Hi all you fans of Lume Shot and Eric's work. After 4 years after his posting of this video on the Bloodmoon I finally bit the bullet and had the updated version commissioned with the specs I felt were a good match. The watch was received more than expected in time, quality, and packaging. Doing business with Eric is a true pleasure and I can say without hyperbole that he is an open and honest person to deal with throughout the process. Please continue to support him and his work however you can. Thanks, Eric. 👍
I absolutely love the red anti-reflective coating, I didn't even know you could get red AR. The way it goes from pink/red through to orange as the watch is tilted is excellent.
Duuuuude that’s how there in my top favorite builds of yours. Came out AWESOME. And your videography on this one REALLY next level my friend. Great job.
I never would have guessed a custom built like this was done by a young man like him. This kid got talents and skills, and I LOVE that he is so ADD about the cleaning and his attention to details. If he's already doing such amazing work at this age, can you imagine how skilled this kid will be in 10, 20 years? This kid's going to be a bright star one day!
I think Seiko should employ him, get him working on the Grand Seiko's, before the Swiss see his work and he moves to the more common, popular,"for rich folk" watches, Absolutely agree with everything you said
I just did my first crystal upgrade. It was much easier than I expected in my head. Of course I watched plenty of videos on it. I’m pretty new to modding but I’m extremely happy with my Orient Mako2 I just finished. A DD clear AR crystal, coin edged bezel, lumed ceramic bezel insert and a Strap code jubilee bracelet. It’s really nice looking. Now I’m ready to do more. I really enjoy your videos. Great job.
💯 I have 2 Mako lls and would love to mod one with a new (domed?) sapphire crystal and bezel like the one in this vid, maybe upgrade the line too. You said what I was thinking, that it's some big thing & I'll mess it up. And that it ended up being easier.
How many of you'll started this video with no expectation and went OMG!! Man on man.. what a fantastic piece of art dude. You are going a long way. God Bless 👍
WOW! WOW! Incredible quality! Everything! You are the absolute standard holder of how TH-cam videos of this type should be done! I am a big fan forever, will be buying soon! Thank you!
You won't find a better option for having a custom watch made for you! I contacted Eric/Lume Shot a few months ago about purchasing an exact copy of the Blood Moon watch featured in this video. He was extremely communicative and made several thoughtful recommendations that ultimately resulted in a design that I like even more than the original Blood Moon. He was also very patient with several questions I had. His pricing was very up-front and reasonable, and my watch was delivered 2+ weeks sooner than the timeline he'd initially provided. It's obvious that he's not just running a business, but rather doing something that he truly cares about and takes pride in.

Eric, I recently found your channel and you are a beast! I really enjoy your mods and your expertise. I took my new SSK003 to a local "watch expert" in Richmond, VA for an adjustment and he literally polluted it with debris from his old nasty shop. I have two of his watches and they are awesome! He's great to deal with also.. Very nice guy who cares about his work.. This video actually sold me on the Bloodmoon and it was my first one..
Hey Eric, love your videos, especially the builds. Always very informative but also very entertaining. If I could offer a minor suggestion: I would love to see the finished watch on a strap. I think I understand why you wouldn't show that, the finished watch is supposed to go to a customer that puts it on whatever strap they want, and a strap is maybe not part of what you consider your work and process. But every time I see one of these gorgeous shots of the beautiful finished watch, I get this tiny nagging feeling that they are not done, that something is missing. Noticeable exception: the watch you gave away to your father. Seeing that on the bracelet made it feel complete to me. Anyways, just my rambling, keep being awesome, I'll keep watching, learning and admiring what you're doing. Thanks!
I am not easily impressed, Well Done. Not only a beautiful build but your production quality is top notched as well. You show exceptional pride in your product.

I made my daughter a similar skx custom watch for christmas 3 years ago , took months to source the parts , iv never seen her wear it !
