    Great review once again! A few months ago when i was looking for a monitor i discovered your channel and saw the requests to review this model. I remembered iiyama from the CRT times, and after digging around the internet i decided to get it. I am super happy with it, glad i went with an IPS instead of a VA, perfect for CS, but also for other stuff, as i have only one monitor.Also i really like how it looks, no cheesy red accents and racing gamer crap, it looks great on a monitor arm. Luckily for my OCD my unit has no coil whine. Was hopping u would review it to get an icc profile, that really sets your reviews apart from the rest. For me you have the best monitor reviews on TH-cam, keep up the good work!

    I purchased a G2770HSU a couple of weeks ago for.£155 from Amazon Warehouse. A small bit of bright leak on the lower right side, but I can live with that as it only seems to appear on dark loading screens. The stand size is definitely annoying tho, I promptly bought a clamping gas sprung arm with height, swivel, tilt & rotation.

    Thanks a lot for overdrive settings recommendation I thought I got a bad unit because default was looking so bad (horrible halos) on 60hz connected to a laptop. Regarding brightness, setting Blue Light Reducer mode to max (Mode 3) in OSD menu and Night Mode in OS(Windows) makes it completely usable in a dark room with no other source of light. I know it's not the same as reducing brightness but it's a compromise that works.

    I own one. It's a good monitor. I had some coil whine on HDMI but none on Display Port. As an added incentive they have a 1-month no dead pixels guarantee, which is really awesome because even if you have only one faulty pixel you can return them the monitor and ask for a new one. Other manufacturers don't do this. You need like 2-3 dead pixels or other significant faults.

    i have two of the G-Master G2470HSU fast IPS monitors by iiyama... had mine a year now and im very happy... both cost me around £144 each back in early 2023... very fast panel... once you calibrate the monitor the colour reproduction is excellent... i do use this setup to edit photos in Affinity Photo... for gaming the panel is lovely... vibrant and sharp rock steady images with no ghosting or artifacts... everything looks great... i bought mine from Ebuyer UK... i didnt want the 27" version as that was slightly too big for my desk... anyways im very very happy! i did have an iiyama Vision Master Pro 19" CRT monitor back in 2001 which was fantastic so i always held the brand in high regard since then...

    @IgorkubMASTER ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I've bought this monitor but in only "G" version, the shop told me they don't have it in stock and they'll send the "GB" which left me suprised. When i received it I was worried that it might have the coil whine issue, but it doesn't. The design works great for me, love the minimalistic look. The stand is indeed too big, I have a shallow desk and its really far from the wall, making it take almost half of my desk depth and the screen is not far from my face. The colors are good, just good, when looking at my Legion 5 2021 screen it looks subjectively better. I have some backlight bleed, but it's not awful. And what's really important for me, the screen is really responsive and the ghosting is minimal for the price. TBH i bought it because of your review, it seemed to tick all of my boxes, but i was worried about all the negative comments about this screen and the fact that you've got the monitor straight from iiyama which might suggest you got a golden sample.

I had the first 24G2 who at the end is way too strong, especially the bright colors. This one is really good. Thanks for the video, adjusted your settings and the image is wonderfull. G-Sync works fine without issues with Display port. Honestly screens with 410 Nits like the 24G2sp should not be available, this is simply danger for the eyes. OH MY GOD I BOUGHT THIS TODAY 6 HOURS AGO BEFORE THE REVIEW!!! But with Amazon Renewed for 100€. My AOC 24G2U died (bought with your video) and I was in panic because was the first model and I was in love, you give me very good news with this review. Love your work!!!! The only thing that can hurt me with this monitor would be the minimum brightness...

    • @memedoni
      @memedoni 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you like iiyama versus the AOC? those are 2 contenders im considering.

    • @lmeza1
      @lmeza1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@memedoni Well, I prefer the AOC, because the minimum brightness is lower (so you can use in darkness without crying) and AOC has a much better speaker. But I need to pay 190€ again for the AOC and only 100€ for iiyama!

    • @memedoni
      @memedoni 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lmeza1 They are both similarly priced here, around 200 euros.

      Hey! How do you like this monitor now? Are you still using it?

    • @lmeza1
      @lmeza1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hillman9730 Yeah, I'm reading your message with this monitor! For the price that cost me (100€), was a bargain. There are two things that bother me:
      - When monitor is connected to AC, but PC is power off, it does a little bit of white sound.
      - Lower brightness, THIS IS THE WORST OF THE MONITOR BY FAR (and the one that really matters), specially if you use at night, my older AOC has less lower brightness, at night I suffered this a lot at start, but now I'm used to this.
      So, I'm happy with it because in everything else is amazing (colors, contrast, response time & refresh rate, little frame, stand adjustable and rotative, two usb for having my bluetooth and mouse dongles, FreeSync running fine by DP with a GTX 1070, and I had lucky and doesn't have big light leaks).
      I think that the worse thing that can hurts from this monitor, is just the lower brightness and what can you get for the same price, for example if I need to buy this monitor or AOC 24G2U (older panel I had, not the newer, you can find both on
      techless channel) I would repeat with the AOC if they're on the same price, if it was like 170€ (AOC) vs 140€ (iiyama), I would go for iiyama with no doubt.

    I am not sure should I buy this one, Philips 24M1N3200ZA/00, or Dell G2422HS. I am looking for Full HD monitor 24', 165 hz monitor. Need it for gaming.

  • @chingler802

    Got this monitor and im pretty satisfied though i have to admit that any fps is almost unplayable for me with overdrive on -1 idk why but the motion blur is too strong. On overdrive +1 or +2 it feels fine and i dont notice any inverse ghosting or stuff like that ingame.
    I also thought about getting the Mobiuz (used for around 200€) for the better backlight-strobing. Is it really that much better than the one on the iiyama? And can you use backlight-strobing along with the bluelight filter on the Mobiuz?

    Have found this monitor and was intrigued by the price tag so I looked for a review. Yours helped a lot and I really like the way you showcased data and the way you filmed. Your voice sounds very familiar, are you by any chance also the guy behind "LOLNEIN"? :)
    Regarding the monitor I opt for the 27" variant of this (G2770HSU-B1) which has the inferior stand because it costs only 9 € more (189,90 € as of today) and I plan on getting a dual monitor stand anyway.

P.S. this is one of the rare channels that it has such high-quality content which is not influenced by sponsors and marketing, Good luck in your future work.
    EDIT: I found on Microsoft Store app: Monitorian, and that is all i need :)
