Sooo...What does the ICC download link do? I am on my phone right now so it will not download for viewing! I have the ex2710, will it work on it? Also why did you turn the brightness so low? I play on the series s so I do not have graphics card but I would love to know some calibrations so I’m not overexposing the game or blinding brightness from the sun but still good visuals in buildings

      @-BUGZ- 3 ปีที่แล้ว

My only issue is wether im using blur reduction or not, when i play games like COD the image blurs out after a certain distance and my xl2411p has no problem rendering players that far and im talking even the shoothouse map looking down the middle if someone else is looking from their spawn, i can see the red just fine but not the player. I don’t use HDR i use FPS mode and I’ve tried blur reduction and still nothing. I guess i can try the Gsync compatible mode again to see if that helps because if not im scared i wasted $250. I missed IPS colors but i guess i wasn’t missing it all that much.

    • @Skater4Life748
      @Skater4Life748 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@-BUGZ- you ever figure out the blur? I cannot for the life of me decide on the EX2510 or the XL2411K. I’m very competitive in shooters like COD and Apex. Would you say I should just go for the 2411K over this from a pure competitive standpoint?

    • @-BUGZ-
      @-BUGZ- 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Skater4Life748 no but it seems like I’ve gotten used to it and possibly exaggerating it because I wasn’t used to anything but a TN panel, in my honest opinion, get the other one, i have my XL2411p setting right here im about to just use that soon. But IPS panels are just not for fast paced gaming, i mean the last two streams on my channel are on the new monitor so you can kind of get a look at the difference (excuse my gameplay if you do)

EDIT: a cheeky FR sweep of the various sound profiles at your listening position would have been very extra but also very much fun haha
Good to hear that the speakers aren't complete doodoo and seem like they have some actual body to the sound. I'm a personal audio nerd that can't get into BIG speakers on account of living situation but there are times when having anything on my head just makes for a painfully humid mess. The colour performance and response rate is surprising for the price-- I have one of these things on the way to replace a decade-old Samsung TN as I type.
Thanks for an excellent review! Curious that the single overdrive mode selection is different between here and Hardware Unboxed but either way that's something I'll probably be keen to check out myself. This was remarkably thorough and your sharing ICC profiles and OSD settings makes for a great service. Subbed!

Amazing channel for a prospective monitor owner - super useful, packaging real technical specs and testing with down-to-earth, easy to understand delivery; you seriously deserve at least 100x as many subscribers than you have :D.
Just had a question, if you have time to respond to it: for someone who would like to do some casual movie watching and photo editing in Lightroom so wants decent colours and contrast, but also wants a ghost-less and fast gaming experience for casual gaming - would you recommend the AOC 24G2 or this BenQ EX2510 more?
It really seems the BenQ is better if you're not only doing gaming, but also other stuff too - so that's what I'm leaning towards right now...

I had to return the Mobiuz EX2710 three times in a row with two major retailers! I'm sure it's a decent monitor if you get a perfect one, but mine had dead or stuck pixels and each one had been opened and resealed by BenQ for whatever reason. One of them had a stand that looked like it had been used and thrown in the box with a new screen.... Their QC leaves a lot to be desired! I ended up spending a bit more in the end and bought the LG 27GL850-B and it's been great!

Should i use the sRGB mode or normal tweaked?
What i mean is, is the normal mode as good or not ( dont rly care about Blur reduction since there is AMA)

SRGB is probably more accurate, but way less saturated, I prefer using custom mode with BI and AMA2 on

I also have probed the MSI G241, a great monitor but the dimmer light was very high. In the office I use a basic Benq GW2480 and text is perfect sharp and it makes easy to work whit it.

Other than the inability to use the gaming modes to enhance the image, I'm more concerned about imput lag, latency, response time and ghosting.

I'm definitely happy to see this monitor is actually pretty good, I seen one video, figured I might as well order it because I was looking at 24" 1080p@144hz monitors, and with g-sync compatibility + IPS display, I couldn't help but buy right away, now just searching up these videos to hear multiple people talk about it being good puts my mind at ease as it'll arrive tomorrow :D
