation and it’s put me back to provisional matches but it won’t let me load into a game has anyone had this same issue ? Also it’s kept all my ranked stats from the first few days of season 19 from Xbox and I can see them on PlayStation not sure what this problem is ?
Also I only started playing apex about 4 months ago and my first account was on Xbox so I guess I’m lucky to get the merge so smoothly or I’m not sure ?
Hey 44 - this bug is common on PlayStation. A way around it is to go into the Firing Range, and quit back to the lobby. Usually that fixes it!

i got the cross progression tab ages ago but i didn’t need it back then i linked my xbox and ps5 accounts so what do i do now
I play on PS5 and because of this update today..even though every progress was saved on my console I lost all my heirlooms, prestige skins, battle passes and all the money I had on the account. Also I lost about 100 of my account levels. It also deleted all my played hours off of my PSN. do you think it will be fixed. Cuz I really just spent to much money on my account just to loose everything within seconds. And there is no way to contact anyone...I even tried the help email..and it wouldn't let me send it.
i literally lost all my progress for my account me and my brother used the same ea account when we were younger thinking nothing of it but now i go in to play apex and it asks to merge accounts because we have both accounts on our ea i get scared and don’t accept and close my app but i open the app again and it merged em together i kept my heirloom but i got his stats and mine were better then his and my kd and my comp rank and im pissed if anyone knows please help.
what if i unlinked my PSN acc to another EA account and but then linked it back to the previous EA account from before? I've done that before (Nov 6) and now logged into steam that has my playstation account on it. My steam Apex is a whole different account level 0, showing the training grounds. I'm wondering if im still able to receive cross progression upon doing that?
