Love your weaving projects I missed out on a huge loom at an oppie yrs ago . Also love that pattern with the pink in it id knit it but do what your heart says Will check Barbara out Beautiful dress huge patience I love the jumper idea. I did a heap of crochet flowers a few yrs ago One project un finished. Yours looks fine .I'm a loose crocheter. I'm.crocheting a dress at moment
Oh my goodness, that Okapi sweater is one that I took note of and considered knitting myself. I discovered it because Kristin Lehrer at Volenvine yarns was making that a few months ago and it was really cute. I like the asymmetry of it. I love the appearance of the Yin/Yang yarn. I really like the jumper would look great on you!! Remember, with weaving that Yin/Yang yarn, you would have to have different warp and that would affect how the overall look if you were weaving. And sewing a handwoven jacket would be more involved. I love the beautiful gray jumper you are wearing. So beautiful! Your purple scarf is gorgeous. I love purple. Granny squares are so fun! I have been tempted to join the School of Sweet Georgia's Granny Square class. I have been wanting to make a Granny Square blanket too. I also want to make a big Granny Square bag someday that has been on my queue for so long. Too many project ideas and not enough time.
Thanks Chelle, I 99.99% certain that I will knit the Okapi once I get this dress done. I hadn't thought about having to use a different warp - I just thought I'd use the main colour as the warp. Sewing a jacket is a scary thought for me at the moment too. I'm definitely with you on having too many project ideas and not enough time, but it's all good fun and something will get finished eventually.
@@yarnaboutyarn Yes, I've sewn several handwoven items but have still not ventured into doing a jacket with handwoven. That is something I'd like to do eventually, but probably not next year. It is something I view as more challenging, not impossible ---- just challenging. Maybe it will be on my "Make 9" for 2024. Ha!!! Have a lovely trip and I look forward to seeing more when you return.
I think the jumper will look lovely on you and smashing with black jeans or black pants :)
Thanks Carol Ann. It's getting more difficult not to cast on 🤣
I just love that jumper. I think that you should make it. 😀
I think so too! Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks Nellie. I'm leaning towards the jumper with the pink sleeve - just need to resist the temptation for a few more weeks :)
@@yarnaboutyarn I love quirky things like that simple but effective gives me Alice in wonderland vibes lol
Same here, not too "out there" but just a little something to make it interesting
