Ferly P I wouldn’t put all the blame on Peter due to this being The Bachelor and the format of the show but maybe this the influence of Colton’s season and Cassie forcing his hand. Cassie’s break up with Colton was different from Madison’s break up with Peter as to why they were doing it. I have only seen a couple of seasons but I would imagine that during other seasons there was a point where the bachelor or bachelorette knew who they were going to pick before fantasy suites but because of the show the lead couldn’t tell other contestants.

Most inappropriate display of behavior goes to Barb Weber - Look, I get that she loves and wants the best for her son; Part of loving him is allowing him to be himself, and make his own decisions. She doesn’t have to agree with all of his decisions but she does need to allow him to have his feelings on and respect whatever decision he ends up making for his future. Her behavior was incredibly inappropriate and I absolutely applaud Peter for calling her out on it & telling her to stop.

i have seen the barb crying promo so many times its vividly carved in my brain like a traumatic memory.
Theory: I think at the last episode madison is gonna come back (as we saw in the trailer) and ask peter to be back with him. But at the time Peter is already be engaged with Hannah. Then he will choose Madison and apologize to Hannah (you know that apology scene we saw on the trailer) And at the end we will all hate Peter cause why you gotta hurt Hannah like that its not fair.

Now that the finale has aired, does anyone else kind of blame his mom for the reason why Peter proposed to Hannah Ann? (And only he can fully take responsibility for his actions.) He should have stuck to his gut and ignored his mom and the producers who I'm sure were pushing him into an engagement. I think the show producers might have been feeling a lot of pressure to get one since the last bachelor and bachelorette didnt end in a lasting engagement or 1 at all.

I get why he didn’t tell Hannah Ann about Madison leaving. She’s already expressed that she wants to feel chosen by him, and if he tells her Madi’s gone, it might come off as “well I guess since you’re the only one left let’s do this thing.” He probably should have told her, just because doing so would mean he was being completely honest and transparent. Buttt that would require Peter to have way more guts then he has had thus far on the season.

Tbh Peter was the villain of the season, I think he did such a poor job handling everything. He did a lot of shitty selfish things, he is not ready to settle down like Hannah B he has a lot more self growth to do, and he’s not gonna do it still living with his parents. Hey specially when Barb seems controlling.
In defense of Barb, while she handled the situation *poorly,* I don’t think she was wrong about Madi. Respect to Madi for _finally_ being clear about her needs. However, it does seem like she’s implying she won’t compromise on her values/lifestyle. Again, that’s fine. However, this also implies that Peter is going to have to change A TON in order to make Madi happy. They just don’t seem like a good match.
Compromise in relationships is necessary sure, but more along the lines of which color to paint the house not your entire lifestyle and value system. My god. I don’t see this relationship lasting. Maybe Hannah Ann isn’t it either, but that doesn’t mean by default Madi is. Maybe Peter is ready to settle down and really wants to change his lifestyle, but it seems unlikely.

barb could have had good intentions but her forced crying and biased treatment just doesnt sit well with me. barb overstepped her boundaries. its one thing to care about your son and another to manipulate him into picking someone she thinks is fit for him. shouldn't peter's opinion matter the most, since hes the one whos gonna marry. and yes, peter and madi aren't a good match, but they seemed like they had very deep feelings for each other and peter's family kinda pushed madi away.

Im not sure if you felt the same way but Hannah Ann feels so rehearsed and like she is just saying what she thinks people want to hear. Madison sounds so much more honest and real. If I was peters family I’d be concerned about Madison life path but way more concerned about Hannah Ann’s legitimate feelings.
think about it, doesn't peter's family sound kind of rehearsed too? (specially barb with her disingenuous crying). the family thinks shes a perfect addition.
I think Madison left also because as a Christian woman she expects to have love between her future husbands parents and they were obviously against her. That was the final straw for her.
THEORY: FINAL ROSE CEREMONY
During the week 10 preview they used a voice clip of Hannah Ann saying "It just makes me feel uncomfortable. I want to be here so bad. I want to be chosen." to make it seem like Madison wasn't going to show up. However, she did show up and that voice clip was never used or shown. So what if Hannah Ann finds out before the final rose ceremony that Madison left and she gets upset because feels like she's not being chosen and decides to leave (which is where they got that voice clip from). Hence, Chris coming up to tell Peter everyone just found out that Hannah Ann has left and won't be showing up either. I don't think Madison will show up until after because as Chris says it's something that "everyone JUST found out" and in the preview tonight we see Chris and Madison talking before she comes back, so it wouldn't be something they just found out.
Edit: It could also explain why his mom gets so emotional too. After the final rose ceremony he goes and tells his family he didn't end up with anyone, which in turn makes Barbara really upset. But then after a week (or a few) Madison comes back and wants to try and work things out with him. Him apologizing could just be him apologizing to Madison for hurting her feelings and for sleeping with the other women.
Guess we will find out how it all goes down tonight!

