  • Tinted windows can be found on most cars. Some come tinted from the manufacturer, while others have aftermarket tint. The process is simple, but it can't be rushed and requires attention to detail. Elliot Baker, the founder of Tint School Online, demonstrates his process for perfectly installing window tint.

    • @punktalley
      @punktalley 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The electronics are on the inside door frame away from the glass. All windows in a vehicle are designed to allow moisture to drain out the bottom of the door. Having said that along with being a tint shop it's best to use some type of absorption system.....I use FOSHIO SOAK ROPE 2 IN 1 with a crash wrap on door panels....not so much for electrical damage protection but to minimize customer complaints. They see the extra care of using the rope they tend to have questions about the care of their vehicle. Plus the streaks from the dash and door panel conditioner being removed with tint slip solution ( water and baby shampoo). Which does it hurt door panel and dash conditioner it just has to be reapplied.

    I never seen the tint done like this. All that stuff on the glass is normally done on the front of the window. I have never seen it only done on the back of the window

    Its deceiving to see such a pro do this job without much effort. Amazing job. I bet there will be numerous people out there like me who would like to have a go at doing this job and eventually end up contacting the pro’s after making a complete tit out of this

    Side windows are easy back window is where you might run into trouble especially if you dry shrink, i recommend wet shrinking it as you can tell immediately when the tint is shrunk because itll snake up the window.

    The first thing I do when I buy my new car is go right to the my tint girl that’s tinted my windows for the last 19 years! 💯🤟🔥 Always have to get the eyebrow on the front windshield!

    Rushing through this can cause so many problems. We've all seen bad tint jobs going down the road. I see why it pays to go to a professional.

    Why aren't towels used on the inside? Wouldn't there be electronics inside, like switches that can be affected?

    If you use a razor on the interior of your rear window, wont that damage your rear windshield defroster?

    • @willh9850
      @willh9850 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      You would use a white cleaning pad for the rear window, so you don't damage the defrost lines.
