I remember just right click the network icon on the system tray and click advanced then the same window popsup. If I do that now it brings me to the horrendous settings menu they have now. I am one of those people who like the win11 sleek look. But damn a lot convenience was updated to become inconvenient

The only downside is you must be connected online to do this.. Will not work if you are out of coverage to help someone that actually there to use the hotspot
We know that its easy to come there without the code in win+r but the fact he shows it and shares it with us is amazing because he learns us the code to come there even though we can go there in few clicks. Well done👍

If you dont have a computer already connected to the network you cant see the password.. because you never typed it yourself.. I highly doubt that the computers you use in class are connected to wifi.... If you do have a computer connected to wifi ...most likely the school's cyber policies are restricting access to the internet any way .. If your computers in class do have wifi enabled ..just hotspot your phone..😊
Depends on the version of Windows, you can't do that in Windows 11 it won't take you to the 'Network Connections' panel. In Windows 11 it takes you to 'Network & Internet' from there you have to click on 'Advanced network settings' and from there you click 'More network adapter options' which will open the 'Network Connections' panel. Knowing the name of the cpl file is fastest way to get there on all versions of Windows since the names have not changed since Windows XP.
@CazRaX youre right, i work almost daily infront of different OS and Windows 11 takes usually 3-5 steps more for anything to do than 10, which gets me off the focus rail and i have a suspicion that they're on a mission to let that Control Panel dissappear forever. (the old one from windows 7 since like ever the best one) Some people ask me then whats the difference and im not even crazy but theres things that you cant find on the big 11 settings menu or its buggy. Its too general. After all these years it still s*cks lol, glad im good with Win8 Kontext Menü, Themebar, Taskbar and App/Windows settings Designs in general. Oh and why do I say that? Right? I've noticed so many shorts of people unnecessarily using the run command to make it seem like they're more tech savvy and like there's more steps to the process when you can accomplish the same thing much quicker, and easier, with the press of a single button. Efficiency is far more impressive and interesting than "showing off"
As an experienced senior system administrator (currently I'm working as a network architect btw) I can say that this is basic IT knowledge. For all non-IT people this is a great way to recover the wifi password 👍

You can also just go into control center and type network in the search bar. This command is not necessary
You can right click on adapter, click settings, tab over to security. Click show password.
Not only did I already know this, I can do it in fewer steps from the task bar without having to remember the name of the executable.
I knew this but I don't do it using the Run dialog. I just go to that manually from the network settings
