Indeed.. After hearing abt eli Cohen in crime tak by Mr Shamstahir Khan I waited for any series based on his life and finally got a chance to watch it... N I enjoyed it......actyly he was one f d greatest spy ever
After watching this series, i went and watched an interview with Amin Al Hafez in Aljazera channel in 2005. However, he said “ any Arab ruler is more dangerous than Eli Cohen”.

@@omarojjeh5589Yeah, he seems to have watched only one episode i think😐😐
this show was FUCKING AMAZING! Sacha is truly a very talented and intelligent man. Great to see his acting in another form other than comedy. He nailed it!!!!
Best experienced for those who haven’t watched Borat or Ali G etc. Sacha is brilliant and the story is amazing. Is there any family relations between Sacha Cohen and Eli Cohen?
just watched it, and came here just so I can post this, an amazing, amazing role he plays, and the true story wow, deserve a price ,
Agree!! I watched all the 6 episodes in a single night! Have never been this much astonished and grasped by a movie, this is definetely the best movie series I've ever seen! And yes, I didnt even know this guy at all! I've seen him for the first in this movie. And now I watched some videos abt him and I was reaaally shocked to see him from a totally different side!!
It's his father.
@@danielhoff7485 what do you mean , its his father ? Who is who father , you got me confused now,
Eli Cohen Is Sacha Baron Cohens Father.
I’ve been waiting for him to do something serious. He certainly seems capable.
Most underrated actor . I don't know if he knows that he is a Oscar worthy actor .
I agree wid u totally! I am blown over by him

holy shit - it's like Borat got real and became Isreali James Bond. This is messing with my mind.
Real Borat scares me.
I dont know where to start,the acting,the atmosphere,the suspense...truly a masterpiece!
Sacha baron cohen breaks out of his typical roles and my god does he shine!
Highly highly recommended
Watched two weeks before , as an Indian "🇮🇱 mossad" always inspires me a lot , what a detailed work by director , the hero’s retina acted well
Just finished watching. What can i say... Cant believe that someone in our time will do something similar. The story of a hero. Sad, cruel story.
@sam bam you seem so brave behind a keyboard
@sam bam you're just proving my point, buddy. You're also quite original for repeating talking points made by classic anti-semites whose hatred stemmed from their jealousy of the success of their jewish neighbors.
Look throughout history: whenever there's a successful minority of people who appear different and observe different customs than the majority of the nations citizens, their success usually ends in bloodshed and/or exile
@sam bam your garbage.
Im an israeli and i would do it in a heart beat if my beloved country needed it.
guy sher u mean ur country that stole a land that isn’t there? Ur country is a bunch of thieves that convinced themselves that they’re right
Krisorder bruh wtf I’m talking about Israel being a shitty non existent thing it’s a shame y’all. Are brain washed by these people
One of the best series i have ever watched.. After that i watched a lot of documentary besed on Eli Cohen and Mossad, and their unbeliveable projects.. But i can not digest eli cohen's death, it made me cry, i thought he would be saved before hanging..
❤️ To Israel from India

No. General Admiral Alladeen
This is a TRUE story.
Lol
Please don't make fun of this, it's a very serious real story with quite a tragic ending. Eli Cohen was an Israeli hero who was captured, tortured and executed in Syria. His family never even got his body to bury, to this day.
One of the best series that I have seen in 2019. He is a great character!
Just completed the series it’s, intense, gripping and Sacha did a magnetic performance! What makes this series even more insane is when you realise it’s based on a real life story! MUST WATCH
Propaganda 💩
One of the best series on the life of a spy. Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Aaah! This series is incredible. Its not like watching a movie or series, it's like you're actually witnessing it. Great performance by every actor especially Sacha. You can feel every bit of pain and pressure Eli Cohen (the real spy) would have gone through. A must watch.
Neha Singh The series is loaded with falsehoods. It’s merely Zionist propaganda.
Indeed.. After hearing abt eli Cohen in crime tak by Mr Shamstahir Khan I waited for any series based on his life and finally got a chance to watch it... N I enjoyed it......actyly he was one f d greatest spy ever
@ just bcz ur islamist so u r saying it. Lol
@ oh shut up
@ Shut up, we did saw how Arabs joined hands to destroy Israel and still lost
Just finished watching it, one of the best series on Netflix. The finale was chilling.
Sacha is actually one of the best actors I've ever seen. He is Daniel Day Lewis level, no joke.
Sascha Baron Cohen is truly one of the best actors to have ever walked this Earth!
His performance in this series is unmatched 👌🏼
This is a perfect spy series. Cannot recommend more just watch it. Every shot is pure gold. I don't know why this is still so under rated.
Finally happy to see Sacha in a serious hard hitting dramatic role🥰🥰🥰😊😊
I absolutely LOVE Sacha Baron Cohen in dramatic roles. Get em, man!
This series is amazing. If this is what Sacha Baron Cohen doing dramatic roles is like, I want more.
After watching this series, i went and watched an interview with Amin Al Hafez in Aljazera channel in 2005. He said “ many people tried to stop Eli’s execution, but I refused because Eli was an Arab in the first place and he betrayed his own nation” . However, he said “ any Arab ruler is more dangerous than Eli Cohen”.
Can you share the link of that interview
I start to watch this show “The Spy” @8:00 am today, is very intense, I can’t STOP watching this TV series , is 3:10 pm and I’m in the last episode.
Amazing job with Sacha Baron Cohen, shows his best side as an actor in how he can be funny & silly but also he can be another completely different character than what he done in the past, GREAT, GREAT & GREAT FILM , thank you for doing such a wonderful job 👍🎥 🙏🏼🙇🏻♀️
yuriko kirei 👍👍👍
This series is an absolute masterclass. I don't think it got the appreciation it should have got. The entire script, the cinematography, the emotions shown, and ofcourse the way Sacha Baron Cohen played this role, it is absolute class. Top on my list of my favourite series followed by 'Better Call Saul'. A tragic, intense series which will not let you leave your screen till you complete it. You may think many of the guys here giving 10/10 in the comments is a bit exaggerated. But trust me, IT IS NOT. Can't think of a single reason why this show deserves any less than a 10.
Eli Cohen you’re a Hero! R.I.P 🌹🙏😔
Hahahahaha we fucked him🖕🏼
He was only 3 years in Syria
:( cause he wasn't smart enough. Haha we just fu*ked him after what he did.

Truely outstanding performance from Cohen. All of the accolades are his. This man is on another level.

I was totally floored by Sacha Cohen's performance. Hard to imagine a hilarious often offensive comedian capable of playing a directing such a serious series. Truly amazing was glued to the screen and binge-watched many episodes. Watch it, you will not be disappointed!
Sacha ventures into serious genre in style. A must watch series.
I was such surprised, to see Sasha Baron Cohan as Spy, so serious role, It was really amazzing.. I did not wait.. I ve been thinking this actor is comefian only, but no... He can play everything.. He is genious, I am sure.

Loved it ,he is king of comedy and now he proved that he is versatile he deserve more movies and awards
