My TEDX talk was more than a labor of love it was with the inspiration and support of loved ones.. Having mom in the front row you can see it in my eyes along with my words how important she is in my life. This was a true family endeavor and grateful appreciation to my niece, Meira Kaufman (Now Meira Rodbell :)) who has enumerable talents and is an amazing human being who worked tireless on my PowerPoint presentation.. And a special thank you to my niece Danielle Kaufman who's artistic creativity put the polish on what I now welcome all of you enjoy. Please comment so I can learn from everyone.

Glad we reconnected today. As we discussed, I create daily gratitude posts. Today I hadn't made it yet, I was struggling with what to be grateful for. This is what my gratitude post will be on....Humility.

Dante, Glad we had time for each other. Continued success on your journey to build your inner strength on a daily basis. Our message detailing our struggles and sharing our vulnerabilities will be a value to both ourselves and others to know that we all need others to achieve our goals and make this world a better place.

So many quotes to live by:
Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less
You invest in people, not things
A brand is who you are.
    Be real and authentic.
Humility must never be confused with meekness
Leading with Your Ego is the affect you have on yourself, Leading with Humility is the affect you have on everyone
Thank you for a wonderful expression on what I subconsciously feel internally on a daily basis

Thank you, Briana. Our meeting was not a coincidence. Our faith and beliefs demonstrate this numerous times. You took care of me not because it was your job, more you used your experience to agree to my request with the confidence that you will build rapport, create customer loyalty and encourage me to share with others who will become customers as well. To mention one of my quotes you highlighted. Managing a Sprouts is what you do; why you are a success is because of who you are. Indeed, I will refer my network to patronize Sprouts. It is one of the few publicly traded companies that has the culture of operating like a neighborhood store. I am confident my friends shopping there will have an enjoyable outcome in every way.

I have watched this video at least 10 times and it deepens my understanding of 1 core value I found value in and it is WHO YOU ARE and not what you do! It is the core essential to build a successful personal brand! Thank you for sharing ! Thank you!

Well said Marvin Epstein, humility is the hardest trait to acquire and so easy to loose. Most misunderstand what humility is and how to obtain and retain it, And the irony of it is, it is the most powerful trait and possessing it opens you to acquire all the other desirable traits.

I'm a constantly a learner, listener to all things and angles.
Humility is something that I understand but never connected the dots in who i am and what I do and why I do it.
Great job and kudos to your presentation and delivery

Marvin, what an amazing talk highlighting the power of humility, how leading with it is about the effect we have on others, and creating a long lasting positive reputation by being authentic and praising others through genuinely bringing out their best qualities. Great theme... Baha'u'llah of the Baha'i Faith says that the soil (i.e. humus) should never be exalted above man and say to man that even though it has "...a wealth that supplieth the needs of all creation - behold the measure of my humility, witness with what absolute submissiveness I allow myself to be trodden beneath the feet of men.."

7:37 . A humble leader will always listen, and that provides the right atmosphere for problem solving. Leadership without humility is based on a faulty foundation and is bound to fail.

100% agree on the value of humility in leaders. But I wouldn’t characterize Mark Zuckerberg as humble. In fact, I’d characterize him as just the opposite based on what we know about humility in the social sciences.

Are you kidding? Humility makes any kind of leadership absolutely impossible. No one follows an uncertain trumpet.

  • @GeorgePenton-np9rh

Thos is utterly ridiculous. No humble person can possibly be any kind of leader. Nobody, but nobody, has the least respect for a humble leader.

Humility is so rare these days...such a deep and powerful form to relate and connect with one another. Extremely proud of you! Looking forward to seeing more of you in person and on TH-cam!
