He should’ve dug deeper into that. Shooters don’t care when they’re being called monsters or evil…in fact they like it. Go at his lack of friends, lack of love, the fact he’s a loser and a loner. Go at the fact weakness caused him to mess up, not strength. The fact that they’d all kill him if he didn’t have a weapon. Go at what causes him to commit the crimes in the first place. He wants to feel like the boss, so make him feel like the dork that he is.

This man was the essence of how being calm and collected is so much scarier and imposing than any kind of anger or rage could ever be. His clear enunciation. His calm cadence. And while you could obviously tell it wasn't easy for him and that emotions were strong, the controlled release of pent-up feelings that never escaped his control is exactly why that monster needs to be glad he's got bars to hide behind.

Joaquins mom wrote a book called “joaquins first school shooting”, it is a powerful, powerful, book. The parents of joaquins have done a lot of great charity work in honor of their son.

What an eloquent man. How he kept composure when talking about his child being murdered is beyond me. My love to him and the rest of the families and children suffering from this tragedy.
This King was even able to make the other parents smile for a moment. He spoke 100% facts about what's going to happen to this POS once he gets sentenced.

In all my 64 years, I have never, NEVER, heard pain and heartbreak so eloquently spoken. As Joaquin's father's stature grew with every prophetic word, you could just feel the killer's diminish.
It's cut off from the start of this video, but when Joaquin's father first walked into the room, most of the other parents lit up like a Christmas tree. As though his presence alone made them feel stronger and more secure. From what Joaquin's girlfriend said about him, he was like his father in that way. The positive effect he had on other people.

I had chills when he called the families his friends and they all smiled. It’s beautiful how connections can be made even through tragedy. I’m glad these families have each other and I hope they find peace no matter how impossible it seems.

Nicolas Cruz was a product of our broken system...he is to blame but our system is also to blame bc Nicolas Cruz deserved to be protected while still an innocent child who had no control over the neglect he suffered...which in turn resulted in this horrific act with loss of so many innocent life's that will effect families for generations ahead...

Joaquin must have been an incredible human being. From listening to Victoria, seeing the light and love in his mother and sister’s eyes, and listening to his powerhouse of a father. This man has to be some sort of professional speaker/writer. If he’s not, he should be. Not one mistake. Not one wasted word. He never lost his composure. This was like a speech from a movie except it’s reality. Like others have said. This is how a real man looks and speaks.
He had tour all over country telling his son story in the news, in theater, in conferences, so he has had some practice. He is currently advocating for gun control laws. He had met with both presidents and everything. He is very inspiring. He and his wife are very good friends of my family.

The way that this father was able to compose himself is the epitome of absolutely frightening. He spoke so calm and remained collected which I believe had everyone shook.
