The actual name of this music is The Gael. It was written by Dougie Maclean, a Scot about 2 years before the movie, "The Last of the Mohicans" came out. Trevor Jones scored the music for the movie and I've never heard of that Randy guy. The important name to remember Dougie Maclean a well known Scottish musician and composer. Having said all this, I still like this arrangement.

Yes! the Native versions of this song are the best, it just sounds more spiritual its those flutes and Panflutes. The Gael sounds good but it sounds like something you hear in every action movie.
Simon & Garfunkel did a cover of a Native andean song called El Condor Pasa, which is good but not as good as El Dorado's condor pasa version which i consider the best version.

My reference to songwriting credit had to do with the introduction above written for the video that said the music was "Composed by" and then stated the wrong people (Dougie MacClean wrote it), and these two individuals are NOT the people performing the music in this video. I have nothing against the musicians, as people can perform music of anyone they wish. You mistakenly assume that I am writing about the performers, and then you resort to name-calling.