I think the difference is that with Madison hes been saying how madly IN love he is with her, and with Hannah he just says he loves her. (Like as a person.) Plus hes told Madison hes in love with her or "I'm in love with you." Hes never said that to Hannahs face. Just that he was falling in love with her. I personally think hes known it was Madison for quite awhile now. Just the way he talks about her and the way he is with her. But of course the producers want him to act really conflicted. I think a lot of time the lead knows who theyre picking by the top 3 but the producers make them act torn for drama.
You talk about Hannah Ann like if she sucks the girl has not anything but been supportive of Peter. Madison and Hannah Ann are amazing women.

Alright just my thoughts that the edit pulled Hannah Ann’s date to AFTER Maddison left, I don’t think either one of them knew she was leaving yet and that’s why Peter didn’t say anything to her and why he tells her his heart is being pulled two ways... because Maddison hadnt left yet.
Because it makes more sense that things left with Maddison on a good note after she met the family and a couple days later he goes on her date after Hannah Ann’s date and then she breaks up with him and he’s not really expecting it. I think they also spliced in Chris Harrison talking to him about Maddison leaving early instead of in actual timeline order, because I think that’s an add in to make the show seem like more of a twist

Peter is the way he is with women because of his mom. She’s way too intrusive, emotional, and disrespectful. No wonder why he kept Victoria around for so long 🤦🏼♂️. Madison has actual standards unlike so many of the other girls. She has the same standards I have for men and I think it’s awesome to see someone on the show be proud of that and stand up for herself. ALSO: if he wanted Madison the whole time over everyone else then he wouldn’t have slept with anyone else. Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you HAVE to. Plenty of bachelorettes and bachelors have only slept with one person, the one they know they’ll end up choosing. So there you go. His own fault. I think Madison and Hannah an are too good for him.
while I agree with Madi for standing up for herself this episode, I do wonder why she didn’t just go to her church to find a man who is a “Faith Leader” and would be more likely to be on the same page with the whole saving yourself for marriage thing. I just think it would be easier to find somebody that shares her values if she looked at her church group or friends of her church friends

Madison knew that peter had sex 4 times with Hannah B in a windmill, and she joined a show where one guy dates 30 women. I’m sure all the women have the standard of wanting the guy they’re in a relationship with to not sleep around, (duh) but he was in other relationships. I respect Madison’s values but I would respect her more if she would’ve just said “Clearly your values are not the same as mine, I’m leaving” as soon as she found out that he’d been intimate with the other women.

I think peter probably didn’t let hannah Ann know about Madison leaving because production didn’t let him. The way seasons have been turning out, unexpected endings, you never know what will happen. It probably was better to be cautious. What a ‘finnasco’ would it have been if he told hannah Madi left but then Madi came back or he chased after her😬. Also why not just propose to her then? It’d ruin the whole proposal moment, she’d know she’s the one

After seeing Peter stand up to his family for they way treated Madison, what if Peter is willing to make a change in his life? Why would his parents not support him for contemplating on his lifestyle? Imagine wanting your son to be partying non stop and being promiscuous. That's some horrible parenting.

I CANNOT stop watching Bachelor Fantake after every bachelor Monday (and the occasional Tuesday or Wednesday)! There was a new preview last night with Madison regretting her decision to leave, and I wish some of that was covered here... but it’s ok because we get to see it tonight :)
