Just a heads up, your emergency stop button for the wheel base needs to be at your feet so your able to hit it with your foot if your wheel base renders your hand to hit the button unusable. Those DD wheels are no joke

Love the setup. Especially the sword handle addition! Ya it's a little tough to drill hardened high carbon steel. Try carbide drill bits next time! But great welding job! You laid down a very nice bead and it polished up perfectly!! A more seamless fit than drilling anyways... Stronger too!!

The reason is that in the sim yiur have to learn to drive by visuals. And not g forces etc. It will feel wierd at first but youll get used to it. Just wanted to get that out there since youve been spending alot on this setup by the looks of it. And i dont want you to be dissapointed. The sense of speed will also feel wierd at firsr couse of no agian g forces

Insane setup! When I saw Fanatec I got excited as hell. Like the only thing that's not all-out is the prebuilt Alienware rig but that's about it, everything else is top notch🤘🤘 grab the Tando Buddies drift pack for Assetto Corsa, some great cars there

PS: I run a similar Fanatec setup, on my 3rd handbrake, make sure to have one as a spare, they tend to go wrong - unusual for Fanatec products. PS2: As a IRL driver I hope you are considering VR, quickest way to sync up with the sim from what you already know. A 2D monitor where you can't look where you want to go will take more getting used to. Looking forward to the content!
The issue with drilling was duento the mettle being highly stressed. You just needed to hest it with s torch get it red and let it cool slowly. Would have been able to then drill it

Them gloves are really nice and u did a very good job on making in look and fell even more like a drift car. Can’t wait to see some gameplay on the new rig in assetto corsa and other games!
be careful with that fanatec handbrake, they are known to break pretty easily (just like mine) lol, but if you ever need an upgrade id recommend the heusinkveld sim handbrake

Hey! I am a little car guy who loves drifting in Assetto. I have a Thrustmaster T300RS with shifter and Fanatec pedals. The problem is that I dont have a handbrake. Can you recommend anything else than the Clubsport? I want something good but cheap. Thanks!

dude 4:55 look at the handbrake flex, you can see it better in 0.25 speed. some of my mates have said they have snapped theirs. if you were really going all out you shouldve got the thrustmaster one, it also doubles for a sequential. Also, please tell me youre going to secure your pc to the mount if youre leaving it on there haha. I rate the setup bro, hopefully ill see you in a assetto lobby and i can get on your door!
Handbrakes the only thing that could even be upgraded lol. But the v1.5 has had good reviews and I like it. I also want everything to be compatible with Xbox too and that seemed really easy keeping the handbrake fanatec too. Honestly from my research I don’t think the thrustmaster is any better. The only better would be the wilwood realistic one for pc

Carbide drill bits should be able to drill through that sword on your next project! Amazing build btw!
