I just wanna say, you're amazing. I'm sure installing tint is your main income, yet you give out EVERY little bit of information you think can help the average person do a great job. So, thank you.
Great video. But my question is, I know dirt is your enemy but Im curious about the sides where the fold is. I have trouble getting into the side seals when it comes to the fold where the protective film is. How do you approach that. I seam to crease that area after removing the protective film to finish the side.

Do you recommend using your green squeegee for cleaning and final squeegee before installation. Or a different one? I use it but getting trash lately and not sure it’s hitting the glass enough. Love your green squeegee though. But wanted your opinion
@@DetroitTintStudio Yeah I love it. Its replaced my yellow turbo for everything. But last few jobs jad a ton of specs I had to rub out. Dont think its good for cleaning
on rare occasion it can be but covering things up and keeping up to speed on vehicle issues helps avoid any problems. doors are designed to drain water and a made for some moisture since they sit outside in all types of weather
The vehicle probably has felt gaskets. Dirt gets stuck in the felt really easily as opposed to rubber gaskets so by cover them, you are reducing or otherwise eliminating contamination. Dirt gets sucked in really easily with the water and all that so in my opinion taping or covering the felt is super super important if you want to have a flawless tint job.
I clay bar my windows and before install, before last spray i swipe a micro cloth with alcohol along the top edge. 20 extra seconds, but really clean installs because how he said that top edge is a dirty mf

Is to much water a problem?? Like in some parts if you put to much water will it affect your installation??

If you’re installing windshield strips, or full windshields there’s a chance you can fry the vehicles main components or radio, be mindful
