I do paint correction & Airbrush in the Automotive Reconditioning industry. I have the forced action polisher here and I love it. Its made me a lot of money. Combined with my Milwaukee cordless rotary polisher there's practically nothing I can't correct. Love Makita!
I purchased this machine to add to my ridiculous Makita collection (which I have found until now to be faultless) following my retirement from the Crash repair industry after 25 years. I firstly used the machine on RA mode which operated satisfactorily, then I attempted to use the machine in force rotation mode and found that it rotates anticlockwise, which is the opposite direction to every rotary polisher, sander and grinder I have ever used. After searching for the reverse switch I noticed that it doesn't have one, Am I alone?
Why is Makita not on any other review sites ??? I am making my final decision to purchase either Flex or Makita…. Almost no reviews available. Flex numerous reviews. I have 4 Makita batteries so this would be a smart purchase but absence of reviews makes me think something is being suppressed. Thank you for any information towards a few independent reviews.

what do you prefer between the Milwaukee and this Makita? The only doubt i have with the makita is the 6mm vs 15mm of the milwauke..
