Once again a jury has shown that ordinary people can be better than anything the politicians throw at them. This was a political case and nothing more.

Thank God! This young man is a testament of strength, character, and bravery. He conducted himself with integrity and honor through this entire trial. I can't say enough thank you's to the jury for their decision. I hope he gets counseling services b/c he obviously has been traumatized. I'm from MN, I watched what happened in Minneapolis, half of the protestors were bussed in from out of town in most of the cities around the US. Every time I look at this video and the video of his testimony, my heart goes out to this young man. The prosecutor was ridiculous. Charging him was ridiculous. The fact that the video CLEARLY SHOWS OTHER PEOPLE ATTACKING HIM FIRST, and the media just blamed him with 0 proof, shows the massive decline in common sense and decency. whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Probably the only time I've been able to root for the defense team. The media usually only reports on guilty verdicts because it's more interesting to hear about someone getting convicted. As such, prosecutors get most of the recognition most of the time.
Here it isn't the case, the defense attorneys are the true heroes. And they did their job well!

I definitely cried hearing not guilty for this young man. It was self- defense and we as Americans deserve to keep this in mind to protect ourselves.
I suppose even as an excuse, it really doesn't stop police brutality. This "Not Guilty" verdict started when police enabled BLM. I'm not going to reminisce any further, but these jurors made a terrible mistake.

Him killing two of them in self defense is protected. To make martyrs out of a common criminal means you promote evil instead of good. Judgment in the situation will be handed to the three rioters. Two just happened to have their judgment handed already.

It helped that Rittenhouse had good attorneys who made sure that all the facts came out in the courtroom and not on social media.

It's ridiculously hard to even follow major court cases like this because the mainstream corporate media does such a terrible job of laying out all of the information pertinent for the public to come to it's own logical conclusions. I remember very clearly the night that this happened. Twitter was blowing up with videos from the shooting, people on the ground told me and others that it was self defense, he was trying to provide first aid, wanted to help protect local businesses.
To me, it always seemed like self defense, the people who attacked him mistook him for the wrong threat, and unfortunately one thing led to another.

Very smart of the judge to immediately thank the jury theway he did. He’s preventing the media from attacking their decision and is said straight after the verdict so the media can’t cut the footage of him saying it.
You do realise that this basically confirms the fact the judge pushed the trial towards that verdict and was the verdict he wanted, thus saying he unjustly influenced the trial....right? No? ... Ok, nevermind then.
The Judge honorably held his oath to "uphold the constitution against all enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC." Even had to kick out MSNBC for attempting to gather names of jurors in order to make public in a failed attempt to pressure a verdict through death threats and hate crimes.

I was in a bar with the trial on tv when this was shown live. It was like everyone's team scored. Everyone literally cheered. Good triumphed over evil. ❤

A young kid facing the rest of his life in prison would be torture. Not a chance to even live, yet. It was great to see a fair trial even tho that damn prosecutor was trying to play ball his way. They need to fire that DA. There shouldn't have been charges to begin with. The videos clearly show him being attacked. Not him going out of his way to murder people. Imagine if he didn't have a weapon? They would have really messed him up. And they got what was coming to them for trying to attack a guy holding a gun. What did they think was going to happen to them? Anybody who defended those as*holes are scum just like they were. It's idiotic. If they had stayed indoors, they wouldn't have died that night. You can't blame Kyle for what happened. It'd be like trying to attack a lion then blaming the lion for killing that person. Everyone knows lions are capable of killing so if you play stupid games, you will win stupid prizes.
Now I’m worried about the well-being of everyone involved and I’m happy they didn’t show the jurors.

I believe the reason the jury took their time was so that they could never be accused of jumping the gun. They took the time to look at everything and fully recognize that there was no shadow of a doubt. And I am glad they did. It was talked through. No media source would be able to claim otherwise. And I think the Judge really appreciated it.

I cannot tell you all how much this means to me as a 32 year old man with a son. I was literally lied on when I was 18 and spent 12 months of a 30 month sentence only to be completely exonerated once my accusers decided to turn their life to God and tell the truth...
I have ptsd, I have some issues, major trust issues...
But I have broken down watching this young man's knees give out.
I was facing a life sentence, got 30 months and felt like I got lucky until I was finally cleared of all crimes.
I remember that feeling...
The feeling of knowing you will be able to have a normal life again.

The thing that still pisses me off is that this even went to trial. The prosecutors office should have watched the videos of the events and then stated publicly that it was a good shoot and that were bringing charges against those attackers that were still alive for their crimes.

Same here, my husband and I have been following this case closely from Denmark/Lithuania, holding our breaths as the verdict was read and feeling so so happy for Kyle and that there’s still some hope for the US.

Most of the reporters on unamerican television went out of their way to portray this boy as a horrible human being even our president committed slander. I'm now afraid to see what the idiots who didn't even bother to watch the hearing are going to do to a lot of cities this afternoon as they try to destroy more small businesses by breaking their windows and destroying their inventory. I am honestly so happy about this. The majority of American people are still smart and will not sway to media or political pressure. Justice has been served today. I'm emotional and touched by this whole ordeal and relieved now too. An innocent man has kept his innocence.

Can't imagine how difficult it would be to wait for the jury knowing you did nothing wrong, knowing you could be taken straight to prison for life with your family in the court room. I bet he was emotionally exhausted.

Jury called it right. Kyle Rittenhouse was not guilty. He acted in self defense, as the video shows.
Hate that he had to go through this. But he actually helped a lot in showing that you can still defend yourself in our country. He also has more courage than the mayor who let Antifa burn the city.
